The fact that treyarch were able to pull through at such a pivotal moment in zombies and actually make a good set of maps is so good. Zombies could legit have died this year if bo6 flopped at launch.
As someone whose favorite zombies game is Bo1, I have to say that I absolutely love Bo6 so far. Terminus is easily a top 10 map for me. Great video bro, and happy to see Ascension getting a huge shoutout. People always forget that it’s really what started Easter egg quests in zombies
I fully agree with this guy. The aesthetic, pace, and overall quality of the maps has been extremely pleasant. I'd go as far to say its a top 5 map. I thought liberty falls was going to be a total flop, but honestly would rank it highly now.
This is my first dig back into zombies since bo2 I spent years just watching people solve all those esster eggs and I remember being incredibly intrigued by the storyline of zombies but i could never bring myself to justify getting into the harder Easter eggs myself so fir bo6 to actually pull me in as quickly as it has and get me excited about what's coming like I was in bo2 and bo1. Being able to complete both easteer eggs by myself and hsve fun doing so is incredibly fun I got cock blocked in mw3 zombies by the story bit where I have to use cryo ammo to kill hellhounds the game only ever dropped the ammo mod recipe for me once early on but I did before I could get back to the exfil helicopter and I never saw it again. I hated not being able to get anywhere on that front out of legitimately over 80 hours of playing mw3 zombies. So you can imagine my relief not having to rely on such rng bs in bo6 liberty falls is so fun and terminus is a but more challenging for me but both easter eggs are easily done with a team and very enjoyable each time. I love the feel of terminus and I'm instantly going to be grinding the hell out of castle de more when it comes out I've always been an enjoyer of ancient history and old castles and ruins with rich mythos surrounding them so I just know I'm going to be sniffing around every corner for hours on end 😅
small note with the beamsmasher, using the stun wave then using the main laser is something like a 4x damage bonus (its less of a bonus for other weapons). its a lot less easy to use then something like the thrustodyne (Liberty's new jetgun) but its still really powerful.
Dude, why don't you have more subs? This is higj quality content! Both in terms of commentary and your actual reflected thoughts, but also the editing! Keep it up! (Subbed!)
im a mix of og/easter egg era, origins was probably the last time i felt 100% passion for this gamemode as even tho it was complex in nature it still managed to capture that anxiety of older zombies, and wasn't as overly arcade like as every iteration after it new zombies has "anxiety" but its not the same, you get anxious because of annoying super sprinters or onslaughts of specials/elites, but where older zombies got it right was doing it through environment, everything just feels so tedious and impossible to immerse into now, this is definitely the best it's looked and felt in years but theres still a side of me that looks at it with emptiness, like it's not *quite* there
I feel like the anxiety in the old CODs was because zombies didnt have a health cap, and gun damage was more simplistic. You had anxiety because you just literally couldn't escape certain situations, but now you have a lot more tools at your disposal. In return the CW/BO6 zombies are a LOT more aggressive even though they do less damage, but if you get surrounded they're going to get you jumping up and down just like the old CODs. I think it's all just a matter of perspective in the way that we view things in a nostalgic way.
Honestly im still surprised how youre not famous yet, well executed video and good effort on explaining the map and pre-telling the history of bo zombies, and you have a strong background on the zombies timeline and great understanding of types of gamers and specifically who plays zombies ! You got yourself a new subscriber
@ seriously, my biggest gripe with the game as a whole is sbmm in multiplayer. Sometimes I’ll get on and just have the worst time, other times it’s a blast, no in between for me
How can this man make videos of such excellent quality, and not have more subscribers? Great work my guy, and I completely agree with ur video. My biggest complaint is the HUD so far. I know that it is possible to change, but the problem is that the MP HUD changes too.
ive played since waw and honestly I think its great. Besides if I ever want to go back to waw there are tons and i mean TONS of customs for that game. As long as the newest zombies is fun and engaging for a long time its a good day for zombies. Sure there are certain mechanics the game doesn't need, they at least work well in unison with each other. Its not like there are mechanics that feel out of place for the mode. Like a shield in bo6 would not work well (looking at you turtle shell augment)
I completed Terminus last night and I gotta say IMO it ranks definitely up there with some of the GOATS! The boss fight is amazing yet challenging and keeps you on your toes!
