    Right. I use a knee hi stocking at the end of my drainage hoes. The amounts of lint that thing catches and along with lint traper is crazy!

    Great review. I'm torn because I wash my bed sheets, towels and washcloths in hot water. Everything cannot be washed in cold water, so I may have to hunt for a washer that allows hot water to be used. This machine seems to work ok. I just need more options. Thanks again ❤️

      Why do you use hot water? If it's moldy you can plug your sink, put your towell in it, turn on the hot water, add baking soda and detergent and let it marinade, lol. Then throw it in the black and decker portable wet. The hot action of demolding it would have been done. The hard part is ringing it out. So the black and decker will handle that on the cold cycle. You doing some only fans stuff if u need to wash all ur stuff in hot water and bleach every time, lol.

      To use hot water, just detached the hose from the quick connect on the water outlet, open the hot water valve and run the water. When the water is sufficiently hot enough, shut off the hot water valve. Re-attached the hose to the quick connect, then open the hot water valve all the way.
      On the washing machine, set the the machine to cold. Do the rest of the desired settings and then wash away.

      She can easily use hot water with the machine she has. She just needs to re-read that part of her instruction manual again to learn how to do it.

      I think they have a larger size that allows for hot water. I wash everything in cool water and don't have any issues. To each their own.

    Cleanliness is a big issue with me.
    Public laundromats are not regularly cleaned by the owner, especially the 24-hour ones we have here in new york. You basically washing your clothes, dna, waste with others. My electric bill is a bit higher but its worth every penny.

    • @jesusmywholehaschanged
      @jesusmywholehaschanged ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And the clothes don't smell fresh without laundry additives. I have sensitive skin and like to keep things simple. With regular he laundry detergent and a little oxiclean, I have clean fresh smelling clothes.

    Great info, thank you for the follow up. It's so hard choosing between the brands, Black + Decker looks solid. I like to prefill my washer with water/soap/oxyclean too, would it be possible to just set it to medium for the prefill then add the clothes and switch it to large load so there would be less chance of overflow? Also, I wonder why they even include a "Hot" hose when they say you can't use hot/warm water?

    • @inspiraychanel
      @inspiraychanel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching I thought I responded to this weeks ago! My apologies. But yes, good suggestion about switching load sizes to avoid overflow, however with this black and decker you can’t change program settings once they’re set.But it does offer a pause button so,yes, you can pause it medium level to fill washer and prevent overflow and press “play” to resume if you wish. Whynt I think of that?😊 and yes the option for hot water would be a game changer!

      It don't matter which brand you chose, as they are all identical and the reason why they are all identical is because they are all made by Medea Corporation of China for all the various brands.
      Hence, if you want to save money, just buy whatever brand has the best deal at the time. As the only difference between machines is the brand badging. Nonetheless, the machines themselves are all identical.

    You should probably attach a lint filter on the end of the hose. I have a portable one and you will be surprised how much lint comes out.

      It’s so smooth and you have the option to choose the number of minutes it spins and it doesn’t require much time. So no worries. I imagine if they heard anything it would be a white noise type of vibration. Nothing “complain-able”

    Hi, awesome review! Can I pour water from a bucket directly into the washer rather than using the hose?

    • @inspiraychanel
      @inspiraychanel  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely you can! I've actually been doing that because I sprung a leak in my inlet hose. You just have to refill your wash basin when the water expels before the rinse cycle, but it can be done! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!!!!

  • @Luke91633

    I considering getting one . But I would be able to bucket fill with water and drain into a bucket. Not sure how much water to use to do that ?

    • @inspiraychanel
      @inspiraychanel  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can def fill with a bucket but I wouldn't recommend draining in one. The drainage hose included is long enough to expel water directly into the sink. As far as how much to fill in the wash , there are different levels(1-2-3) and the washer won't start until it reaches your selected level so you shouldn't need to worry about underfilling. Just be sure to monitor it if you fill to capacity, so it won't overflow, but you should be fine. I'm actually manually filling myself. But you must be sure to be around when it drains to monitor it because it's automatic,and filling it manually means you have to refill for the rinse cycle. More work, but can be done!

