i have probably way too many scouting sets specifically for viper, its like 10 years worth of scouting glamour ideas is just rushing in
I have the twelve deep dungeon aetherpool grips (or whatever they are called) ready for the white and red weapon glams. My jedi/sith fantasy is about to be realized.

For my main character (male viera): I have a new emperor's top, either the martial artist slops, thavnair sarouel, or warg sarouel, Sky pirate boots, and scouting ravel keeper armlets ready for my "Prince of Persia" viper look
So, with Viper having an Omega Weapon from Omega Savage, makes me thing we are going to get updated Ultimate Weapons from the previous expansions. Which would be EXTREMELLY great!!
If you play Hrothgar like me, I made an old NIN glam last year that I think you might like:
Head: Rimless Glasses (Metallic Purple Dye)
Body: Coat of the Ghost Thief
Hands: Wayfarer’s Fingerless Gloves
Legs: Craftsman’s Leather Trousers
Feet: Prototype Milan Boots of Scouting
Necklace: Heirloom Necklace of Aiming

I use full crystarium gear except the head and use pirate hats. This feels like a great pirate glam for viper.
My Viper set so far consists of:
Head: Holy Rainbow Scarf of Scouting (still considering this.)
Chest: Troian Jacket of Scouting
Gloves: Palaka Halfgloves of Scouting (Dyed gunmental)
Pants: Exarchic Bottoms of Scouting (still considering dying soot or leaving be.)
Boots: Augmented Crystarium Boots of Scouting
I'm trying to figure out a Father Anderson cosplay. Hope they give some thin bayonet styled blades.

If we get a palace of the dead weapon for viper, I'll definitely be making a Darth Maul / Sith cosplay.

Saw your Bonewicca glam and I decided to modify it a bit for the Poor Man Problem (aka I don't want to buy store-based glams lol) and not wanting to do the Eden raids. The set-up is essentially:
- Any headgear (I have the credendum scouting bc I like eye-patches, but anything black will do)
- Bonewicca Shadow's Chestpiece
- Voidmoon Armguards of Scouting
- Hakama #55
- Voidmoon Boots of Scouting
With all of these undyed, the color palettes work really well and play off the dark magenta secondary color the chestpiece has. It'll also work well for any dark colored weapons which, I assume, Viper will have a lot of. Right now I have the O8S knives to work with the secondary color, but it looks really good on my character!
Pretty good selection of glams! Had an idea for one more loosely based on the job armour itself;
No headgear (Viera can't get anything nice)
Metian vest - dark brown
Molybdenum armguards of Scouting - Loam brown
Crystarium Pantaloons of scouting - undyed
Crystarium boots of Scouting - Undyed
Wayfarers necklace to top it off
People should definitely check out the Bozjan Southern front scouting gear, as well as the law's order scouting set. There's some great options there
I unintentionally made my viper glam look like Dante's outfit from Devil May Cry 3 and im ok with that as in DMC3 Dante get Agni & Rudra which is the same kind of weapon as Vipers Blades

The Crystarium scouting set with the Cryptlurker head piece is my first pick. The brown isn't very flashy, but it definitely has that Viper feel, and the Wayfarer's necklace adds a little splash of color to the open chest.
Cryptlurker as a whole with hiddeen visor. Full bloodborne or bust.
I'd recommend the Diamond Armor of Scouting chestpiece because it comes with a scarf and is sleeveless
Have my Law's Order Scouting set (dyable) ready to go so i can channel my innner Judge Magister.
Hoping the dual dye system works how we hope it does (dye parts we can’t currently dye). I wonder if it will actually be just mixing the dyes to get shades in-between.
i have the ronkan top (shb hunt marks) set aside for viper, in turquoise green. swallowskin gloves, alexandrian gaskins in soot black, and anemos boots. i tend to leave my head slots blank since i don't like hats that hide my hair, but the yorha 51 hood blends in pretty decently if you don't care about that. if i can get a firecrest out of potd before the expansion opens, the firecrest earring glows orange and ties into the tech panels of the ronkan gear well; otherwise i'll just settle for the azeyma earring. the first place i check for a weapon will probably be vanaspati, the palaka weapons have a similar color scheme
Batliege is ninja exclusive so viper can’t wear them, same for the rest of the liege sets, each is job specific which is why we don’t have sets newer jobs can use from that line

I know for level 90 until 100, I'll be using the lunar envoy chest and boots, the lawman (lawless?) pants, and the obsolete Android gloves. All but the gloves are dyed jet black.
My planned 80 - 100 set isn't the most inspired in the world but having always been a fan of more Vrandtic themed looks had to go with the Crystarium Chest (dark blue), legs (Jet Black, I think...), smilodonskin gloves(dark blue), heirloom boots (jet black) and Wayfarer's Necklace. Creates both something that suits VPRs vibe and ticks the Vrandtic box for me at the same time.
Head is your choice I just always roll with my usual black Classic Specs. Plus fingers crossed that DSR weapons come along too got a spare totem, since omega/TOP ones seem likely now.
Don't forget the Zidane set from FF9!

