The Matrix, Inception, Bleach, The N.B.A Finals '21, and a Fallout game animated movie that shows what happens to the entire post apocalyptic planet and the warring factions within(canon Legion vs NCR).
I have loved "What if.." for the darkness of it's many time lines. It's a great way to look into the creepy corners of Marvel.
Also.... thank you for that Juggernaut story. I've never heard that one before.
I pray you've been enjoying the animated series as well. It's got depth

I bought that Juggernaut What If back in the day and thought it was a great story, and still own it to this day.

@@maddogkilla1 because the power varies. He started small and grew over the years. At full power he is unstoppable but using his power for stupid things he is weaker. He is meant to destroy things.
Pretty much doom pulled a doctor octopus and stole strange’s body.
And just a few years later he can do this with no tech besides what's inside his toasted armor, in seconds, while completely disabled and watching a massive attack approaching that will completely kill him.
Sentry is the most OP guy, gets killed instantly by Knull lol

The one at the end was my favorite, it was way more humble than the others in that the world wasn't going to end or anything but it was still very touching.

@@SpektakOne I feel like having a continuity in comics is just confusing and the stories get stale. They should just tell cool stories wither it is one issue or many.
The funny thing about What If stories is they're often more realistic and believable than what we actually get in the mainline Marvel and DC comics. And not only that, but they're often far better, improving the schlock we tend to get with current comics.
For example, 'Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?' to me is one of the greatest superhero comics of all time, and that's a What If comic. Another example of a great What If comic is a post-Civil War comic that showed Tony Stark an alternate future where the Superhuman Registration Act was never passed, and the world is in an era of unprecedented peace, to the point where Tony actually wept at what he gave up when he supported that bill.
It's interesting to note that in many of the "what if" stories, when the chips are down, Magneto stops caring about who is who and tries to save as many people as he can.
Charles is right about him, deep down he's a good person, he's just misguided.
Misguided? Magneto is always proven right in the end in all comic books.

Magneto is usually proven to be right but often goes to very extreme dark places trying to do good for his people and family. Though like op said in lots of the what if stories or darker storylines magneto is one to stop worrying about picking mutants or humans and just tries to help anyone he's able. . It kinda sucks how few people know that his character is like that.
Doom removing Dr. Strange hands reminds me of Futurerama when the Robot Devil took Fry's hands!
One of the best stories I ever read was Alan Moore's whatever happened to the man of tomorrow in his opening prologue he explains that the stroy does not fit in the Canon it is an imaginary story a dream he finishes his prologue by saying this is an imaginary story aren't they all? That actually let me just read the story and enjoy it. I feel the same way about Marvel's What if...storys.
Whatever happened to the caped crusader was another good one. Especially the story that ends on goodnight moon.

I love a good what if, because nothing is off limits and anything can happen.
I mean really Hank Pym had one really big emotional breakdown that lasted pretty much through the 80s, but that was really it. My man Hank gets such a bad rep, and before you say he deserves it. Understand that the incident was a mistake done by the artist that had been retconned 3 times after writers who didn't bother to do their homework brought it up again.

@@kemj9 They retconned him hitting Jan, because he was under the influence of Kang in The Crossing, then they said it was because he was uder the influence of Ultron in the 2000s in Ultron Unlimited. Then finally it turned out he was being manipulated by Immortus. This was all before Civil War.

If Reed Richards didn’t have to have Charles Xavier and Uatu the Watcher step in to stop him from going crazy with the Gauntlet during Illuminati, he’d still be a chronically horrible father. Hank Pym is a misunderstood genius and I’m not trying to cancel him by any means, but Jan is far, far away from the only realm he’s jacked up in life. Ultron was a failure of overzealous idealism; almost all of the other stuff related to him traces back to Hank too for other reasons; and Civil War is a great salient example of him screwing up in a way that didn’t have a massive amount to do with that writer’s miscommunication.

I'm the same way. I never read comics as a kid. Benny (Comicstorian, but I'm sure you know that) and Rob have gotten me into comics in my late 20s. I had 0 comic books at 25 now I have over 100 at 28.

My personal favorite kill was Wolverine. Man, I hated that guy. At least in the 90s and beyond.
My favorite was Wolverine becoming "War", going nuts and murdering the piss out of Apocalypse and then everybody else. then, just vanishing,FF to the future and he's in a monastic order, giving advice to a young cop in the "war watch", which is a kind of police force created as a societal response to wolverine's wholesale mayhem. it's a MOSTLY peaceful future

The marvel zombies was pretty clean though. They turned it into a generic zombie apocalypse rather than superhero zombies that exterminated the earth. They kept the T'chala bit though, sort of lol.

Loved that one! They were buddies for awhile until Thor regained his memory.

This was pretty good compilation. You shoukd do some of those original What If stories from the 70s and 80s
Hulk is my favorite hero. I love the fact the writers of civil war couldnt think of a way to have him be in civil war without irrevocably tipping the scales they asked for him to be removed. I’m so glad they did. World war hulk is one of my favorite books i’ve ever bought, and is my favorite hulk story.
