Did anyone else sing " thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening me. Galileo "?😂 No just me 🙄 I love that your bike is different from the herd. Can't wait to see what happens with the tent. Very much interested to see if there's a tent that could ever convince me to camp 😁
🤣🤣 nope not just you, I was singing it all thr way there after saying that.
I don't think this tent will convince you 🤣🤣🤣🏕
“Galileo” 100% 😂🤦🏻♂️
@@Saddlebags73 Galileo let me go 🤣🤣🤣
@@lilynorthover8378 🤣
Looking forward to the next one. Something different👍🍻
🤣 definitely different for me 🏕⛈️💩
Hi Phil, great to see you visit our neck of the woods! Loomies is good, but Rykas edge of Dorking is where loads of bikers also hang out for a great food experience. Was great to see you riding through Petworth and then stopping at the quaint petrol station I also use! I live in Horsham so tour West and East Sussex most weekends, I also sold my beloved Firestorm for a more upright Kawasaki Z750S as better on back and fuel. I think watching your vlogs, I am going to save for a Bennelli also, and buy some camping gear! 🤣 Loving your new bike, adventures and travel, glad you chaps had a great time! 👊👍😎
Thanks bud, your roads down there are amazing, and I have been to rykas once bit in the car, and I dis buy the t shirt 😂
If you are looking at a benelli I don't think you'll be disappointed, you get a lot of bike for the money 👍
Diving right in the deep end with camping thing.👍 I consider camping to be a cheap motel😁 As far the GS thing it just goes to show your an independent thinker.
And I don't have the money 🤣
GS's became a sheep followers bike, now dealers can't sell them due to much better value Chinese bikes.
@@wsmv
Nothing to do with not having the money...more to do with not being ripped off in following the sheep.
Oh blimey. I have had many tents (my solo and a 4 man teepee are my current ones)... and it never fails to rain at some point. I never scrimp on my sleeping bag either. 😂it's bigger than my tent. 😂😂
Yikes at those sound traps... hmm...
I look forward to part two
Thanks LJR, yep the sleeping bag was not the best, nor the air bed, will have to rethink that for next time 🤣🤣
If you find that you hate camping you won't have lost much so you have done the right thing 😊
It was a great taster, I absolutely loved it though so I'll have to invest in something a bit more comfy next time 🤣
Just brill Phil! 👍😬
After a couple of moto camping efforts at my end, I'm still on the fence & think that Andy GSA Tractor has the right way of thinking, by choosing to only camp inside under 4 or 5 stars, instead of a sky full!!! 🤣👍
🤣🤣 that's definitely the best idea on camp sites.
It was great mate, looking forward to the JDM camping videos now the adventure bike has arrived 👍
@@wsmv Oh The Isle Of Mull was visited last weekend as it goes & great fun on my wee baby GS! 🤪🤣👍
Awesome buddy, can't wait to see the vid 😁👍
Teasing us again WSMV, can't wait to see if you're on your way home in the next video 🤣Knowing you like a bargain l can highly recommend a Cekell cool summer seat cover about £20, keeps your nads nice and chilled 🤣
I wish I'd heard of that before Mark, my crotch was 1000° and rising 🥵
😂😂
you're very entertaining and fun to watch bro, you're convincing me to get a TRK myself for my A2! Greetings from Belgium!
Ho Robin, thank you so much. I love the trk, and was sad when I changed it for the multistrada. The trk is one of the best bikes I've ever owned but thought the trip down to Italy and back this summer with a pillion may be hard work.
I will be heading back through Belgium on the way home, I love Belgium and have stayed in brugge many times, this time we will be staying in Ghent which is a beautiful city.
I'm sure you will love the trk if you get one, stay safe my friend 👍
I study full-time in Bruges, a beautiful city indeed. I'm sure you'll love Ghent as well! Just got my A2 license, and you're inspiring me for many adventures to come. Thanks for making these awesome videos, love them!@@wsmv
Stacks of kudos to you, Weston, for going to BOGNOR REGIS!
I've often thought about camping (although not with a motor cycle) but my grey cell has always flipped back to my days in the TA when we used to 'bivvy' on the likes of the Northumberland Moors. Being 6' 3" my feet always protruded from the end of the bivouac so I had to keep my boots on to avoid getting frostbite of the toes.
