I understand why run the Barrier statue but with the right build you can easily get out a barone, dragite, stellar wind wolfryt and one septentrion going first

Just looked into making this deck and it's pretty fun and inexpensive in the way of SR's and UR's. I've seen some other builds that utilize Icejades, what's your opinion on that?

If you want to add anything, it would definitely be the deep sea diva. Adds 2 handrip + baronne under 5 summons for the same normal summon and garnets, icejades simply don't cut it ~~unless you're here to summon Ra~~

I think the new level 7 bear would be better as an level 8 tuner(this just my opinion though)

Agreed, it's easier to find a level 7 non-tuner than a level 8 tuner anywhere

If i may make a suggestion, instead of Vermilion Dragon mech, why not Navy Dragon mech! it's water attribute so it doesn't get restricted by Barrier Statue torrent!

Then again i don't remember what Navy's effect did...

Navy dragon mech negates the effect of cards on the field until the end of the turn
Useful to duck under our own barrier statue - but you probably don't need it when you already have the statue lol
