Just as I listened to this for the first time...I was versing the Elite Four. Nothing more epic than watching a Cradily own the Elite Four almost solo, with this playing in the background.

Really awesome cover, sounds like it could have come right out of a finished game. The one thing I would say its missing is a little more bass emphasis. The originals deep bass gave it that heart pounding "final boss" feel.

If I'm correct, most of the Pokémon music has the intro (the bassline in this case) and then a looping section that is basically everything else. I haven't played since GSC (though I do plan on coming back :D) but that's what it seems like. If that's the case though, you should look into the looping annotations :D somebody named smpfilms, or something along tha tline, has a tutorial on how to make a video loop at certain spots. You could loop at the repeating part and keep it going forever :D
What I wanna see next, I wonder if you're awesome enough to do: DPPt Azelf Uxie and Mesprit Battle Theme. The Egyptian-sounding one. That'd be so hardcore.
@GamerKLR I proceed more or less that same way, but I don't stick up to just one poke! If I'd do so, I'd be totally screwd! xD I chose Oshawott so as for me, Samurott wasn't enough to face those elite 4, it kinda lacks Speed and Defensive stats, so I trained an entire 6 pokes team to face them ;) But thats just me (Ahahah, If you also find some mistakes on my writting, I'm portuguese :D)
Very nice, but a few things - There were a few tiny hesitations. The tempo was a little low for my liking, it didn't hit the same level of epicness as the original did in my opinion. But other than those tiny things (and I play guitar myself and am quite fussy about my playing, so maybe it's just me seeing these things) this was an excellent cover. Nice job.
