As I watched this video I too noticed the shirt. Looks like so many of mine. I keep a flannel sheet over my Sun Conures cage and he literally shreds it. We start over about once a year. He loves to cuddle and be petted like this too. Love these video's
All of my shirts look exactly like the one you have on in the video... I own a Sun Conure as well ... and he behaves exactly like yours in the video. They LOVE their owners... such incredible birds. My bird is like a little person. SO much personality!
I love the newest fashion in Sun Conure shirts. I have a few of my own, especially designed by my bird Puck. (also I have learned to check all shoulder blades before I leave the house. Only bird lovers will understand.)
My sun conure used to chew holes in my shirt my I first got her about 4 years ago but she doesn't do it anymore i got her potty trained she will be on my shoulder and when she wants to go potty she will fly to the bathroom rail do her business there a newspaper on floor actually fly back to my shoulder.

That shirt has the signs of being a "bird shirt." I used to need one of those, but my sun conure, Bo, does not make holes anymore. Does lots of chewing, though. He's welcome to make a hole any time he wants to. They are sweet pets.
I just love this video - it reminds me of my Skitty. He LOVES to cuddle too. He will lay on his side next to my neck and loves to get armpit rubs. He lets me hold his wing and lift it up just as Kiwi does for you. It's amazing how trusting they are once you've bonded with them. Its also annoying how posessive they can be! Skittles will NOT let anyone near me when people come over cause I'm HIS daddy.

My Sun Conure Skittles is exactly like that, I always thought that the leg in the mouth as though they are sucking a thumb was awesome. She gets very relaxed and the eyes flutter just ilk yours. Had mine since she was 12 weeks.

I just got my sun 2 months ago, seen ur video a few weeks ago and so wanted to get my conure to do this; thanks SOO MUCH for making this video! My Skittles is now cuddling like that and loves belly rubs. Skittles will hold onto my finger with his talon and stretch out his head. LOL. He gets 'finicky' though, the belly rubs have to be done just right and aren't done until he SAYS SO. LOL. I haven't begun potty training yet, but he doesn't poop on me no more, he goes to his cage most of the time.
@OapJo Ours was the gentlest creature never bit anyone and was so lovely. We had macaws, ringnecks other lorrikeets and a Moluccan and never had a bite out of sunny and a neighbour had one too and was just the sweetest gentlest thing too. I would love another one.
@LoAfXD Oh, i remember my own parrot. I liked about him one special moment. He never screamed in the mornings. I never closed his cage as well. And when he was tired of being quiet (i was sleeping), he just came to me and started to chew my hair, or picking my nose, ears, until i said "good morning!" to him ))
Oh my goodness, you're so lucky! My conure loves to cuddle, but she gets annoyed if I stroke her too much. She just loves to nestle into my neck, that's about all I can do with her.
Oh, my heart just exploded with love! If he/she has THAT good of a nature and eagerness for caressing, I'm pretty sure it was hand raised, wasn't it? A very beautiful bird indeed, and I can see the apparent and strong, withholding bond between you and Kiwi.

Thank you..he is sweet! I don't know about other suns, but he loves to cuddle, play, and has a great disposition (most of the time) LOL...he has his days when he's a brat too.
Mine does the same thing. Except she's bossy. She pushes my face out of the way to snuggle her beak into my neck. Then all I feel is her hot breath until her Majesty decides she's finished sleeping. All this while holding her foot like a child sucking its thumb. It's amazing what we let her get away with LOL.
Our Sun Conure, Chewy, used to be a super-sweet cuddlebug. Then he turned 5 and got all hormonal, and we've never been able to make him stop acting like a swooping, bloodthirsty vampire. We still love his little self!
LOL...it's his favorite "birdie shirt" the collar in missing in the front and the shirt looks like swiss cheese. He knows he's coming on me when I say, "let me get the birdie shirt." So smart!
ugh..i miss mine sooo much, his name was oscar. he was attacked by the dog 2 days ago. it was just one of those freak accidents. me and my mom went to go take care of the horses and i guess my door didnt latch. hed always do this thing when u laughed hed bob his head up and down really fast, and he just started to come over to my bed in the morning and wake me up lol. :/ you know i never thought ide get so attactched to a bird.
Kiwi is only like that with me. He'll let my husband touch him, but not under his wings. He hates everyone that comes into the house, and I'd never let anyone handle him cause I know he'd bite them. If he's flighted and we have company he'll attack them and draw blood so we make sure he's in his cage. Just keep doing what you're doing, but I wouldn't let others try to hold him...you know he's just going to nail them
@rufiebooz Sun conures are about $600 at pet stores. Green cheek conures are $350. But be prepared to shell out almost as much for cage, toys playground, treats. Also vet bills when necessary. Parrots are a significant financial commitment. Don't get one if you're not willing to spend the money on them.
This is very cute! I love the comfort Kiwi shows!! I have a budgie and he is cuddly, too! Love it! Who knew?

lol, mine has chewed off all the buttons of two shirts, and chews holes in any shirt I wear.

Yes. They tend to bond to one person, ususally of the opposite sex, then they become incredibly protective of their human or chosen 'mate.
Parrots can be really picky about people. Is why a lot of people get disappointed when theirs does not warm up to them readily.

My Peanut just died on Thanksgiving day after being my companion for 30 years. She was just like yours.
I guess Kiwi started cuddling when he was young...I handle him a lot and maybe that's why
