- So Its M. Bison launch week and with all the hype surrounding it and his crazy gameplay, I wanted to make sure that the World Tour portion of it doesn't get lost in the mix. For Akuma's world tour presence it turned out that it was very enlightening as it let us know M. Bison was coming back to begin with, so maybe the hints in this world tour update are something to take notice of...

So with Bisons release, lets dig into World Tour again! It turned out to be pretty eventful for when we did it when Akuma launched, as world tour update for Akuma effectively let us know with very little room for guesswork that M. Bison was coming back. Now? Well... making new music and paying voice actors across multiple languages tells me that we just might have some hints as to who is coming up in Season 3 lol. No guarantees assuredly, but I do take this as a strong hint. Plus, well story stuff! So have a watch, dig in and let me know what you think!
nah it's totally happening, if we go back on the early s2 leaks, elena, 2 of the shadaloo officers (bison or vega.. i think), and a newbie/new character (that Filipino character?), ngl this new/current s2, I've got a strong hunch that there were some last-minute adjustments (during the time before akuma came out) made to the Street Fighter 6 season 2 roster in response to those pesky leaks. It seems like they threw in those snk guest characters to have the leakers look false and keep future seasons shrouded in mystery from that point on. While their strategy might have achieved its goal, I can't deny that it's left some fans, not all, including myself (disappointed at first, now excited) feeling frustrated. But hey, I'm keeping my head up and hoping that the upcoming seasons will bring the one or a couple of certain characters i and others wanted meet the high expectations of the passionate Street Fighter community, can't wait to see terry in sf6 gameplay art style/graphics!"

Akuma, then Bison, and in the next 3 we have Vega, Balrog and then Sagat.
Remember the leak that said "Sakura, Rainbow Mika, Vega, Elena, Character from the Philippines and Bison"? The leak said it would be Bison without the hat and Vega would be blonde, just like he is on the World Tour.
The leak is probably partly true, and perhaps it was even completely true, but the Collab characters were not on the list, as they were planned 1 year before the game was released.
The next season will probably be the character from the Philippines, Sakura, Mika and Vega
You don't see bison, die in the street fighter v You just see a skin cracking, which is what you see in the street fighter? 6 model and statue falls in front of them and a few blocks the final shot this tells me he's alive.

I wonder if the G/Rose plot is gonna ever get continued. This franchise introduces new ideas and then immediately abandons them so often.

Saying current Bison doesn’t care about his old self is an understatement.
He never once asked how he died or who killed him. Even after learning the identity of his killer, he doesn’t seem to have any desire to go and seek revenge.
To drive the point home, he literally tells the avatar he won't be tied by the past and that he will be his own man.
So, in a weird sort of way, this is a new Bison.
Honestly Bison doesn't seem like the type who would be bent on vengeance against someone who killed him. He seems like he'd just see that as fulfillment of his "the strongest shall rule the weak shall suffer" philosophy.
While his win quotes says that he's back on being the most evil villain, it definitely feels like he'll be a slight anti hero which i WOULD LOVE!!! TO SEE! imagine m.bison while still being a total badass, and somewhat evil, don't go full on sf5 evil and just does his own thing😂
To be fair, he's never really sought revenge for any of his past deaths, either. Well, most of them, anyway. Through context, it looks like he isn't even aware it was Akuma who killed him that one time, while Akuma himself references it in his story so it's been confirmed that it happened. So for that particular death, even if he wanted revenge (which I'm sure he wouldn't anyway) he wouldn't even know who the target would be.
@marksamson4173 Fair point. Still, it's kind of weird for someone with his ego not to want at least a little payback.
Though I guess it could be he knows he is not yet complete and he is just being cautious.
@Scootapuff88 Could be. It would mean he really believes what he preaches and is not just spewing bs to justify world domination.
It also would make him different from villains like Heihachi, Shang-Tsung, and Geese, who definitely make revenge a part of their agenda each time they come back.
Seems like World Tour is the place to be for dlc hints and speculation. That said, it was good seeing those two
Yeah, Falke was hinted at too during Ed’s quest when we were looking for her. I wonder if we stop at just mentioning them for lore reasons or they will be dlc characters in 6.
@@arpadszabo661 Vega and Balrog are definitely way more likely than Falke, but considering how much they were actually able to improve Ed from 5/make him cool I wouldn’t be opposed to them giving Falke the same treatment
A bit I found cool was that when Bison came across the horse it was on the verge of death, but it had such a strong look of wanting to live that Bison gave it psycho power to give the horse a chance
while bison would consider it a tool, still he has a certain "good" side at least now, or something similar to akuma, not liking weaklings but still won't damage them. he liked the horse cause of his will to live.
I kinda find it funny how all the Vega and Balrog talk about their time in shadaloo like they were in band