      Do you still have a problem? Does the stream of water coming into the machine look like a waterfall or a few drips or streams? It could be water pressure.
      Also, is the hose for the dirty water attached to the correct slot in the back (about waist height) or is it lower? I had an issue where the water would drain out as soon as it went in. The hose was too low and the gravity was pulling the water out. Once I attached it to the back of the machine where the hose goes, I haven't had issues with water levels.

    wonder what would happen if you used hot water

    • @inspiraychanel
      @inspiraychanel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe The manufacturer said that if could damage some valve that could cause leaking over time. I don’t want to chance it, but I do miss hot water for my clothes!

    • @bullfrog5037

      She can easily use hot water, but because she is using only one inlet hose to connect to an installed quick connect on the water faucet with the other end of the inlet hose connected to the cold inlet on the machine, she needs to have her setting on the washing machine set to cold only. However, she can then use the sink's hot and cold water valves to regulate the water temperature to hot, warm, or cold as she pleases.
      Meanwhile, these portable washing machines are also all shipped with two inlet hoses in the event some customers can connect their washers to regular washer connections.
      In other words, one inlet hose would be screwed into the hot water inlet on the washing machine and the other end of the hose would be screwed into the hot water side and the other inlet hose would be screwed into the cold water inlet on the washing machine and the other end screwed into the cold water side. Then the drain hose coming out of the machine would be place inside the regular washing machine hookup drain outlet. As there would be no sink involved in such a hookup.
      In that case, if you wanted to do a hot, warm, or cold wash, as opposed to using the water valves on a sink to regulate the temperature of the water, you would instead set the settings on the washing machine itself to do a hot, warm, or cold wash, and the machine will wash according to the temperature you set on the washing machine itself. In other words, the machine would regulate the temperature per your desired setting on the washing machine.
      Now, if she wants to use hot water with the machine connected to a quick connect on a single water faucet. Then before she connects the inlet hose to the quick connect on the water faucet, she should open the hot water valve and then run the water until the water is sufficiently hot. Then once the water is sufficiently hot, she should close the hot water valve. Then connect the inlet hose to the quick connect on the water faucet, then open the hot water valve wide open.
      When she starts her wash cycle, hot water will flow into the machine and the wash job will be done with hot water.

    How do your clothes become clean if it’s only cold water??

    • @inspiraychanel
      @inspiraychanel  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good question because I never would wash clothes in cold water before unless instructed by the tag on specific articles of clothing. Always warm or hot. And it’s true that sanitizing materials in cold water may not be as beneficial as warm/hot but there are laundry sanitizer detergent like Clorox which kills bacteria to combat that. Cold water also helps in keeping the integrity of the clothing item, ie size and shape, and is also much more energy efficient. Thanks for watching!

    • @sirretheapitts4318
      @sirretheapitts4318 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use laundry sanitizer with the cold water for towels and white.

    • @bullfrog5037
      @bullfrog5037 ปีที่แล้ว

      She doesn't just have to necessarily use cold water with the machine she is using. She just needs to re-read her instructions to learn how to set the water temperature at the sinks hot and cold water values.
      With a single inlet water hose screwed into the machine and then the other end connected to a quick connect, she can regulate the temperature using the hot and cold water values on the sink.
      If she use both hoses that came with the machine to connect to regular washer connections, then she can regulate the water temperature via the controls on the machine.

    • @inspiraychanel
      @inspiraychanel  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No ma’am. The adapter for your faucet is very secure when placed properly and the connecting hose to your machine should be tightened to a firm state with a wrench. The drainage hose doesn’t leak. However, If you place your items in after the drum is full of water and soap, there may be overflow and you’ll see the water on the floor if you don’t dip the clothes in gently .Just use caution if you load that way and it’s great
