Perfect review for an amazing game! If I had to pick one favorite game of all time, Devil's Crush would be it. I still play this game on the Virtual Console. A true timeless classic!
@chaosgreyblood I think there have only been a few 5-chippers (to me the best-of-the-best in that genre, you know?). But....ironically, we have a few coming up so, I'm having FUN playing games now. Ha ha. :) Yes, I am quite a Pinhead! Thanks for watching!
Great review! I've been slowly going through your older videos and had wondered what you thought about this one. I'm going backwards in time so I haven't gotten to your Alien Crush review yet. But I do like how video pinball can do things that real pinball can't like having monsters walking around on the playfield and whatnot. Also, have you tried Hyper 3D Pinball on the Saturn? Supposedly the physics are incredibly accurate. I love it, though I still have more fun with Devil's Crush.
@Kirtatas Thanks my friend. Yes, Castlevania will DEFINITELY be an "import" review of some kind. It was one of the few PC-Engine games I had as a kid....of one of my favorite series ever! :) Thanks for watching!
I went out of my way last year in order to get my hands on this game when it was released on the PSN in Japan just so I could play it on my PSP anywhere! Love it!
I am surprised no one mentioned Jaki Crush, from Naxat as well, it's also pretty solid and fun as pinball game, but it's virtually unknown. It's a SNES game so it's a bit out of scope, but I'd recommend it if you liked Alien and Devil Crush.
1:16 - Thanks for clarifying these weirdos! I've always thought they were demonic football players due to their hard-to-read sprites ever since childhood! 🤣
That is a good question. For me...that has A LOT to do with it since I am such a pinball nut. You know? I can tell when something feel really really off. But, to someone who isn't really into the physical game, maybe the "simulation" part won't really be a crucial to them? Thanks for watching.
I adore this game. One of the top games for the turbo grafx. Also, I stumbled across a game for the Sega Genesis, called Dragon's curse. It was published by Atari's Tengen label. It is a complete remake of this game. However the graphics are better on the Turbo grafx. It was just something I thought you might have found interesting.
One of the best video game pinball games ever made.Still i get annoyed on how some fans put devil crush on a pedestal spida1a.Then and act like devil crush only counts and not other pinball video games.By the way ever play the third game in this trilogy ? I'm talking about jaki crush for the snes it takes japanese mythology as it's theme.
I don't dig Alien crush, but Devil is a near perfect game. It's the only game I really love playing on the turbo 16. I need to find more games that are just as worthy. Does anyone know how many games they made just for the turbo 16 in north america? I just started collecting for this system last year. Great video!!!
to quote Will Smith from one of his movies: I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!!!! I think I saw this game in another variation on someone else's channel but I seriously am thinking of tracking down a TG-16 one of these days and this looks like a good game to start with awesome review man! Keep them coming
Just to let you know, you can also achieve a different color ball beyond blue (a red/orange color)..that would double / double from blue ...so i guess that would be octo? anyway, it also will help getting a high score as well. They way "I"achieved this is by getting the blue ball by beating a bonus stage and then going directly into another bonus stage and beating that one as well giving you a different color ball....
Excellent review Chris, Naxatsoft have produced some of the most amazing turbo games overall and this is one of my favourites, I guess it must help knowing a bit about the real game, I would love to get into pinball but these days....yeah, it's easier to own a machine than try and find one out there!!
@Retrocool74 Yup Retro is right, you can achieve an orange ball...but did you know that you can also achieve a pink ball!? I don't know how I did it but I have a print screen to prove it =) (playing on Turbo Engine emulator)
Chris, you are the man! I got this game about a month ago, and the only thing that has kept me away from it is another game for the PC Engine...Parodius! I hope you review that one sometime in the future. BTW-I actually got to play The Simpsons pinball machine the other day at Cici's pizza. It was fantastic! I hope you've played this one because you're missing out on a true gem if you haven't. Also, I accidentally hit "thumbs down" above when I was rating your vid. Sorries :(
devils crush the best game even for todays time we have this game and even today is so awesome to play it the game card was so thing and not just that but even the other games my stinking brother was so good playing this game but he put away the freaking game away every freaking time so he only allow me to play it do no be fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the best game
hehe...blue balls...hehe This really is a great game and it's nice to get a pinball collector's perspective on it. Oh, and I know what you mean about not being able to stay on the top of the board. ugh. heh
@Taurutaos5 Ha ha. Oh....there are still 100 some games to go. I'm sure we'll get to more horrible games along the way. Lol! I try to like most games. You know? I really try to enjoy myself with everything. It's tough sometime though. :) I don't collect too many PC-Engine titles, but I'll take a look at Panic Bomber. It looks fun!
this game scares the crap out of me, the music is so intense and sinister that it creates a mood that basically says "you're in hell, you're fucked, welcome to the ultimate nightmare" that creepy ass morphing demon face in the middle, as well as the laughing skull, sure as hell don't help matters.
I downloaded this on the Wii because of your review! Reminds me of the old NES Pinball I used to crack out on (except with more Satan). Thanx Spida- man! But . . . what does it mean when you get red balls???
Not sure if you’re already aware, but Naxat and Compile put out one last Crush game in the 4th console generation, Jaki Crush for Super Famicom, which sadly never came stateside. It’s a three level Japanese hell themed table. I like the Devil’s Crash table a bit better, but I feel like Jaki Crush is more interesting than Alien Crush.
this reminds me of rollerball but that had 4 screens and it didn't have all this awesome variety but I was able to get 2 million points with 1 ball on that and the 1 time I played devil's crush I SUCKED a lot.
Nice review! Although you could have mentioned that the Japanese version has a pentagram at the top instead of an eight-pointed star. It was believed that explicit Satanistic imagery wouldn't sit well with American audiences, but the popularity of DOOM suggests otherwise.
Perfect review for an amazing game! If I had to pick one favorite game of all time, Devil's Crush would be it. I still play this game on the Virtual Console. A true timeless classic!
This game is a classic, even people that have not interest in pinball should play it
This game is in my personal top 10 games of all time. It's perfect.
@chaosgreyblood I think there have only been a few 5-chippers (to me the best-of-the-best in that genre, you know?). But....ironically, we have a few coming up so, I'm having FUN playing games now. Ha ha. :)

