The orange wire is (illumination) this is so when you put the head lights on it dims the stereo display so the bright display on the stereo is not distracting.
I have a question regarding Citreon C4, car Stereo change. I would like to know, if change my car sterio(Sony sony DSX A400), will my steering controls will work(Volume Up and Down, Track change, Play/Pause)?
Because my steering wheel has functions, With existing Citroen RD4 radio, I can control my music functions with steering wheel controls, but If I change it to any other steerio, will I able to use the controls or not?

Hi good tuitional video..can i ask if the volume controls etc still work via the steering coloum control stick and also does the c3 multi function dispaly still show what radio channel etc your on via the newly fitted radio..cheers garry

No for that you need to buy an expensive adapter from connect 2

Hi...The blue wire on the aerial adapter needs to be connected to 12 volts because the aerial on the C3 has an amplifier built it.If you don't conect that wire your reception will be poor.

Why do you have background music? Can't understand a word of what you're saying.
I did this with an after-market radio and now my car will not start. The effects are weird in that the engine turns over, the wipers come on as do the lights and I can't turn them off.
And the video of the wireless charging installation?
I upgraded my C3 Picasso radio to a nice Pioneer with Bluetooth, DAB and all that, but now i can't alter my car's time display, any way to do it without the standard stereo?

You will need to keep the original stereo to change certain things like date, time and kph to mph

This guy is inexperienced, the extra antenna adapter he installed was not required the blue wire off the 1st antenna adapter he installed has the blue wire that should be connected to the blue wire on the stereo harness (remote) or to an ignition source, anyone that requires any advice contact me or refer to my many TH-cam videos

You may have got it to work, but that was the worst installation I've ever witnessed. You seem very opinionated with little knowledge. Good luck to your car battery without a switch live connection. Also learn to value people's time. I feel sorry for the person you sold that car too
sorry don,t get it, you say up grade but it not, the one in the car is much better. you,ve lost all the functions, sorry but that a down grade.