And the first fighting boss would be a grappler. Imagine that!
Bison's return make think of a season premier of Sherlock in which people spend an entire episode discussing how Sherlock could have made it out of a life or death situation only for it to end with Sherlock basically saying they wouldn't believe/understand even if he told them.
That was such an awful episode.
Street fighter is the correct name. Ryu, Ken, Akuma and bison all look like they argue over shopping carts and pet pigeons in alleyways.

The fact that they're voice-acted feels like confirmation for being DLC characters. Which is great, I love Balrog

Some of the interactions with Bison are truly hilarious for how he just constantly veers between surprisingly positve ("Doesn't matter if this body is scarred and aching, it's mine and I will use it to live life my way."), obviously evil and condescending ("I don't give two shits if you hate me, just be more useful than a horse and I'll happily use your skills.") and the way he can burst out laughing after some sentences. My favourite is when you ask him how to track down the other Shadaloo members and his response is to immediately punch you up because what are you doing asking him for, figure it out yourself you dullard!
While I do wish he was more of a neutral or wandering presence, rather than just retreading his old desires to build up for domination, the way we interact with him and at times even mildly amuse or impress him is oddly entertaining.
Big agree with the idea of making him more of a wandering "chaotic being" that follows his own agenda instead of making him lead an organisation again.

I'd be okay with one of the kings coming for season 3, but I would find it a little ridiculous if they continue to just add SF2 characters when the majority of the characters we got in the base game were Street Fighter 2 characters. Bring back some characters who haven't been around in a while. Give the fans of the other games some love too.

I am psyched about Elena but man I want Makoto, Sakura, Q, Dudley, Sagat, Alex, Gill, Urien, Necro, Yun/Yang, Cody, Guy, Poison, Hugo
Like 5 and 3 have left burning questions for Street Fighter 6 to answer and given the game takes place in Metro City there's a lot of unanswered Final Fight questions too. It would be ideal if everyone got the characters they wanted for sure but how many years must we wait for questions to properly get answered? There's a lot of dangling threads and almost none of them were answered in the base game.
Makoto please, Q,Sagat,Yun/Yang and Cody at least. Guy would be dope or Feilong
@@vikingfromnorth45 they literally promoted the game on the fact they would put more attention to lore and for the first time past sf3. A few times being even refered or teased as a third strike sequence.
We will got our first SF3 character at the end of the season, in the middle of next year, almost a whole year from now. Only one, the first. No Alpha caracters neither. made game about lore and make a a big thing about being into Metrocity. 0 Final Fight characters too.
I love Elena, she's my 2nd favorite of sf3, but to say "We got Elena though" as an awnser to that, for real...

I kinda like how Psycho Power now feels like more of a foil to the Satsui no Hadou, in that the former came from corrupting the original Soul Power into something more malicious while the SnH was actually a core piece to the "proper" Anatsuken style before Gouken changed it to be less lethal.
Also, I've been waiting for Vega since launch, so don't tease me like this if you're just gonna give him the C. Viper treatment, Capcom.
Cool that they finally did some in-game stuff with Bison and Rose's background. It's also a neat mirror for the Akuma - Gouken relationship.
And yes there is a MK1 balance patch out. Not sure if there will be a vid I desperately need sleep(been grinding world tour stuff for this vid since before the sun came up) and need to start work on Bison combos and big guide too. I hate when everything happens all at once I am only one person lol

Do they though? On paper it sounds important, like something should be brewing underneath with the search for former test subjects, the forming of Neo Shadaloo and now even Bison is back.
This sounds like main storyline material, in this case rather a spin off movie, I really want to watch. There are Metal Gear Solid, X-Men First Class and Avengers vibes but they're not doing much with it at the moment.
They don't even meet in Bison's arcade mode, it's Juri, because of course it's Juri, she has way more nicer feet than Ed... ^^
@@marcbraun5342 I would love to see a clash between Neo Shadoloo and Shadoloo when Bison or someone else takes control of Shadoloo (most likely JP) as a DLC story mode where you play as maybe Ed or John Street Fighter on Ed’s side and Ed fights with the real Bison at the end and he is the one to kill him off again because of the SF5 build up for Ed vs Bison if he comes back so yeah, I would buy that.

