If you do any of these you should sell them. It's all common sense, which isn't so common. I never had anyone teach me how to use one. I was handed one with gloves and glasses and told to get at it. It's all common sense, take the disc off properly inspect tool. Don reach over head one handed. If you have a grinder and Sparks are coming directly in your face that's a good sign of natural selection taking place. Who the hell grinds with the guard aimed at their face. Or seriously cut into a gas line in a operation factory. Lock out tag procedures and many people would be involved depressurizing and clearing the lines
My favorite power tool of all time Is the angle grinder... I can fabricate, cut, sand, grind metal, concrete, wood masonry tile... Etc... Use it on my car, or motorcycle or home projects.. or industry for Metal/welding etc... Best power tool I own is my angle grinder...
Really well done and informative! Admittedly I'm new to power tools, bringing me to your videos. My nexy door neighbor caught the FOREST on fire cutting apart old cars he had in his barn. Now I see how!
First thing - Loose the gloves or loose a finger. NO GLOVES AROUND ROTATING MACHINERY - It better to have a couple of stitches in your thumb then to have no thumb to put stitches in!
Notice he uses a high end model as well. All the stuff that can go wrong with a canadian tire model and their grinding medium can be much more hazardous! They are good at first or for lighter jobs at home. I used mine to remove an aluminium rim off my car as a last resort. Underpowered and bad gearing, combined with a few years of corrosion, caused the gears or the stop lock to wear, causing the nut to untighten and the wheel and the two nuts went flying down the driveway... The dewalt I had finished the brutal job. I tried the motomaster again tightening it really well, and just turned it on and listened to the gears strip away in an instant it seemed, motor now runs free of the spindle lol... Careful for this, keep them lubricated and properly stored. Also discs can shatter into pieces especially cutting discs!! keep that guard on like he shows you nice and tight!! Face mask may even be a good precaution. Thanks for the great video!! Still learned some things after all my years!
Had to laugh at how reckless he handles that enormous grinder on purpose to demonstrate the dangerous situations 😂 Like 6:39 lol. And the intro of course is hilarious. I'm glad to see that most topics are common sense. 7:56 was actually dangerous, even for a joke..
And most importantly, unplug it when ever you're going away from it, even for a few minutes, because you wouldn't want a dangerous tool ready to be used or turned on by anything..., Yes, I didn't say anyone, I said ANYTHING.
And the number one tip not mentioned in this video: wear a face mask (visor) in addition to eye protection (goggles)! If the disk explodes it can cause real damage to the face. Also, eye protection alone may be insufficient to prevent sparks from reaching the eyes.
I have 230mm angle grinder I do know how to use amd work with it I just got an 230mm wood cutting blade Its pretty cool but scare the shit out of me when using it although i do use safety measures
Well YT, i know my cutting wheel almost caught my face but no need to nag me about it. Tbh, i got lucky yesterday that my guard was on and was wearing a face shield. Sadly my sheet metal that i was working on didn't make it.
Every Tool is only as safe as the person using it. Common sense should always be most important. Never, ever dig into Material while cutting as schon at the beginning this video and also do not cut so far away from the vice! I recommend that in Future videos the actor in this video wears a full face protection. The thoughts were ment well but clowning around to demonstrate is not to be recommended.
I know this video is meant to be educational but it was stupid to try replicate these potential accidents yourself when there are safer ways to inform others of the dangers. You should leave the bright sparks for the grinder mate
This should be viewed as a real safety training video. Great job!
You saved many people's lives and injuries. Thanks.
OMG! I reckon I'm gonna sell my grinders. Seriously, a very good demo of grinder dangers. Thank you.

What inch of grinder was being used in this video?
looks like a 9"/230mm grinder
Very useful ... thanks for the effort
EXCELLENT VIDEO THANKS FOR YOUR EFFORTS.
This is actually really good.
Thank you sir.
the best i heve ever saw it thankyou
Good job
Thank you for really usefull video, its really helfull to me
A type 41 flat wheel should only be used for cutting, if you are fettling, burring or polishing use a type 42/27 wheel.
Very good job.. Thank you.
Good video, thanks.
Thanks it's very helpful

I have 230mm angle grinder
I do know how to use amd work with it
I just got an 230mm wood cutting blade
Its pretty cool but scare the shit out of me when using it although i do use safety measures
Hello sir
Price ?
This was great. Much thought went into this
Que raro, antes había visto el mismo vídeo en Espwñol...
I hear my 9" whispering grim threats all the time. The company says it's a feature.
Give it time.....
One day you can't hear it anymore......just leave your ear plugs in the toolbox, then it'll sort it self out..😃
You should wear a full face shield instead of only glasses because if the disc comes apart it could get stuck straight in your face
Well YT, i know my cutting wheel almost caught my face but no need to nag me about it. Tbh, i got lucky yesterday that my guard was on and was wearing a face shield. Sadly my sheet metal that i was working on didn't make it.
So pretty much angle grinders aren't that dangerous unless a blade is on it. Gotcha lol.
ขอบคุณครับ
Best technique
Every tool is dangerous in the hands of an unskilled operator.
Ai making ta kinte gele ki korte hobe
I can see the string pulling the grinder
0:23 😁😁😁😁😁😂😂
And that's why I don't have any big grinders, Just too much meat spinning around
We have portable band saws nowadays. So Much Safer