@ honestly from what I’m thinking they really are making the player really use the “ Jason Blundell “ way of playing and thinking. Why you’re doing what you’re doing makes sense and yet it’s challenging! If you make a mistake it’s on you. Nothing is out right unfair but it requires skill. I’m excited for DLC 1 for sure.
After hearing the codpod news. We’re getting a castle map that they’re trying to turn away from facility maps, have 4 elemental swords, dragon themed, and vulture aid. This game life cycle has started out WAY better than Bo3. Let’s hope it can finish that way
@ I wouldn’t say bo3 was only successful because of 2 years. Chronicles was definitely a huge part of it, but bo3 would still be loved without chronicles.
I love the map. Struggling to do the Easter egg with randoms… would love some assistance with it. Impossible to do with randoms who don’t communicate or who have done it but got carried through it not knowing the steps.

It may not be my favorite zombies game but I’m having fun with it. I’m excited to see what Easter eggs citadel can bring us!
I really want bo6 to succeed. the maps have been good so far and the mechanics have been really fine tuned. we really just need the balance and bug fixes addressed soon or this game is really going to start going downhill because it's getting really frustrating.
Well said man, I’m an OG fan at heart, and an Easter egg era sometimes, sometimes I like to play the game casually. I know so many disliked liberty falls but I think it’s a pretty good map for new zombies fans and when you don’t wanna take zombies super seriously and just play. I haven’t played much of terminus but that’s just because I don’t have a good duo or trio to play it with. Good vid bro. Keep on!
Not sure why but the big change was not b04 in theory it was b03. While good b03 changed high rounds, the way you train zombies, gobble gums!!, weapon kits, ending cut scenes also killing off the og crew. B02 marks the end of classic zombies not B03
@@ChristandIreland the OG crew is "killed off" in bo3 and put into the summoning key, DE is dempsey, Zetsubou is takeo, richtofen is the giant and nikolai is gorod. Its the entire storyline in bo3 zombies. Also I would say that there is not much difference in gameplay between WaW-Bo2 compared to Bo3. Gobbles, sliding, complex EE's with cutscenes that end the game, Bossfights, weapon kits, all make such a difference in gameplay compared to Bo2 and before. Bo4 was the main turning point towards this specific system we have now, whilst bo3 was the main turning point towards a change in zombies, just not defined what that change is.
This is why it’s imo I personally never liked 2 versions of any character. The og crew was replaced with themselves but more serious and boring (IMO). Amazing video man and I'm glad you make a difference between actual OG players and people who joined toward the end of bo1 or in bo2, as someone whose favourite map is still Der Riese I've always preferred zombie maps be good and fun at the basic zombie killing level, without requiring difficult or complicated steps to just open PaP without a guide, i was pulled back into zombies by Cold War as it had the simplicity and let anyone of any skill level or experience get to pap and experience the map in full. P.S "Infamous" means well known but generally not liked, like TranZit would be infamous, Der Riese is simply famous
@@salveregaIo thank you so much man! That’s means a lot. If your interested I’ll be stream the new map Ciatdelle Des Morts here on TH-cam in about 5 hours. If not I’ll be posting a video in about a week. Thank you!
I feel exactly the same way bored of liberty and terminus, citadelle has to be amazing for me to keep playing, I am 10th prestige by the way on bo6, I don't feel like terminus is that amazing, maybe compared to cold war and vanguard, which I didn't play, I just don't feel like the replay ability is there on liberty or terminus.
