This was my first TEDx talk and candidly I was more than a little nervous. I apologize for the rough start and the fact it went longer than 18 minutes. The plan was for it to go no more than 16. I genuinely hope that I have the opportunity to do another TEDx talk in the future and, hopefully, I won't be as rough on stage as I was for this one during the first part of my talk. It is a big weight on the shoulders to do well to say the least. ...Regarding the Facebook logo on the social media slide... unfortunately that was out of my control. The production staff was having difficulty getting the presentations loaded and they had to revert to an older version of my talk slides. That older version didn't have the social media slide in it and when they last minute recreated it, someone grabbed the wrong logo off of the internet.
Thank you for a very honest, inspiring and motivational talk. I agree with various points made and hope that others can see the truth in your words, as well as be inspired to change the world too.
being able to get through all those obstacles in your life and succeeded is really great and inspiring changing your life might be the first step to change the world thanks for sharing this with us Dollar Per Month is a genius idea (thumbs up)
Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life. It's up to us to step up and be the better person, regardless of the inevitable pain that may follow. I stand for the greater good.
I really appreciated reading this. Your rebuttal is absolutely correct, and even to this day I wonder how what I've said would even be possible. I've basically came to the conclusion that ignorance can no longer be bliss, and common sense is now a rare thing. My coined term of universal responsibility is parallel with the golden rule, and sadly the majority of people can't reasonably/logically govern themselves. It makes me happy knowing others are aware at least of the same idea, you're not alone!
Tot wrong there is circumstances and other variables which bring any common or great man from being able to change anything and it is far more complex then what you believe in and whats really out there in real world. But believe what you want in truth the world is scared of and not ready for change and exploit to its uglyness another restart please this world is boring..