Obviously though modern tents are a galaxy away from army bivouacs except, perhaps, your Ebay jobbie.
😂 the tent I had may surprise people, will be interesting to show how I slept 😂
Having met you I can only imagine how you tried to squeeze into a tent 😂😂
When you said cheap i wasn't expecting that 😅 it's not only possible to stand up, it's obligatory. If you get a taste for camping im happy to help you find a decent cheap tent.
Thanks buddy, I have got a taste for it now, and possibly have a much better tent on its way.
Standing up is overrated 🤣
Really nice vid, you've pushed the budget on camping equipment on this trip 😮 😂. The inflatable for your comfort in the 'tent' sounds interesting.
Strangely, just this morning, Carol and I were in Loomies. First customers for a breakfast after getting off the ferry from France.
They have a great place there, would liked to have spent more time there but we'd lost so much getting lost.
Hope the France trip video is out soon, we are taking the ferry over at the beginning of August and I'd love to see how it's all done 👍
@@wsmv We had a great time. Took the van with the bikes and drove the 570 miles from the French port of Caen to Borg st Maurice on the other side of the county in one day Hopefully we have stuff recorded riding the fabulous roads of France, Switzerland and Italy
Love it!
I'm really liking your new bike!!
Thanks bud, ridden about 500 miles on it already and it's been a dream to ride 😎👍
Awesome 👍👍👍
Thanks bud 👍
I would definitely go down the cheap route (or get a B&B).
Can't believe I have to wait until the next video to see if the tent has a rear.
😂😂 sorry mate, couldn't conpress the video any more than I did and I hate going over 10 mins 😂
Had a G.S. now riding a TRK 502 and tell ya what I much prefer it great little bike !!
I absolutely agree Allan, riding the multistrada now which is a brilliant bike, but I do miss the ease and simplicity of the trk 👍
Brave man. The only tent for me these days has a normal door and no less than a 4⭐️ star rating😁😆😅🤣😂. Excellent stuff. Did you get a chance to read my comments on your last video re the gearing and throttle lock. Love the bike looking forward to part 2👍
Hi Ian, I am so sorry but I must have missed it, I will go and look now because the gearing is the only thing I find doesn't work too well, I've ordered a smaller rear sprocket to lower the cruising revs, hope that works.
Will take a look at your comments now 👍
All good. At the end of the day, it's what works for you, m8. I'm looking after a multistrada at the moment, and even though it's a fantastic bike and an absolute weapon. I'd still rather ride the TRK. Just a wonderful all-rounder and for the money, it allows me to have the enfield as well . 2 great bikes for the price of one.
Looking forward to the next part - I’d love to go camping on the cheap so interested in your experience 😊
Thanks bud, it's not as bad as you might think, the tent and experience is in this Saturdays video, hope you like it and get some ideas for your own camping trip 👍
That was a real teaser of a part 1 and I’m loving the jeopardy . I’m looking forward to this and many other adventures on the new bike. Think of all the due you’ll have been able to get with the cash you save over getting a gelande/strasse 😉
🤣🤣 I love my little Benelli but I'm in awe of the GS's make everything seem so effortless 😍👍
Well this is definitely different you on a camping trip cant wait to see the next one anyway you take care and ride safe TTFN
Thanks thumper, this is as far from my comfort zone as I've been for years 🤣🤣
Great video mate always thought about doing a camping trip but we do love a ensuit lol
🤣🤣 I'm kinda with you on that, but the portaloo was just outside the tent so it's a bit like an en suite 🤣🤣
Love it mate, get out there and do it. Not so sure about that tent though😂
You get one of those Slummit tents for a decent price, great tents for biking
Will have to take a look, cheers bud 👍
Love it!! There's you slumming it with all your gear probably costing less than one of the GS riders gloves 😂 GS ,GS, GS, GS, Common as muck those GS's 🙄
😂😂 for good reason though, they are amazing bikes 😎💪
I've ridden that road diwn from Loomies a few times. Like most if the south in that area full if cameras and sneaky coppers
I've never seen so many cameras on one stretch of road ☹️
Good to see your trying the camping mate with the right kit it is fun. not so shore of your choice of tent looks a bit like a beach tent like you said. If you was heading for Loomies how did some end up in Salisbury un less you was doing a big loop round .
