Riding a powerhouse like this Multistrada Enduro made me realize two things:
-) I don't need more than 50bhp to be happy. But if you give me 160bhp I'll use almost all of it still.
-) According to my opinion these big adventure tourers (even more so their 'road versions') should be the best option to choose when interested in speed and comfort. You're seated incredibly comfortable while having tons of power. Which is a lot more usable for the average Joe like you and me because their engines provide most of its power and torque in lower RPM-levels already. It's just nowhere near as nerve-wracking as constantly trying to keep a high-performance engine up in the high revs in order to get the most out of it. Of course a sports bike has better working suspension but the stuff they use in GS and Multistrada these days is so damn sophisticated too that it's performing more than well enough for road use. Even more so since on the open road we always ride with reserves and never near our actual limits.
A bike like the Multistrada provides tons of comfort, lots of usable power, a competitive suspension, and all of this while being relatively easy to handle at the same time. In my eyes bikes like the Multi, the big GS, KTM Adventure etc. are the real kings of those mountain roads :)

DISCLAIMER: countless hours of coding efforts went into manipulating the bike's ECU in order for it to show random numbers instead of my actual velocity to make my riding look faster. In reality I never exceeded 89,8kph. Unfortunately sometimes my ECU hack didn't work and the speedo showed my actual speed which was too slow to brag so I decided to blur the speedo instead.

BACK ON TRACK ermmmm ROAD!!! Not the most pleasant of rides to watch because of traffic and me not knowing those corners. But still worth sharing because MULTISTRADA

Great video as usual 👍🏻 It's so cool to see this wonderful machine on these wonderful roads 😍 Sad to see that the bad lane discipline of those expensive SUVs is also an issue on the Austrian mountain roads, not only in the traffic jams in big cities... 😡
yes indeed :/ But as long as I'm on a relatively narrow bike I'll try not to complain too much. After all I often ride according to my own rules myself ;)

actually quite a few "actionsports athletes" go to UAE because of this reason. Over there some people indeed are willing to pay. If there'd be any twisties in Qatar I'd definitely think of making a move :D

Hello Mate! nice ride! i own a 2015 !200s Multi, and plan to trade it in to R1200GSA or Multi Enduro, as i do long miles, and with a bit of slight offroading my multi doesnt' make me feel comfy enough and suitable for offroad enough, so the question is as you have ridden both, which one would you choose the bimmer or the multi enduro and why would you make that particular choice. Thank you for your answer.
I unfortunately have zero experience with offroad riding. But personally I enjoyed the Multistrada more and I actually think that for slight offroading both bikes will work fine
Tanks for your opinion man, so if you were to go for example from Central Europe to Russia and back you would go for a Multi? considering terrible tarmac and extremely poor fuel quality.
nawww, for long distance traveling I'd get myself something Japanese probably xD
))) great! i really appreciate your opinion man, but just imagine that you were to choose a bike for a long distance journeys, with a bit of light offroading, and a passion for fast corners, but not extreme only between these two.

ja, vor Kurven etc. mach ich das Gas dann schon lieber zu, stell ich mir seltsam vor, mit geöffnetem Gas Anbremsen
Ich meinte das auf und zu auf der geraden immer wie am Anfang zb und immer wieder auf geraden da hackst du richtig rein auf die Kette 😂😂😂
