    You mentioned My Sisters Scrapper. I love watching her videos! In fact I'm actually following along with her paperbag mini album series for a swap I'm in. She is so easy to follow along, and she always shows such great tips and techniques.

    Good suggestion on making sure the chipboard is square as a lot of times they are not. Walmart's sells the chipboard in packages of 25 ct. in black, natural and white in sizes of 12x12 or 8-1/2 x 11 at a very good price. If you use the 8-1/2 x 11 paper for your cover, you save paper as so much of the 12x12 is cut off at the top. You are doing an awesome job!

    I'm lovin' this next video. On the "gap" between the cardboards, I use 2 thicknesses of whatever cardboard you are using. And, cereal box cardboard of 2 or 3 layers is good. I just make sure to have the grain of the "paper" going 2 directions to make it stronger.

    Loving this series, Amy! I just wanted to let you know that I found the packs of matboard at my Hobby Lobby back in the fine arts dept (on an endcap display) near the framing dept. I think they might be 'off cuts' from matting in the framing dept. Hope that helps you and your viewers!

    May may take the triangle you just cut off and glue it in that corner you cut short. That way you cover that corner and not to worry. Learned that from paper posh lady. It works.

  • @boojay111

    Hello I don't know if you can get this over in the States but am sure there is an equivalent for making the paper stronger but flexible behind and at the side of the hinge where the paper creases most I use Linen Hinging Tape by Lineco, normally used for mounting watercolours. It doesn't add bulk but stops the paper creases wearing away too quickly. Thought you might like to know, oh wondrous one!!

    Your 2 inch flap is where your spine or first piece of that flap was suppose to be. I watched you make that error hoping you'd notice. But it's done. Haha. I'm sure it worked out anyway. I'm just starting to watch h this series and enjoying it so far. Thanks for these tutorial series!

    Thanks so much for doing this video it is so easy to follow. I am doing mine as a wedding album, my first, I was wondering if I can add a couple of extra pages in this setup.

    • @MaymayMadeIt
      @MaymayMadeIt  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, you may need to adjust your spine out a little wider. That really depends on how much dimension you want to add to it.

    Love the wrap idea. On your glue you have a very pointy cap. Do you purchase that by itself. I like the idea of a fine line of glue. Looking forward to your finished album. I missed how you added the envelopes. Don't see a tutorial, did you have one?

    Hi Maymay, I was just wondering if you would take the bone folder in between the pieces of chip board before you did the folds. Then you wouldn't have to worry about ripping the paper that had been folder over?? You could even put the cover paper underneath and do it at that same time. May not work but just what popped into my mind.

    • @MaymayMadeIt
      @MaymayMadeIt  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually do run the bone folder down the creases. Not sure why I didn't in this one. Sorry! But, your exactly right that will work.

    • @chelle-shellparks1882
      @chelle-shellparks1882 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please no need to be sorry!!! You do awesome work I was just wondering especially about the top layer. If that would make it easier to fold.

    Hey Maymay! Question. I'm making my first mini album and it's looking great! Except for the cover. How do you disguise where you had to attach two pieces to get one long strip of paper? My seam is super obvious and even though it's on the back it bugs me! Any tips?

    • @MaymayMadeIt
      @MaymayMadeIt  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Calle Colburn I typically mat the album with another piece of paper. Then you won't see it. Hope that makes sense...