I love this game, it is still one of my all time favourite pinball video games.
I've been listening to the theme for years and still love it.
@Kirtatas Thanks my friend. Yes, Castlevania will DEFINITELY be an "import" review of some kind. It was one of the few PC-Engine games I had as a kid....of one of my favorite series ever! :)
Thanks for watching!
I went out of my way last year in order to get my hands on this game when it was released on the PSN in Japan just so I could play it on my PSP anywhere! Love it!
The left flipper on the d-pad was ALWAYS wonky.
Love, love, love this game. My favorite video pinball game.
One of the best video game pinball games ever made, hands down.
Amen

Definitely. Thanks for watching!

@CEdwardson Yes I did. I loved Sonic Spinball. They did a great job with that one.
Thanks for watching!
My favorite video game of all time.
Ha ha. Indeed. Thanks for watching!
@Evilclown1986 You got it my friend. Thanks for watching!
Heck yes! I love this game. Another example of the Tg-16 having the coolest sounding audio chipset IMO
My top 2 games for the TG16. Aero Blasters and Devil's Crush. Oh and World Class Baseball.
One of my fave TG16 games. THE CRUSHEL!
@Masteroftuba3 Hey, thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Have a good one!
@NadrianATRS Ha ha. You don't know me very well I guess. :)
Thanks for watching!
Chris, I usually look forward to your real pinball reviews, but I can see the passion you have for this game! Thanks for another great review!!
@Retrocool74 I liked Time Cruise. Yes. We'll get to that one eventually. Ha ha.
Thanks for watching!
@brunoafh123 I know! Ugh, I wish I had that kind of time today. Ha ha.
Thanks for watching!
@hobocamptheater Oh my...my first game of DC back in the day...I think I got a negative score somehow. Ha ha! :)
Thanks for watching!
I did play Hyper 3D! It was fun! Thanks for watching!
@123Sideshow You know...I left the "ball" jokes out of Chew-Man-Fu! And it was TOUGH! So.....they're back. Ha ha!
Thanks for watching!

