Thank you for your thoughts. I took one for a test and I really liked it. There was only 2 things that held me back. I normally only buy Japanese as I believe they have the best product. Better built, better resale value, cheaper parts, cheaper for a mechanic to work on, and the main thing all mechanics will work on them. When I rode it the thing was shaking pretty bad at the bars. It would numb my hands after 30 minutes I would guess. It would probably get better after the first service but I couldn’t risk that. That being said by all the reviews it seems a great bike. It’s a personal thing and so each to their own.
Exactly, each to their own. I can't say I've ever had any shaking through the bars, maybe it was the tyre pressure, or wheel balancing, or something like that.
I had a trk and toured from the west country to Belgium and back in a weekend, and to limerick and back in a weekend, 2up and fully loaded on both. The bike was awesome but I agree you have to plan your overtakes well in advance. I have a tour planned to stelvio and back in the summer and felt it might be too much so traded it in for a multi 1200 which I love, but I do miss the ease and effortless feeling of the trk. Great video, have watched a few others and subbed the channel, it's nice to find a 'real' channel that's honest and wel presented. Cheers, Phil 👍
Thanks Phil 👍 I don't think the TRK could replace my multstrada. They're both great bikes, but obviously the power outputs are very different. Getting your arms pulled out of their sockets by the multi is very addictive 😂
That was close at 11:35 😮 glad nothing happened. Love this format. Looks like a sensible bike this. At least you can use all of its power, unlike with the Ducati. Would be interesting to know the fuel consumption, it probably will go twice as far as the Multistrada on a tank.

I feel it's a bit fat, 227kg wet. Nb a cb500x is 196 for the same engine power
I haven't tried the cb500, I'd like to though, for comparison
i an in the same dilemma. have a multi 1200s. planning for 502x. but could not make my mind. What parameters you considered while opting for trk 502x
The main thing for me was it's size and comfort. The other big plus points are it's fuel economy and looks.
I git same bike
How are you getting on with it?

Yeah, that was too close for comfort, the front wheel just went from under me 😮
It's definitely more economical than the Ducati.
