It broke my heart when she was tearing up and stated that she did not have anyone in her life to tell her these things. I hope she takes Steve’s advice to heart and slows down and focuses on herself.

I had several opportunities for success, travel, experience...but I put someone else before me. You are so lucky to be able to make this decision NOW. If you still love him then talk to him, explain how you have been feeling like you want to learn more about yourself if he loves you he will support you as long as you don't mess him around. You can still work on yourself while you're in a committed relationship, but you need to discuss things with him or you will eventually start to despise him which isn't good for anyone involved. Good luck & congratulations on your beautiful baby, hopefully you can learn more about yourself & grow as a woman with his support but if that isn't possible don't stay because you have a child as they will pick up on it trust me, you can still be amazing parents but if you start to hate each other that affects your child. Take care hun & I hope everything works out for you, you will be fine just remember that 💛 stay safe.

This single phase is important for personal development, actualization and finding your purpose. Work on your relationship with God, yourself and your career. God bless you. Baby, don't settle for less than you're worth! Take this from an older woman who's in her 40's, listen and take to heart what Steve is saying. I'm not taking your side neither your boyfriend's, but this isn't a "relationship". It sounds like you care for him or love him more than he does for you and it's one-sided on your part. You may not want to hear this, but I've been where you've been. You're only 19, baby it's not over. Focus on you and your career. You all are arguing for what? Letting go is easier said than done, but eventually he won't even enter your thoughts. The people who are blaming your weight for this relationship problem, I'd say don't listen to them because if you accept this as a reason why you won't have a successful relationship, you'll miss the person God really has created for you. Your "boyfriend" is showing you how much he respects and cares about you in the way he's treating you. You all are arguing probably because he really wants to break up with you, but maybe doesn't want to come out and say it if he hasn't already. Sounds like you all aren't mature enough to be in a relationship anyway. Maturity has nothing to do with age, it has more to do with how to learn how to handle yourself and situations which comes from experience. I don't want you to think all men are like this and become bitter. Love yourself no matter what, do what's best for you, let God love on you and show you how much you're really the apple of His eye!

I really felt her pain when Steve Harvey said I’m going to talk to you like your my daughter. Right away I felt that pain in her heart not having a parent/Dad to fill that empty spot in her heart.
Please stay strong and stay positive.

When she said he was talking about moving in with her this coming March. I yelled at my cellphone screen "no, you better not. If he's acting like this and talking abou living together, think about how he's going to treat you when y'all cohabitating". Young lady, nope. Concentrate on your education. Once you have that BS., you'll see the people you attract into your life.

Had baby, droped out of college, got married too soon, then the abuse started, I did not get the chance to go back to school at all. I will not blame anyone but myself, I just wish I had the support I needed. Still affects me till this day am 33 now.

Damn 2 to 3 times a day arguing at her age? Oh hell no..run!! 😂...at 19 you're supposed to be having fun and living some of your best life lol. Get rid of the stress that this man is adding to your life and focus on you! Get your education, hit the gym, have fun with your friends, travel. There is so much more to life than being in a relationship..especially one that is a dead end

  • @0r0r0

Don't add more drama in your life than needed, especially at 19. There's enough drama down the road that you actually have to be apart of. Bless this little girl. I hope she dumped him and is living life to the fullest rn!

Steve is absolutely right especially taking the time you have alone to get to know yourself better. At 19 i wasnt sure what i wanted to do so i went to a jc took classes to see what i was good at. Came across welding and found my passion as well as lawn service on the side. Now at 32 im welding for a company making good money as well as have 16 lawns i service. There are some women who are now asking to date me. "Back then you didn't want me, now I'm hot y'all on me."

Learn to love yourself, especially if you didn’t get that from your family. Love YOU as you are, because you are the only person who you are for sure going to be with for the rest of your life.
Don’t work so hard to make something work that isn’t working. And don’t stay with someone who always has to make everything your fault! You deserve love and respect. Let go of what isn’t working, enjoy being young, and then let it find you.

  • @PsoPstrong

Absolutely everything about her story and situation is pure teenage drama that sounds uncomfortably and embarrassingly familiar...oy. Sure don't miss those days.
Listen up, Kid: you gotta stop being in such a hurry to grow up because adulthood isn't going anywhere-it'll be here for the rest of your life and there's plenty of it to go around!-but once your childhood is gone, it's gone forever and all the regrets in the world won't bring it back! Cherish every moment about feeling like the *whole world* is at your feet, and that *nothing* is impossible!
I promise from the bottom of my heart that nothing about grown-up life, or anything, anywhere in the world can make your worries feel as weightless as they are right now, even if you don't yet know just how true that is, and you'll never be as fearless as you are today in this moment!
Live for today, not tomorrow; love yourself instead of loving a stupid boy. 😁😆😋