Like I wrote, what they set up here has mainstory potential for another franchise or a spin off. Ed and Bison in their SF6 design, in art and gameplay, make a great protagonist and antagonist they look awesome on screen together. I'm thinking of Raziel and Kain from Soul Reaver, they also work so well.
And the getting all test subjects together, who have the same trauma, and help each other as well as protect each other, have a common goal,...I don't know, man, I feel they have something here, that's why I love those two in SF6 and I didn't care for Ed (besides of beeing one of the boxers) and I never cared for Bison before, until now.
Make it happen, Capcom, give us, not X-Men but Psycho-Men - First Class,...just give it a better name...
@@marcbraun5342 I could see Ed being the main character in SF7 or a major character or protagonist in a DLC storyline (which they are hyping up with the unsatisfying ending to World Tour and Bison’s return with the 4 kings being referenced in Bison’s missions) where Ed leads a group with Ryu and maybe Guile to put Bison down for good (even though Bison is like William Afton at this point where he always comes back) kinda like a Shadow Falls but with more love and care put into it.

So far Ed and Rashid are the only newcomers from 5 that are in 6, Elena is going to be the first character from Third Strike. Would be nice to have some more reps from those games as well as Alpha.

The collab characters are a problem though that contradicts the leak and probably will in the future. What if there will be a 2 Tekken characters in SF6 for season 3 or street level Marvel characters on Season 4?

It was explained back in SF4 that as long as Psycho Power exists Bison will always exist.
Ngl Vega and Balrog definitely won't sell me on S3, hopefully more interesting choices are on the way because S2 is a banger

Vega is 1000% confirmed for season 3, they even went as far as getting a voice actor.
I like this 'hinting' approach to character reveal of the subsequent season, I hope they keep itt up. I think it arouses a lot discussion and some degree of excitement/deflatiion while also taking the wind out of sails for leakers. I think this is a good approach.
Vega was in the leak that we all thought was false but it sounds more and more plausible just that it got it wrong with six characters being in one season. Maybe next Season really is Vega, Sakura, R.Mika and a new character.
I’m hoping no new character, if they wanted to add one then it should’ve been base roster really. Although Vega and Sakura would be dope

But the writters of street fighter are kinda letting me down with this path of new Lore if i'm being honest it Will take a really REALLY long time to get all the organizations In order

Personal Opionion: We have enough SF2 reps already... I can understand the 8 Ogs being main roster, + Akuma. And I can get why M.Bison came back from hell, but can Bison's lackeys wait at least 2 more seasons? Are they really obligatory RIGHT now? Idk, I still miss some variety in these DLC picks, but no hate tho...

Something interesting, is that if JP fights Bison and wins he specifically says 'Peculiar you are not *your whole self* yet' which means this *is* Bison but the resurrection process was not completed. Which could mean somewhere down the line we might get a 'complete' Bison as a DLC which will have all his powers and possibly more.
Or more likely we'll see the complete bison as the next giant boss
Also, if you notice M. Bison doesn't just use Psycho Power fully because some colour of his skills are not completely violet like in SF V. It seems that it's mixed with Soul Power too. By comparison Rose in SF V colours are blue and green, but in some skills she uses violet colour. So my theory is that Bison got some kind of humanity in him, thus not making him not same Bison as before.
P.S: I think in Alpha, he said that he abandoned humanity and left it within Soul Power to gain full control on Psycho Power.
Bison has used blue flames in every incarnation of the character except SFV, so I don't think its that.

Vega has a good chance of being added in season 3 because his move set is unique because Capcom says fighters with unique moves come first before fan favourites.
The original season 2 leak have Vega in it right? It also got Bison and Elena right and even correctly described their redesigns. Vega, Mika, Sakura, and a new character for season 3?
that leak was 100% false. Do not put any stock in it. It just tossed out names to get people excited and that was it.