@tryton1000 I try to have a passion with everything I do. What else is there in life? Ha ha! :)
Thanks for watching my friend!
Awesome review man! A few of us got together last weekend to play Devil's Crush and drink our faces off. It was a blast! Devil's Crush ftw :D
@ZonksofThunder I haven't played the remakes at all really. You know? So, I can't comment. Sorry. :(
Thanks for watching my friend!
Excellent review. It's such a great game - and still delivers a fun experience.
Yay its finally here. I love you. This is my favourite tg16 game.
Great review of one of my all time favourite games!
@starsoldier1 Yeah, same here. Thanks my friend!
Always loved these video Pinball games!
Tee hee. : )Thanks for watching!
one of my favorites of all time!
Wow, the first 5-chip game review I've seen. It's pretty good; you're obviously a pinball maniac, aren't you?
@naikanomtom Thanks a ton!
I don't dig Alien crush, but Devil is a near perfect game. It's the only game I really love playing on the turbo 16. I need to find more games that are just as worthy. Does anyone know how many games they made just for the turbo 16 in north america?
I just started collecting for this system last year. Great video!!!
Wow i really need to play this!
I wish that it was on the turbogarfx-16 mini it would be killer dude. 😀👍🎮🤘🎸
Yes, this game is awesome. One of my favorites. Even better if you have a Turbo Duo so you can save your high scores and not bother with passwords.
to quote Will Smith from one of his movies:
I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!!!!
I think I saw this game in another variation on someone else's channel but I seriously am thinking of tracking down a TG-16 one of these days and this looks like a good game to start with
awesome review man! Keep them coming
@bozzifilm Chris, himself, told us in his early reviews. He said there are 138.
Great review. Thanks! I've somehow missed your channel until now, but consider me subbed. :)
Such a great series of games... I am glad it got the perfect score; thats what I would give it.
@spida1a I didn't get rich by signing a lot of checks!
And I just noticed its on the virtual console, I'll go with that version.
@TheMathius78 The Stern "Simpsons Pinball Party"? If so....yes. It is an excellent game! Thanks
love alien crush i will think about getting it
Excellent review Chris, Naxatsoft have produced some of the most amazing turbo games overall and this is one of my favourites, I guess it must help knowing a bit about the real game, I would love to get into pinball but these days....yeah, it's easier to own a machine than try and find one out there!!
"i've never been this excited to achieve blue balls" LMAO
Fantastic game! One of my all time favorites and i still need a copy of it for my T-16 lol. Great video as always Chris. : )
the only video game my mom ever played!!!!
Great review. I really should get this one too.
Damn...i am getting this soon as possible for my pc engine.
@Retrocool74 Yup Retro is right, you can achieve an orange ball...but did you know that you can also achieve a pink ball!? I don't know how I did it but I have a print screen to prove it =) (playing on Turbo Engine emulator)
Great review on a great game. It's hard but I guess that's why I like it better then Alien Crush and Time Cruise.
Chris, you are the man! I got this game about a month ago, and the only thing that has kept me away from it is another game for the PC Engine...Parodius! Thank you so much for this review! :) I love all of them!!

I see a glitch at 1:55 look at the skull
Are you referring to when the eye disappears?
hehe...blue balls...hehe
This really is a great game and it's nice to get a pinball collector's perspective on it. Oh, and I know what you mean about not being able to stay on the top of the board. ugh. heh
3:27 "Man, I have never been this excited to achieve.." .. LOL..
6:25 "Wait, what?" Skull: "MUAHAHAHAHAH"
Lol. Great work!
YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!! I love pinball, great review!!! how affordable is this game?
Awesome review,thanks Chris
@bartsimpson83 I always thought it was a little more difficult, yeah. Ha ha.
@Taurutaos5 Ha ha. Oh....there are still 100 some games to go. I'm sure we'll get to more horrible games along the way. Lol!
I try to like most games. You know? I really try to enjoy myself with everything. It's tough sometime though. :)
I don't collect too many PC-Engine titles, but I'll take a look at Panic Bomber. It looks fun!
@Bylga I think you'll like it. I did. :) :)

Nice review!
Have you ever played Sonic Spinball for the genesis? That was probably one of my favourite video pinball games!
It looks a lot like Super C alien's top down level.
Wait what ? Blueballs? NOESSSSSS
I downloaded this on the Wii because of your review! Reminds me of the old NES Pinball I used to crack out on (except with more Satan). Thanx Spida- man! But . . . what does it mean when you get red balls???
Great review.

Great review Chris...they should have had you on the original marketing team...."we recommend this for everyone who has blue balls"....lol.
@JamesmanXtreme Ugh! Screw that skull!!!!!!!
@Evilclown1986 I would watch my review of AC! It's in the Playlist. Answer? Yes! :) :)
this reminds me of rollerball but that had 4 screens and it didn't have all this awesome variety but I was able to get 2 million points with 1 ball on that and the 1 time I played devil's crush I SUCKED a lot.
"Screw you skull!"
"Screw yo, SCREW YOU SKULL!!" D<
Just the way you portrayed that made me chuckle a bit. xD
I got this game on virtual console! Would you recommend Alien crush as well?
@spida1a xDDD
yeah, I hated that skull too. I actually have this on my Wii so I know the pain you went through xP
@niker411 Nope! :)
@futurematt5 Totaly! :) :)
Oh yeah... did you like time cruise pinball?
Password: DAVIDWHITE to see the ending of the game
ha ha ha nice jobe this old game is good
Nice review! Although you could have mentioned that the Japanese version has a pentagram at the top instead of an eight-pointed star. It was believed that explicit Satanistic imagery wouldn't sit well with American audiences, but the popularity of DOOM suggests otherwise.
I wonder If I play it long enough i can go blind and become the pinball wizard?
Ha ha. :)
@MrMoneyclips Dude, you're Mr. Money Clips. What do you care? Ha ha!!
I'm not sure. Check Ebay. I don't think it goes for as much as it used to. :)
can you make a review about castlevania rondo of blood?
oh and i have to say that it was an awesome review
Blue balls ^___^