I genuinely don't know mate, I think the heat was playing havoc with the satnavs 🤦♂️
Man u are so funny, really entertained me for 11 minutes straiight
🤣 thanks Mr. Swaggy, I do try to keep it light hearted 😁👍
We recently got a toilet tent from “Congo” in the same sort of price bracket for some emergency storage. It failed to last for one erection before splitting 😮 . Hence my excitement about the next part 👍
Struggling to maintain an election is a conversation for us older guys over a pint 🤣
This little tent may surprise you 🫣
@@wsmv 😂😂😂
Being a cheapskate myself, I toured Ireland on a budget adventure bike, and had as much fun as I would have on a GS1250…maybe even more.
Tell your vloggy friends to shurrup 😂🤐
That was a very old sounding dismount at Loomies 🤣
Enjoyed this and look forward to seeing part 2 👍🏼
Mate that dismount was properly painful, my crotch was 1000° and rising after riding in touring gear 🥵
Nah I won't tell them off, they've only got my best interests at heart 😁👍
@@wsmv 😊
The only thing I wouldn't skimp on is the tent and sleeping bag. I wouldn't go mental but I've had enough of being cold and wet to not want to do it again.
The sleeping side of things wasn't the best as you'll find out, but the tent was OK so long as I lay down at an angle 🤣🤣
Hi mate don't need to spend loads. If you want it I have spare self inflating mat. Also stove.
I think for next summer I will have to invest in better kit to sleep on, probably an inflatable double mattress to stop me rolling off during the night 🤣
Ahh, I'd have come say hi had I known you were in our neck of the woods mate 🙂
I have to be honest, I had no idea where Bognor Regis was until I got lost and put it in the sat nav, I thought we were going to North Wales 🤦♂️
@@wsmv😀 hahahaha 😀
Too many vowels for Cymru😊
Wow you wasted no time at all, already going moto-camping.
Ahah I'm glad you don't have a GS, it's so boring that everyone has one to be honest.
Budget gear isn't always bad, there are loads of waterproof motorcycle jackets on Amazon that loads of people swear by.
Yeah that's some road works being done correctly, don't come to my area because we don't do it like that 😂
Great video mate, glad to see you out and about enjoying the adventure bike and using it to it's full capacity.
Thanks Grant,
The Benelli is certainly gonna get tested over the next few weeks, 2 over Seas tours and both 2up.
This could be interesting 😂😂
@@wsmv I can’t wait to see how you both get on mate ☺️
I took the wrong tent poles the first time I went moto camping. Overcome and adapt.
Next time you should go to the Elephant Rally. Look it up.
I'll take a look mate, cheers 🍻
Yep! ownership of an ADV, requires 'standing up on the pegs' at every available opportunity! 🤣🤣🤣
You're never lost on a bike........just exploring!
I do 'a lot' of exploring 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣 "exploring" I like it 👌
I'm hoping someone can tell be what standing on the footpegs is for, apart from resting your butt cheeks obviously 🍑
@@wsmv Makes you look
Super cool 😎
🤣🤣🤣
Or is it a pratt!! 🤔🤣
@@grumpsrides42 🤣
I like it 😁😆😁😁
Cheers bud, I'm enjoying the TRK very much 😎👍
I like your choice of Bike. I know that the Benelli’s are mainly Chinese now but they still have that Italian thing about them. I like stepping outside of the norm, obviously it doesn’t always work out, but I think it will be fun. I’m pleased you don’t get any free stuff, the thought of you having to be almost topless in your videos or with your nipples poking through your jacket would make me quite ill! I love the high risk camping gear, especially given the shitty British summers weather, should ensure we get to laugh at your choices in the future.
I'm surprised that my nipples are so repulsive 🤣🤣 nah I'm not selling my soul to get freebies like so many do. And the says where I can use my sexuality are long since gone 😭
@@wsmv sadly, I never had those days
But I do buy some name brand condiments, like ketchup or mayonnaise and mustard. Can't be cheap with food I cook myself, as I cook 99 percent of all my food. Never go out
I wish I could do that, I'm a terrible cool and just can't find time to learn 😭
Become an individual buy a gs😂😂😂
I can't knock them mate, not been around one until this trip and I was amazed how impressive they are, could be the step up next year for me 🤔