I’m an OG fan, played the most during W@W and BO1. BO6 so far is probably my favorite zombies after BO1 and W@W because it feels like they are focusing on more open map design rather than railroading you through a quest. I dropped off after Tranzit because I hated the buildable system and thought the map was a wet blanket after Moon (my favorite map) As I am older I understand why they took the direction they did and it was probably the best for the series, but easter eggs never interested me. BO6 changed that, I’ve done Terminus 3 or 4 times and Liberty Falls a few times after never doing an EE. I think this is the first time I’ve been intrigued by the story since BO1 also. They’re doing a lot right. Hope we can get some kind of Zombie Chronicles 2 with the refined systems now in place
I've really liked Terminus. My first thoughts were that this map felt like Die Maschine and ZNS combined. I'm excited for DLC 1 because this is already one of my favorite launch maps
I loved this video but one thing is I just MISS the BO2-3 styled maps; Der Eisendrache, Buried, Origins, and even Die Rise were all maps I really loved, I hope “Citadelle Des Morts” exceeds our expectations
True that. I feel like with every map, there was something drastically different compared to the others that you could easily remember compared to the others, and what makes those maps different as a whole. You know that the vertical difficulties of Die Rise are different from the zombie outbreak at Morg City in the 1940s from Shadows of Evil. I feel like its regaining that strength slowly with Terminus. I really hope Citadelle Des Morts keeps the train rolling.
I really liked your views on zombies. Though I feel like there’s a few more checkpoints to touch on this was an awesome take. Dropped a sub for sure and I look forward to future content
I finished the easter egg on solo twice now and i am unbelivably happy about it beamsmasher is very weak ray gun is mandatory for the both bosses if you dont have the GSH 45 akimbo
Beam master isn't weak at all. Use your right click, and the slow down makes zombies take x4 damage. I've gotten over 500k damage with a LR762 doing that to amalgams
So I loved the video fr but I’d like to point the way you’re talking about the wonder weapon tells me you have unlocked its full potential. You have to tap a horde of zombies for a second or two and then fire off the laser to the stunned enemies (manglers and amalgamations included) and it’ll melt or obliterate them 🫡
I’m a og waw player from the age of 11 I’m now 28 I’ve adjusted to the newer cod’s and really enjoyed them coldwar was my first full Easter eggs because they could of be done solo
I agree to everything bo6 as in og and ee player I like bo6 sooo much it’s hard it will make me angry that what I like. And you video quality is amazing I still don’t know why aren’t you famous will I will sub
@@TaIaI thank you so much, I really appreciate that! I’ll be streaming the new zombies map Citadelle Des Morts when it comes out in about 10 hours if you are interested! If not I have a video coming out in about a week! Thank you!
awesome video man, just subbed! i’m enjoying bo6 so far and i do enjoy terminus - one thing i also couldn’t help but feel/notice is that the bio lab in terminus feels very similar to the PAP area in die maschine. obviously terminus has different elements like the water and the lift, but the color schemes and just the overall feel is comparable to die maschine, did you feel like this at all?
Thanks for the sub! I do feel like this to an extent. I mean it’s kinda the same idea, go downstairs into a lab where a lot of the Easter egg takes place. Thankfully the terminus version is more unique and has more to it!
Actually was ready to full heartedly disagree with this take but in the first minute you really made such a strong point. Ive never noticed how terminus does a great job of fusing all the best parts of previous zombies games.
stunning editing and thumbnail design. About the map i personally thinks terminus its easily a top 10 map (of in the lowers tiers) but still an amazing experience. Ps. i havent played enough maps like ancient evil or dead of the night to put in a top 10 so dont i dont count them
Terminus looks similar to zetsubo because kevin drew was the design director of zetsubo and he likes stuff like organic transformation and plant based enemies (he also was the design director of ancient evil. A lot of yapping ik
I think the rewards post moon have been underwhelming. Once u do the egg it should be a perkaholic that stays even after u down. That should have been the standard post moon
really good video, but i feel like you missed a few key things der riese is mainly influentual by changing the zombie cap, which previously was 24 zombies per round. now, it scaled infinitely i think the competitive community should've been mentioned more and been one the groups you mentioned, it's huge and made up of high round players and speedrunners.