I have gone out if my way to find as many glams as possible with knives visible on them just because i thought it'd be funny to have my viper be a walking arsenal. Turned out looking pretty nice too!

I'll figure out a good glam once I see what weapons we have avaliable more than the few showcased. A job like viper has been a dream for me for ages and it became my main on the day it was teased.
Since I main Paladin but am super exicted to make Viper my main melee dps of choice (I mean all I'm doing is dropping my shield for a second sword!). I want to keep using the fierce tyrant chest piece and arms but use some other items to make it more unique since I think a knight with two swords would look badass and some scouting gear has sabatons or greaves. The Genji Set in the benchmark had some very ornate looking swords which would be PERFECT.
For those of us who don't play a female character, the Crystarium top is a decent trench coat. Also Snow's jacket (MogStation), though I hate the way the jacket dyes where the inner part stays white. Right out I'm using good ol' Ureaus Coat dyed metallic black for that piratey look. Going to main the actual Viper coat come level 100... hope it's dyeable at the start.

For me I went and got my self the Eden promise and gate chests and the scouting version of the shisui top since it is vastly different from the shop version and yeap went and fished out all known savage weapon coffers (other then current)
My first thought for glam when Viper launched was the Crystarium Scouting top from over in Eulmore. Think it suits the vibe of the job pretty well, and it's what I plan on using until I get the AF gear at level 100.
My current viper glam, on m elezen, is asphodelos headpiece, exarchic robe and armguards(both undyed for the better texturing and purple color), light steel subligar(soot black), and shadowless boots. I'll figure out a weapon once i actually have the job, though i would really like to get the Eden's Promise ones.
The robe has a nice coat look, and alongside the shadowless boots, covers the subligar so that only a bit of the right thigh is showing, tastefully. the armguards match the robe and the asphodelos circlet balances it all out.
also your outfit with the credendum top looks fantastic.
My Viper-Glam of choice (went for a tribal/savage nomade-theme: Warg Pelt of Scouting (Grand Cosmos), Woad Skychaser`s Fur (Sohm Al), Pagos Field dressing (Pagos Lockboxes), Woad Skychaser`s Breeches (Sohm Al), Warg Shoe`s of Scouting (Grand Cosmos)
i already said it in stream once but the metian attire is a perfect outfit that fits a type of mercenary look. if the viper hood works with it then you can actually have some nice mercenary glam except if you cant seperate the clothes from clive than maybe its a bit hard
Funny seeing this video, which reminds me of this scouting sets I've saved up way back from 3.x era, the Ghost Thief gearsets, which drops from either Saint Mocianne's or Pharos Sirius HM, which is practically a Zorro-like, & my old highlander self was really enjoying it on my NIN back then. Alas, my later change to hrothy renders the hat piece becoming useless, hence gonna need to find alternative piece that matches the Ghost Thief sets.
Also the downside of those sets is that they're still undye-able. Surely there would be a much better alternates since, but haven't got time to peruse it & iirc so far hasn't rly found a good dye-able match till currently.

Atrociraptorskin arm guard of scouting, metal silver, looks like my character has a robot arm.
Bergstiger shorts, gunmetal
Baronial boots, metal orange
From what I've seen the Metian set (at least parts of it) looks like it could work for Viper.

No video yet, but we did some farming on a stream for some potential gear to use :P

Honestly these are great glams but not really "Viper." They just don't really match the class fantasy. With a class that is all about fast motion and hyper speed these outfits that all have long flowing dangling pieces detract from that concept in my opinion at least.
Also the more armored looks seem like they would restrict movement too much. But I will admit that the glam looking functional ontop of fashionable is a personal preference and if you just wanna glam out your character with fancy fantastical outfits thats valid.
Here’s hoping that scouting gear broadens with new sets visually

need ideas for male characters since outfits looks so different on them. I have the Late Allegan stuff, but mostly want to save that for Solution Nine.
I has a bloodborne lookin thing with the crystarium chest and stuff. Would look better if bun bois could wear hats (outside of unmentionable methods)
