Mikey's Quick Coupler PVC Split Couplers Save Time & Money -No Replumbing!

- MikeysQuickCoupler: 2-Piece Coupler that fits existing unions like the Pentair and Hayward Salt cells. It goes on in a minute without cutting or replumbing. In the past when a nut cracks on a backwash valve, salt cell, and filter bulkhead you would need to cut it off and do extensive plumbing. The Quick Couplers are made of very strong plastic and are molded here in the USA. Once you get one in your hands you will see for yourself that these are built to last.
P&H SLT
This coupling replaces the cracked/broken couplings on either end of your Intellichlor or Hayward Salt Cells. It also fits Waterway 2” Unions. This is also being used on Hot-Tub equipment. It does fit the Dura-jet pump. You can try it on other equipment as it seems to be the most Universal of the split-couplers.
Do not use on the older Hayward Turbo-Cell 15 'GOLD LINE' some have different threads.
J-CTKR-2”
This will fit a 2" Jandy caretaker system.
P-BKWSH
No need to change the whole valve, take the broken nut off and mine will go right on. For a Pentair Backwash Valve and some Pentair filter Bulkhead unions. Fits the Newer Multi-Port Pentair valves also.
PRH-2”
Fits the Praher 2" ball valve coupling.
H-200
This fits the Hayward -backwash/ slide valves as well as any other Hayward equipment that uses the Hayward H-200 like certain filters and other Hayward equipment.
I would order one of each and carry them on my service truck. You never know when you will need one and you can always try one on a particular union to see if it fits. The P&H SLT seems to be the most universal of the split-couplers and may fit many unions commonly used in the pool and spa industry. Can you post a video how to replumb when there’s not enough pvc pipe length left to cut and reinstall with new couplers?
use a reed reamer pvc tool
theres also like a slip join that fits inside the 2inch pvp pipe, its like a coupling but inside the pvc pipe, on the downside it will reduce a bit the water flow
Hey! out of topic but quick question: my parents pool just got replastered yesterday and it's currently being filled with the garden hose. Its looking good so fae. Calcium over here is 200ppm in TX. At what point during the filling process do I add the sequestering agent and the easy care beautec? The pool is a quarter of the way full. Just don't want the pool water to turn green, heard that could be an issue with the metals and copper in the water?
You also mentioned to keep the pump running for 24/7, but for how long for 24/7? Thank so much!
You can add that when it is filled. I like running them 24/7 for a few days. The builder did not set you up with a dedicated start-up guy/
@@SPL No, unfortunately, I'm the one that takes care of my parents pool. It's like you mentioned in your podcast about the 4th start up method where they hand you the keys. The plaster guys and the guy that hired them weren't knowledgeable in the chemicals go figure. But thankfully I'm able to maintain it. I really appreciate your response. I'm learning a lot from your channel.

Does he have a coupler union set for Jandy cells, filters, pumps etc ?
He is working on it. Maybe the P&H SLT will fit the Jandy cell. I tried a few on a Jandy pump but no dice. Those are surprisingly large.