Thanks for the input, the competitive community is a subsection of the Easter Egg Era but you’re right, they deserved a specific mention. And the round cap was only 24 zombies per round in WAW shino numa, no other maps only had 24 zombies per round
@ you’re incorrect here. Nacht and verrukt both also had a 24 zombie cap. That’s why those high round records are thousands of rounds, while der riese is 240ish
OG buddy guy here been playing since nacht came out and played every single day for several hours each day minimum 6 to 7 hours a day and stopped playing after the last bo3 map (zombies chronicles) hopped back in for cold war and how im back again with terminus. I FUCK WIT EASTER EGGS. I fuck with the puzzles especially, and could care less about filling zombie souls into a container. I believe bo6 terminus is a perfect blend of this (the orb step in beamsmasher is not just to kill a certain amount of zombies). Terminus needs to be more scary in MY opinion (OG), less pop ups and HUD noises is small but would do wonders. These funky things take away from the atmosphere too much, i really feel like im sitting in my room playing some game, rather than feeling like im one of the only people alive and im shooting zombies with my bro. Also the bigga da gun da betta. I loved getting hyped for that browning LMG cause that shit ripped.
Personally I disagree that die maschine and mauer give terminus a run for its money. I don’t think those two maps are bad or anything. I just think terminus is underrated. Terminus is for sure a top 10 map and it’s really not getting enough recognition due to liberty falls being free for casuals and everyone camo grinding on liberty falls. Kind of a shame so many people are missing out on this amazing map.
Bruh the “The og’s” and “Easter egg” eras are basically the same. The community wants a none guided very hard Easter with some vibrant colors but still dark and scary in a sense.
Bo3 was the real last zombies I’ve played. More specifically the CUSTOM maps. Unlimited content and just so much fun. I played cold war zombies. It was fun at first but it fell off and I never played the dlc. IF BO6 comes out with customs maps and allows the community to to really launch this game into the stratosphere, this will be the greatest zombies game of all time.
You are so underrated bro, great video but I disagree with you on terminus being the most important map in history, although i agree on some points you said, i don’t think it deserves 8.1/10 im just curious what are your top 10 maps of all time if you don’t mind
@@RadicalQuail you are a man of good taste Radical, verruckt is odd but the others are all valid 👑. Keep making content brother hope you make it big My top are : shangri la moon origins Shadow DE Zetsbu Gorod IX Ancient evil And my most beloved map in bo4 is DEAD OF THE NIGHT Anything after bo4 i really didn’t enjoy as much as these 10 tbh
Interesting Imo I think revelations was the most important map ever made simply because blundell chose to not have it be the Great War map and postponed it and we never got in the end due to activision losing faith in bo4 (sadly, I love bo4) And yes the Great War should have been the last map for the old story and they should have started fresh like chaos
I see what your saying, and I'd agree that rev should have been the most important map, but the redirection stopped it from being that, instead it was just a pretty good map to end a great game.
for me bo6 just lacks map specific mechanics, yes the boats are fun but it doesn't change the gameplay loop much. Think of origins staffs, robots, challenges and tank, MOTDs afterlife and hells retriever, buried with Arthur (or Leroy), witches and time bombs, moon with excavators, PES, hacker and moon gravity and to a certain extent shangs tiles and eclipse mode.

The ragdoll from the Mustang and sally of this game is hilarious and fun to me
The ragdoll in this game is awesome, the zombies in general feel more real than they ever have

Will do, thank you!
Bro I loved the video I subscribed keep going fam you're gonna be at 100k next year
@@salveregaIo thank you so much man! That’s means a lot. If your interested I’ll be stream the new map Ciatdelle Des Morts here on TH-cam in about 5 hours. If not I’ll be posting a video in about a week. Thank you!
@ I'll be there, keep working hard and creating fam eventually everything will all make sense 💪
Citadelle Des Morts HAS to be great for me to stay engaged.
