What I loved about Chaos is how the story felt like it had a mix of the best parts from the Jimmy and Blundell eras. Rooted in real world myths and conspiracy mixed together with mythical and magical aspects. Like the original storyline up to Moon, it felt like it could realistically exist within our world. Chaos also had the benefit of being able to be as crazy as Bo3 without needing multiverses and different timelines.
This story is so interesting I wish they never discontinued it. Yes we are getting a type of continuation in bo6 I just hope it really explores the order and more lore about prima materia, etc
Chaos never got its chance to really get going which is so sad. It was a great time to introduce the new story as Aether was really just treading water trying to avoid a definitive ending. The mythology aspect and historical setting was to me much more interesting an idea in concept than Aether was. If it had bo3 mechanics more people would have liked it
this is my theory for to do with Alistair/chaos Krafft calls Alistair a amateur demonologist cause the artifacts were not found, but that doesn't mean he wasn't still a big archaeologist in this universe and is called a amateur demonologist because of being turned to stone last we saw him next the some cultist in BO4 and the artifacts were never proven to exist by Alistair, so people like krafft thought him a amateur. but i wonder if Scarlet could be involved with the BO6 story somehow, cause now im wondering if maybe the chaos universe is the new universe that we got from what Nikolai did when he banished everything to the dark aether and made one new universe.

Haven't finished watching but i want to post this as a possible theory. Since swords are supposed to be Wonder Weapons what if you wield Excalibur. Easter Eggs and side EE make references to like Knights Templar, Joan of Arc, Freemason. I'm reaching but these just popped into my head
I hated the idea at first and then I played some of the chaos and I actually enjoyed it. I was just a little sad that they couldn’t find a way to connect it and now they found a way to connect, which makes me actually appreciate this a little bit more.
Another question since she just put on their mask is it far fetched to say she could actually be the founder of the cult and since the zombies eyes are yellow and hers are yellow when she turns into her true form does that mean she’s the actual final boss or mastermind of the whole chaos story?
The thing I’m most excited about the chaos story coming back is the potential of multiple different conflicting magic/science elements existing in one story it’s what makes marvel and DC comics so fun and it’s the best part of zombies literally anything can happen everything is real and it wants to kill you it makes the world feel so much more dangerous despite the outbreaks feeling so tame in modern zombies because of how localized they are the fact that the world is full of weird magic robots monsters shady organizations etc makes the world feel dangerous which is great

The symbols in Chaos story line cutscen after the reincarnation are the same symbols u use in citedel easter egg opening up the panel with the 4 pages,could be a teaser!!!
What if at the end of the aether story when we broke the loop we didn't only make the new world sam and Eddie when to and the dark aether realm but the chos world and the dark aether realm is a bridge between the two world one of order and science and one of fate and magic hence why the choas story line world so chaotic. And the shadow man and dr monty might have fuse in to one being ( could be they were originally one being) known as jauns
They only thing I hope doesn’t come back is the plane Jane god designs make them weird Aether old ones not just boring greek myths. Personally I hope they don’t even talk they appear more like the monster in the Netflix movie the ritual this horrible demonic representation of an old god. Like give us biblically accurate angels and other worldly beings unknown by humans that just happened to have been worshiped by them in the past but don’t actually care about them

i never had bo4 and when i got back into bo1 bo2 and bo3 i thought about getting into bo4 but some people cough cough tim hanson cough cough shat on the story and game so hard i genuinely spent 5 months debating if i even wanted to buy the game eventually i did and damn what a goated story and setting
But you said it your self he was a world famous archaeologist not demonology it could be the same men he just is a world famous archaeologist and a lesser renound demonology after all archaeology and demonology tend to go hand in hand its just very few people belive in demonology they tend to thing those who study demonology are nutters while those who study archaeology are seen as scholars whitch is a shame because if you study both and find yourself needing both you may just survive