The descriptions were really vague and basic tho, guessing Elena’s gonna wear pants and Bison’s gonna look disheveled after SFV’s ending isn’t really impressive
I wouldn't be surprised if this version of Bison will show the "Good" side of Bison resurffacesing. After all, he did said in that cutscene that he had to give up his "Soul Power" - the most powerful one, for Psycho Power. Meaning, the words he said about him already surpassing his master already long before meant that the Psycho Power is directly equivalent to the Soul Power Bison previously had, and in a way does make sense, because Soul and Psucho are just the opposite of each other, much like that of yin and yang.
But here is the deal, Like Yin and Yang have a Taoist belief that you will only get powerful if you get true balance - meaning you need both dar and light, we can be on a point of the story that Bison might be, in the future will be using both Psycho and Soul and would end up more of an anti-hero or a needed balancer for the world. Might make Rose's last prediction of Bison's return turned upside down.
When we visit Elena in World Tour I have no doubt she's gonna mention Makoto and Ibuki
If anyone else is a Street fighter noob like me and having trouble with the 3 10 hit combo part of the bison quest turn to our savior E. Honda. Standing Medium punch into OD 100 hands is 10 hits, makes that part way easier.
Those uniforms for the Shadoloo officers are looking pretty cool actually, but I love that Sagat is too cool to actually wear it so he carries it over his shoulder

appreciate the world tour vids, would love to continue world tour to know more about the lore myself but damn is it grindy. Not to mention it feels awkward to play with my snackbox lol

Unfortunately he prob would be more like his sfv iteration cuz modern doesn’t allow characters two have more than two charge moves, so he’ll prob just have dash straight/low, head butt, turn punch and the weird dp move he had in V, plus whatever new stuff they would add

So much of SF6's story mode and World Tour content is just one, massively irksome holding pattern, where we're directly in between truly interesting things in the world, but not actually interacting or progressing it in any way, shape or form. We literally are just an up-jumped NPC during an omake episode.
Bison Is my most favorite villain and boss in any game, ever!
Hopefully Bison will be good like Sagat. After experiencing Evil Ryu, Shim Akuma, Shadow Lady and Dark Sakura, having a 'Good' Bison is kinda refreshing.

There was also a Bosch reference in his chamber as well. Which leads to my theory that he'll be a fleshed out playable character at some point. Maybe not season 3 or 4 but perhaps the final season, whenever that will be.

So in the next Street Fighter 6 Season 3 is ALSO DLC 3 coming! During M. Bison's story in World Tour mode, we saw Vega and Balrog and then, there's a NEW character alongside with Vega. Hmm...

Man have no idea which Ed missions I'm supposed to do to unlock the Bison stuff. Had the same problem with Akuma, I'm kinda lost in world tour, I guess I will just do everything I can se in my missions list and hope one of those is the Ed one.
Your World Tour character is designed kinda like mine haha. Which I based it off Ogryns from Darktide.

Well that pretty much confirms Vega and Balrog for Season 3. I know a lot of people will be happy about Balrog.
So from what I can tell, Bison's body from SF5 that should've been gone is somehow still around and woke up years later in Metro City. Somehow. But it's now its own person after Bison, who merged with Psycho Power to continue existing, tried to bodyjack other characters (As seen in the SF5 character stories). This didn't work and thus Bison as a 'concept' became scattered. But with the old body suddenly awakening, it now is trying to find itself, and by the time John World Tour kickstarts the Psycho Power machine to 'revive' Bison, the SF5 body comes in and takes Bison for itself. Seems like the old body has actually killed the original Bison to become a new one.

Lembram do vazamento que dizia "Sakura, Rainbow Mika, Vega, Elena, Personagem das Filipinas e Bison"? O vazamento dizia que seria Bison sem o chapéu e Vega seria loiro, assim como é no World Tour.
Provavelmente o vazamento é verdadeiro em partes, e talvez até fosse completamente verdadeiro, mas os personagens de Collab não estavam na lista, visto que foram planejados 1 ano antes do jogo ser lançado.
A próxima Season provavelmente vai ser O personagem das Filipinas, Sakura, Mika e Vega