I’m guessing you don’t like Liberty and you thought terminus was ok?
I feel exactly the same way bored of liberty and terminus, citadelle has to be amazing for me to keep playing, I am 10th prestige by the way on bo6, I don't feel like terminus is that amazing, maybe compared to cold war and vanguard, which I didn't play, I just don't feel like the replay ability is there on liberty or terminus.
I agree. Liberty falls isn't great to me. Terminus is good, but yeah, it all hinges on citadelle
@@charlieslegacy158terminus has the most side easter eggs of any other zombies maps. I dont get how it would be less replayable than older maps.
@@charlieslegacy158obviously if you play the game that much you’re gonna get bored dude. take a break lmao
This is awesome man! Gotten a lot of comments like yours of people coming back to the game in bo6
I've really liked Terminus. My first thoughts were that this map felt like Die Maschine and ZNS combined. I'm excited for DLC 1 because this is already one of my favorite launch maps
Zetsobou and Die Machine is a great comparison. I still think terminus brings a good amount of its own flare which is very fortunate
Thanks for giving Mauer some love that map is goated
bro just might be up next... amazing video man
Thank you bro! more to come!
Been playing zombies since Waw. Fell off after bo4. Played a little close war but bo6 feels great for the first time in years and I’m loving it so far
Good video! Really good editing as well
Thank you!! many more videos to come!
The story could get exciting again depending on what they do. This feels like a great launching off point imo I think things are about to kick off
@@wumbosaur6111 ikkkk I’m so excited
What editing software do you use man?
They need to remaster all of the bo2 maps they were the best ever
@@brycebatchelor3795 lol tranzit and die rise definitely aren’t
@@49HEALTHBro Die Rise was kinda fire ngl.
@49HEALTH yeah Tranzit sucked idk why people like it

First person I have seen in a while mention Bo4 zombies and not just mindlessly shit on it. Awesome vid btw
@@RandomUserWiiU45 thank you man! Bo4 is fun!
I finished the easter egg on solo twice now and i am unbelivably happy about it beamsmasher is very weak ray gun is mandatory for the both bosses if you dont have the GSH 45 akimbo
@@onur97able I’m happy mustang and sally are great in this game
Beam master isn't weak at all. Use your right click, and the slow down makes zombies take x4 damage. I've gotten over 500k damage with a LR762 doing that to amalgams
My first zombie game was bo1, I also played waw at a friends place so I'd say im an OG, not much for the easter eggs and boy do I like Terminus.
HE DOESN'T MISS
So I loved the video fr but I’d like to point the way you’re talking about the wonder weapon tells me you have unlocked its full potential. You have to tap a horde of zombies for a second or two and then fire off the laser to the stunned enemies (manglers and amalgamations included) and it’ll melt or obliterate them 🫡
@@penablox9780 yeah I’m learning this from other comments haha. I haven’t used it a ton because I’ve mostly been camo grinding! Thank you!
Terminus has the nicest camos imo,Reminds me heavily of that lava camo from bo3.(If they sold the terminus camos id buy in a heart beat)

awesome video man, just subbed! i’m enjoying bo6 so far and i do enjoy terminus - one thing i also couldn’t help but feel/notice is that the bio lab in terminus feels very similar to the PAP area in die maschine. obviously terminus has different elements like the water and the lift, but the color schemes and just the overall feel is comparable to die maschine, did you feel like this at all?
Thanks for the sub! I do feel like this to an extent. I mean it’s kinda the same idea, go downstairs into a lab where a lot of the Easter egg takes place. Thankfully the terminus version is more unique and has more to it!
Phenomenal work!!!
Thank you! New video coming in a week!
@ absolutely goated transitions+edits. Perfect Segways. Big things comin man
Actually was ready to full heartedly disagree with this take but in the first minute you really made such a strong point. Ive never noticed how terminus does a great job of fusing all the best parts of previous zombies games.
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
Great vid! As a new zombie player it was very intriguing. What are your thoughts about the new citadelle map?

