@@bigboreracing356 - There are some similarities of the LS to the old Cleveland but there are also some very significant differences. To say that the LS is a Ford copy is just narrow thinking. And I’m a Ford guy.
Nice work to all on all cars. That stock block record deal. Those guys saying it was set by a nitrous car so it has to be beat by a nitrous car is crap. The record is stock block speed et record. Power adder trans rear gear weight is all up to the driver or builder. Rock on guys
Mustang getting it done Ford power forever baby a real Chevy and dodge killer the best never rest they just keep getting better has a Ford blu by you later
Those guys are running a aftermarket block like a dart or boss or CN and many others. This guys block is same kind as what it came with from factory that is prone to splitting at 4-500 hp.
@@ChrisSBF-cr6og I thought it was an earlier 302 block, not the usual "late model" block? So it'd be a bit beefier and able to handle more than 400-500. Which btw so many late model 5.0 blocks have gone well over 500hp. Mine got around 650 with a turbo.
Moving upper or lower bar is NOT the same regardless of the anti squat number because instant center will also change making car react differently on launch and require different shock settings to control movement
Glad to see Mike back in action. Nice job on the stock block runs.
Hell yeah bro, love seeing a mustang with a ford power plant still. LS swaps are ok but I love me a ford engine

Awesome. Looking forward to the results!
The green taillights on that car still trip me out, lol

Clean run, on the stock block Mustang!
I’m trying to buy a hatch down the road and build a race car. Gonna try and teach myself how to do it and get a welder. Any suggestions John?
Quick stock block Ford 👍🏻
What up bro
Who has the fastest nitrous 8.2 deck aftermarket block motor in the 1/8 mile
Jason Rigney that we know of
Is the rear shocks upside down ? Was that what u we’re talking about not working for the aca shocks?
Asco. Not aca
What is the stock block record? Do Tony and Tess still have the sbe record?
They do. 5.42 @ 126....and they're coming for the stock block record, too.
@@entropy156and I believe there car is a stick shift also. Bang gears drink beers
what has happened to your friend mike who's garage burnt down. don't see anything about him anymore
That's (Bryan Fondren) John said a while back that he's still rebuilding.
@@mikewillis4137 ooooh ok thanks I got the names mixed up
Man I'd get a girdle on that 8.8!
Sad to see that 2$ stp oil filter on there.
302 or 351 block?
8.2 deck so 302
@ nice!!!
What is the record and who has it.. you try and find all these micro records and there is nothing out there on them..
Should say stock block boost record! I don’t think it should count if a nitrous car made the record and a boosted one beat it but that’s my opinion
I got into this before with baseline suspension binding take that baseline off its good for stock ride hight
Mustang getting it done Ford power forever baby a real Chevy and dodge killer the best never rest they just keep getting better has a Ford blu by you later
How is this the record when there's much faster 8.2 deck cars like private jet ?

Moving upper or lower changes INSTANT CENTER length and height so those 2 settings will NOT be the same regardless of anti swat number

Heims not a good idea. I did it, and it eventually broke the joint.
The stock block 302 record is not that.. the record is 4.97 at 138mph
Yes, he is going to try to break it this week......
Mike you need to lower the ass end of your car about 6 inchesI know everything thanks for the videos
