This video was made before the release of Bonfire!!!! So obviously its not in my deck. You would always be running 3 copies of bonfire in any snake-eye deck now. Id probably remove some of the bricks for it, like silvera, chase, and kurikara.
Awesome video as usual! I made it to Master 1 for the first time last month with Snake Eyes, but watching your video has shown me just how much I still have to learn! It's definitely helped me during my recent climb back through Diamond. Would you consider making a video with Unchained or Unchained Labrynth? Deck seems like a lot of fun!
Guess who sat down all 3 and a half hours watching this. I have some long thoughts. I apologize in advance if I sound like I’m rambling. Wow, what a journey for you playing Snake-Eyes all the way up to the top before Bonfire. Even against unfavorable matchups with SuperHeavy Samurai, Kashtira, and Labrynth. Watching this video also gave me some more insight on how I can play around Maxx C if I can’t negate it. Also, it was interesting seeing you play into Unicorn to spin something instead of going into Apollousa most of the time. Having made a new F2P account a while ago myself making Snake-Eyes as the deck I made, getting EVERYTHING crafted and pulled for Optimal Snake-Eye cards is very expensive, with and without Bonfire. Your deck is almost as good as it gets outside of only having 1 copy of Original, No Borreload Savage Dragon, and that you’re using Gamma and Driver as additional Hand Traps (which did end up mattering). I am curious why you chose to run Decode Talker Heatsoul in the extra deck over somebody like Spright Elf. I can understand Selene due to Diabellstar and Veiler and there’s some good synergy for linking into it through Sunlight Wolf. However, Spright Elf could’ve offered some good combo lines and more use out of Jet and Formula Synchron. Long thoughts, but you did pretty well with all things considered. Congratulations! Also, Touhou music is great to listen to. This video definitely had a ton of Mountain of Faith, Subterranean Animism, PCB, and IN for the bulk of the songs. The other songs I recognized were great pick too.
thanks! ive learned a lot more about snake-eye since i did this climb. 1 original is for sure the best amount to play. heatsoul is my standard combo most of the time. its the best way to see the many handtraps you play. elf doesnt really replace this at all tbh. elf cant produce more disruptions, but the handtraps drawn with heatsoul can. the synchros in general kinda suck. i think itd best played with 15 links in the extra deck instead.
I understand your logic with Heatsoul drawing Hand Traps. While a bit less so, I’ve personally gotten clutch Draws with Knightmare Phoenix on top of backrow removal akin to Heatsoul. To me personally, I like having Savage Dragon to make Jet more worthwhile and not just a garnet. Also, doing the Elf and Formula Recursion combos helps in some matchups. Thanks for sharing.
@@JosephHk743 my experience is that against most real opponents, your synchros dont matter because there is always handtraps involved. I dont play jet in my list, there is no point. Formula and elf are a bit of a fantasy world where you are going 1st and resolving full combo. It usually isnt a good idea to play those types of strategies in a competitive environment.
@@jjeller9625 facts. The deck is almost unbeatable in most circumstances. I still can't come up with a reason for this deck to exist besides putting money in Konami's pockets. No innovation, lazy card design, unfair, unbalanced . The list goes on.
@@jjeller9625 facts. Release cáncer and then sell you the medication to treat the symptoms until the next toxic deck is released. Rinse and repeat. That's the Konami way.
this is not a good take. the 80% winrate is because im a good player and every rank below platinum (and most of platinum itself) is filled with players who are decidedly not good. In diamond and master the winrate is much lower. This is the best deck, so it makes sense it would do well, but there will always be a good deck. I think snake it too strong yes, but its not the reason master duel is dying. master duel is in fact, not dying.

Probably could run 2 poplar now too, and keep the kurikara. 14 starters + 1/2 starter original
1:39:56 that was some next level play.... You baited his negate with hiita then psy framed him XDDD. Awesome!
The video should be called "How to get good in Snake eyes with April without bonfire" Good luck tomorrow on meta weekly :D
As someone who's trying to learn the deck, this is so useful and enjoyable at the same time. Thanks for this
Learn this deck? A 3 year old can win playing snake eyes. Its a no talent copy and paste 😺 deck. Play something that requires skill. Not this 😺 💩

This is the reason why MD is dying. 80% win rate. What a joke
exactly. most of these wins are just by people scooping cause they are tired of dealing with it I'm guessing

how much gems did the deck cost?and did you get without spending money?
i dont spend often. a fresh account usually gives up to 20k gems on the first day. and tons of ur dust

how do you get to rookie every time for these videos?
new accounts

either that or unchain
