      55K was too much, if you ask me. A Jeep is a fairly simple vehicle. Shared parts (engine and other parts) and yet the price is for something more exotic.

    I have a 2019 Grand Cherokee and a 2022 Gladiator. I think the 3.6 Pentastar and the 850 Transmission are one of the best powertrains on the market as far as a good combination of reliability and decent power. That being said, I would love to see the 5.7 Hemi or the new Hurricane in the Gladiator!

    Dealers have '23 Gladiators on the lot collecting dust. The new car market is asinine and I'd encourage buyers to choose a 2 or 3yr old certified vehicle and save $10-15k and have a better warranty 😅

Looks GREAT in new Yellow, and the interior improvements make it worth the upgrade for me (I went from a '21 Wrangler Rubicon 4Xe to a '24 Gladiator Mojave. Miss the hybrid powerplant, but I sorely needed the truck form factor.

    Especially putting emphasis on the gladiator being a truck, It deserves the new hurricane engines. Have the basic models use a different version, which would produce less power than the standard output. Probably would want to target a 300 horsepower / 300 torque goal. Then move up to a 370 horsepower / 370 torque goal for the Rubicon and 400 horsepower / 400 torque goal for the Mojave. In terms of the 392, despite the fact that it's being discontinued, they could rebrand and launch it at a later time as the Gladiator RHO with the 540 horsepower hurricane. The numbers make sense and I think they should do it, if not now, with the next generation.

    It seems the real Gladiator update will come in 2025 with the 4XE version. I'm going to hang on to my EcoDiesel Rubicon at least until then and then we'll see what pricing is like and how Jeep implements the 4XE in the Gladiator. I'm betting on it being 3.6L based and not 2.0L. I'd love to see the Hurricane in the Gladiator... but it'd also be a $85K mid-size truck.

    • @PeakDecline
      @PeakDecline 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also.... I think the Mojave is a bit of a silly trim. Solid front axle will never beat the IFS based competition at high speed. The Rubicon is a much better starting point for lifts and modifications. If you lift a Mojave you either a) have to use shock extensions which will severely limit your suspension travel or b) replace those expensive Fox bypass shocks you paid for with the Mojave trim because you need shocks with a longer travel. Meanwhile the Rubicon's front locker and 4:1 low range transfer case are things you can use all the way until you're thinking about 40s and Dana60 axles.

    JEEPs aren't selling because all of the competition have engines that have more power. Even the Bronco has the HOSS 3.0 system from the Raptor in the Badlands and it's suppose to be on all Sasquatch versions. Ford seems to have been paying attention finally after there lunch screwup and fixed a weak spot. Engines are the Gladiator and Wranglers weak spot!! Jeeps been relying on it's hard earned rep while the competition is going out of it's way to out sale them and pass them!. Jeep needs the 3.0 inline 6 in both standard and HO versions!

  • @jaredmeche6325
    @jaredmeche6325 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Sorry, until Jeep puts the 4xe or hurricane in the Gladiator Rubicon and Mojave, it's a $45k-$48k mid-size truck at best. Not saying it isn't nice, but there's too much competition for mid-size off-road trucks now.

    No disrespect intended, but you are on the road in an offroad machine...
    I literally tested mine at faster speeds up to 60mph jumping and stomping on rough terrain that would destroy a Rubicon at around 35mph i tested them both at the same places.... and the Mojave dominated it... I also smoked a raptor in my Rubicon JT on 421that tried to bully me in the curves.. they cant perform as well as these midsizes at speed on the roads or offroad they cant maneuver as well either..
    You going around a paved road is truly a discredit to the High Speed OffRoad Machine my friend...
    Hit some trails, and "Take Your Time" getting used to this machine and work your way into it.. 3rd gear goes from 32mph and gets ya up to 68- 70 and 4th gear will frieghten you..
    I swapped my 2020 Rubicon for a Mojave JT recently and have zero regrets..
    That dinky little v6 will give You more than you can handle with our racing harnesses..
    So be careful this thing won't scare you at top speeds , where other trucks would just bounced out of the ruts and spin out/crash... Use what you paid for, and you'll enjoy it better..
    4-wheel low, is insane, on a trail... 😮