@@eldurakopr thank you man!
stunning editing and thumbnail design.
Interesting, I didn’t know that
Thank you man! If you ever get a chance to play bo4 you gotta try ancient evil and IX they are tremendous
I think the rewards post moon have been underwhelming. Once u do the egg it should be a perkaholic that stays even after u down. That should have been the standard post moon
really good video, but i feel like you missed a few key things
der riese is mainly influentual by changing the zombie cap, which previously was 24 zombies per round. now, it scaled infinitely
i think the competitive community should've been mentioned more and been one the groups you mentioned, it's huge and made up of high round players and speedrunners.
@@boasyV2 hmm, didn’t know that, thank you!
"ogs" are basically old ass casuals
😹😹
Personally I disagree that die maschine and mauer give terminus a run for its money. I don’t think those two maps are bad or anything. I just think terminus is underrated. Terminus is for sure a top 10 map and it’s really not getting enough recognition due to liberty falls being free for casuals and everyone camo grinding on liberty falls. Kind of a shame so many people are missing out on this amazing map.
Interesting, that’s a fair take. As you saw in the videos terminus is really only a top 20 or maybe top 15 map for me
Bruh the “The og’s” and “Easter egg” eras are basically the same. The community wants a none guided very hard Easter with some vibrant colors but still dark and scary in a sense.
Make your own video smarty pants
Didn't know there was a bird death cutscene 👍
Looks like you gotta die to the birds now
i too like the birds
I want to see the meatballs but I want then to be able to float on water.
That's a Big if, but hopefully
Havent played zombies this much since BO2
50k + by end of next year i’m calling it
That’s the goalll
Hopefully they make another 1st person dead ops. That was goated in cw

You are so underrated bro, great video but I disagree with you on terminus being the most important map in history, although i agree on some points you said, i don’t think it deserves 8.1/10 im just curious what are your top 10 maps of all time if you don’t mind
I don’t have a top 10 off the top, but Shadows, DE, Origins, call of the dead, verruct, ancient evil, IX, Gorod are among my favorites
Thank you for the support!
@@RadicalQuail you are a man of good taste Radical, verruckt is odd but the others are all valid 👑. Keep making content brother hope you make it big
My top are :
shangri la
moon
origins
Shadow
DE
Zetsbu
Gorod
IX
Ancient evil
And my most beloved map in bo4 is DEAD OF THE NIGHT
Anything after bo4 i really didn’t enjoy as much as these 10 tbh
@ thank you! That’s a great list for sure. Many more videos to come 🤝
@@RadicalQuail ill be waiting 🙏
Interesting
Imo I think revelations was the most important map ever made simply because blundell chose to not have it be the Great War map and postponed it and we never got in the end due to activision losing faith in bo4 (sadly, I love bo4)
And yes the Great War should have been the last map for the old story and they should have started fresh like chaos
I see what your saying, and I'd agree that rev should have been the most important map, but the redirection stopped it from being that, instead it was just a pretty good map to end a great game.
You got a sub 👊🏾
Thank you!! New video coming soon!
@@RadicalQuail nice I'll be looking out
Best Map since Der Eisendrache imo
Based
@@l.s.colstonmusic5099 wow, that’s dope, there quite a few since then that I prefer tho
We had origins, nowcwe have the Tomb on its way
I’ve got a feeling you will be saying you’ve seen the asthetic done before about citadel.
So far from the pictures it doesn’t really look like anything we’ve gotten before but I could be wrong, DE has a completely different palette
Terminus is a pretty good map
for me bo6 just lacks map specific mechanics, yes the boats are fun but it doesn't change the gameplay loop much. Think of origins staffs, robots, challenges and tank, MOTDs afterlife and hells retriever, buried with Arthur (or Leroy), witches and time bombs, moon with excavators, PES, hacker and moon gravity and to a certain extent shangs tiles and eclipse mode.
We need a der reise remaster on bo6 come on
Good stuff
