My conure absolutely LOVES me, but if my hair is wet or if I have a hat on, he'll attack me (of course, he's actually attacking my hair or my hat because he thinks I'm in danger, but often he'll attack me accidentally). They have so many problems, but they are so sweet and adorable.

Our little guy "Azulito" loves exactly that - spoiled and caring! These amazing birds lover more attention and care than any cat or dog I have ever seen. I am 48 years old and Azulito came into my life 2 years ago as a baby. I wish I knew HOW loving Sun Conures were 48 years ago. 46 years missed without these amazing family members!!! One of the major things in life I missed till now. I will never go on with my Azulito!
All is well with my little Sun now, I love this vid, your bird looks like he is in heaven. Amazing how such a small animal can have such a big attitude. My little bird managed to scare away the pizza delivery boy... Yet they can be so gentle and loving. Also, the only bird I've had who loves the under wing tickle.

He stands upright, fluffs up slightly, shifts the weight from foot to foot, opens his wings slightly, does a low swoop and doesn't blink while doing what I can only describe as a loud clicky growl. He seems so intense, but I can never find what he is looking at.
Yep!!! That's the dance!!! And there are always varying levels of intensity to it. Sometimes he's just kind of fluffy with wings slightly spread, and sometimes he gets super fluffy and raises his wings above his head while going around in circles. And his eyes get big and round and glassy. Occasionally the dance will end with him charging at something and striking with his beak. It's hilariously frightening and super adorable.
Sarah Barham Phoenix does his left right left foot shuffle, wings apart, fluff up, swoop and return. Almost military. left right left, fluff up, wings apart, swoop and return. But I can never find what Phoenix is targeting in on. When something is really serious he forgoes the footwork, he gets low, gives a clicky growl while slowly rocking from side to side, wings out slightly. But still, I can't see what he finds threatening.

This bird was sold after Haydn's death for an enormous amount of money. I am owned by 2 African Grey. They enjoy their breakfast only as long as they can see me eating as well. Leaving the house for more than a few hours becomes rather difficult because they easily feel abandoned.
Omg I love those parrots! My mother had gotten one recently and it was absolutely adorable it was a baby. Unfortunately the parrot was sick and we had no idea until it looked really bad we only had the parrot for a few days. So we took it to the vet and well surely enough the doctor said lets see if orange ( we named her that) will love in these next 18 hours. :( I miss that bird!
I have a sun conure just like that I love my sun conure I treat it like my child I love it because it never leaves me alone and what’s really about what I love about my sun conure when I feel really sad or start crying he flys to me and then he starts playing with his neck and makes me laugh people should buy a sun conure he is my best friend and when I come home he flys to my shoulder and just chills there and his potty trained
I wish I could do this with mine! I adopted her about two years ago from a friend of a friend, who got her from her sister, who got her from someone who found her in a bush in the dead of winter in Chicago. So the poor gal has had multiple homes and was probably abused and is wary of hands. She's infinitely better now but she'd never let us do this. :( maybe in 10 years lol
my little 2 & 1/2 yo sun conure just passed away, we think she stole a chocolate or something else she shouldn't have eaten. I never thought I would get so attached to a little bird as much as I did with my Manga and it really broke my heart. Thank you for sharing this video, it reminds me of the many cuddles that we had together :)
