This is my second time watching this tutorial series...I came back because I so like your style of teaching! It's so easy to follow...easy because you show both the envelope base and the cs covered pages at the same time...makes it easier to understand where and why the adhesive goes. Thank you so much for making this series! I really like using the envelope and card sets from Michael's. Well done!

I really like this style of making a mini album,so much easier to do,I have a few envelope/card sets that i can put to good use now! I'd love to see a tutorial using paper bags for a mini.TFS.

Hi Z Scraper, it's a white mailing envelope. You can find them at any office supply store. They are very sturdy and help hold the binding together and also help so the paper does not got worn from opening of the album over time.

Hey scrapqueen whatever the length of the envelopes is, you will want the cardstock just slightly smaller so that once the hinges are made you can slide the opening right over the hinge to adhere it. I hope that helps and makes sense. If it's easier you can keep the cardstock 12" long and cut off the extra once you have the hinges complete.

I seen this using flip flaps which are great but here in the UK we cannot get them so this is perfect and i assume we can make them as large/small as the envelopes we buy. Love it and I've subscribed

No Joyce I haven't. The hinge system would be the same length wise, you would just need to cut is shorter to fit your envelopes, does that make sense?

Thanks Meliisa, part 2 will get uploaded yet tonight. It took over 2 hours for this one to upload and I had some computer things I needed to get done and it was making my connection super slow. Part 2 is the third style of page and the binding I think. The last part is my album all put together and decorated.
What size envelopes are you using. They look like about 7 1/4 x 5 1/4.
Do you have any tips for minis without the kathy orta binding system?
Hi I love this series of videos you created. Your teaching methods are great. Im on the last step in making the binding the measurements of my envelopes are 5 in x 6.5 in what sizes do I need to do the binding. ? Id appreciate your help thank you.

Hi i was watching your video i was listing and you said that we could use 6 pages. I have watched different videos, and i notice that they say only 5, 6, ect. But ? is if i wanted to use more envelopes i can if i wanted to right. Or will it be to much. Can you please let me know. thanks jp

I've always liked your style but I have to admit that the black envelopes make it really hard to see what you're doing. I wish you could have brought your page up to the camera while you worked so that way we, or I, could've seen just how you did things. But you did a great job altogether so thank you very much.....Laura☺
It's very difficult to see with the black envelopes. I missed a couple of parts because of that.

How do you make a mini album out of #10 white envelopes???? I love this video but it's not the one with #10 envelopes and the measurements...Gosh thanks so much if can let me know...Also I'm a newbie here...Hugs, Wendy
I was watching so i can learn how to make your mini i have an other ?. The photo mat that you put on the Left side is that a single pieces of card stock. I noticed the the one on the right has to flaps. thanks jp
