The Album That Didn't Want To Get Made Part 1

- This is a tutorial that you will need to watch completely through before starting .
~~~Measurements and special instructions~~~
You will need 6 envelopes that measure 5x7. We chose to use kraft colored ones, but of course you can use any color you prefer.
We will be slicing off the tiniest bit in the following ways to get the envelopes ready for construction~ we fully explain this in the video
You will score 3/8" back from the original score line to create the gap needed (see the video)
2 no slice~ 2 left slice ~ 2 bottom slice
You will assembling them in this order ( see the video for full instructions)
No slice
Top (left) slice
Bottom slice
Top (left) slice
Bottom Slice
No slice
The spine piece will vary according to your envelopes, but we have listed the measurements that we used ~~~ the chipboard piece is 1 5/8 x 7 1/2, we then took black cardstock that measures 2 3/4 x 8 1/2 and wrapped the chipboard ( see the video for instructions)

Chipboard covers intimidated me for waaay too long. Turns out they are easier than I thought. I finally made an album, but I haven’t even finished it, I’ve only added the signatures. But having to do the covers is my least favorite part but I don’t know why. And there is no way I could make these w/out labeling what’s what. I’m hoping to make this one all the way thru! Y’all are terrific!

QUESTION: Does it matter if your envelopes have a point envelope rather than the rectangular closure?
Could you make this album with 10 x 12 envelopes? I have a box of catalog envelopes I can use.
