One thing about playing limited style decks (masochist, nuzzlocke, this, anything of that style) that gets a chuckle out of me is when you go against kash and they look into your extra and take a minute checking wtf you got in there

The algorithm showed me this and your name was too good not to click. I like the premise a lot but I would prefer to see a lot more replays. I think you totally could make something that could be anti meta for low rarity. Like monarchs / true Draco is really cheap and would be doable outside of board breakers (besides stormforth because it’s based)

As a Virtual World fan, this was super interesting! you showed some techs I've never even thought of for VW with URs, and it's really cool how the deck can play through stuff, I'm looking forward to the next video in the series!

If i may just add feedback, maybe a little side note in the end with what you'd cut, possibly, for a "budget but realistic" version ? Like, there's 1 Ash, 1 Nib, 1 Imperm & a Veiler from basic bundles, so if you were to put these in, what would you cut out etc.

not in the slightest presumptuous, I love honest feedback. You guys are the watcher I do it for you. So yeah I have gotten a couple comments talking about how to affordably scale up the deck and I am gonna try to decide which way I will show that.

If you need more combo line negation btw, there's always Delta.
I wish there was an active UR-less format, like there is one for N/R. If you play MD long enough, every card becomes an easy craft outside of URs. So a UR-less format would be almost as accessible as N/R, but without being underpowered and limited.

Cool concept for a series there are a bunch of great n/r decks that I am sure could be even better if you use some SR in them like melffy tri brigade or just going second decks like suship and crusadia that are used in event since they are good with no UR.

It would be nice to have a golden goose card. For example, if you had enough for 1 or 2 ur available, provide a card/suggestion on what to craft and how it could improve the deck to the next level if you want to invest in the deck itself if you find the playstyle fun.
I sort of did that with ShenShen. You absolutely need him and I think at the UR dependency part I will always mention a card or 2 the deck is crying for
I would love to see an icejade deck with water barrier statue. You could also try it with Havnis to make kitkalos then into the predaplant sr that can negate.

I like vw, if you have access to URs it just becomes unfair with beatrice + rollback and mayakashi trap. For alternate options, i use a small terrortop package to make rank 3/synchro 6 plays. Also Psi-Reflector is a decent cheap package for synchro plays
Cydra is an excellent deck for this, the URs are the Link, Infinity, and Chimeratech for links. The other insane Cydra cards are SR or lower, even Jizikiru and Clockwork Night are Rares.

I dont know if Metalfoes is strong enough for this type of challenge... But a wise man once said "Fuck it! We Ball!" I would love to see your take on Metalfoes. The only UR they have is the pendulum fusion, and I don't think they run it anyway.

If you can end on a negate for ash blossom, heavy slump and trap trick can be an anti maxx c engine.
I'm actually thinking of doing this with a Dark Magician Girl focus deck. There are work arounds for having Dark Magician in the deck, and there are some good effects with Magician Girls. I'm just not sure how far it will get.

Honestly I think the strat is either true draco or some other low rarity stun deck or for combo decks anything that can make good use of droll and gamma as you don't have access to any of the master duel brigade so they are the best if not only alternative options against the roach that would otherwise automatically lose you every third game, so I'd say vw is a good pick

Crusadia is quite useful for this as the only really ur is avramax. Even then he isn't always needed since ftking with equimax is easier usually.
Ashura king is actually kind of cracked in rank 3 spam. Might be worth building a whole deck around that with dangers

Recording them live could be a possibility, but it would make it dreadfully long there are so many strange time stallers and with a new deck every week sometimes I might take hella time to make my combo

Gossip Shadow + Droll is a broken combination. The last duel is why he destroys the synchro. Because he just realize his Live Twin monster can only summon the other girl if you control no other monsters.

In the old days, I usually ran out of SR first because a deck, the SR needs multiple copies and the UR is usually still playable even if you only have 1-2 copies. But now, Konami always makes the "must 3 copies" UR, even for bad decks like Tistina. I can understand if they make must-3 cards UR, if it is usable in every deck outside the arctype.
Consider Book of Moon as extra rares that fit a similar use case as Chalice.
You can also make muddy mudragon thats a level 6 with plenty of options

It's probably not very good, but Megalith is the pinnacle for 'budget deck'. The only UR in the entire archetype is an optional 1 of, everything else is SR or lower. I think Impcantations are a low rarity engine as well, everything good is also SR or below. You CAN use Drytron, but the ritual spell that makes their low level not matter is UR, so they aren't great ritual fodder. I'm sure something ritual oriented could work.
The only other one I can think of is Floo, but I dunno if MD Floo with no URs is the play. No Apex, no Shifter free wins, and 1 Empen 1 Map sounds kinda cursed

Floow can Empen Raiza, that’s an FTK against link decks that’s good enough lol. Plus it got Jack in the hand to replace advent. I want to wait on floow until swallows cowrie releasing, but knowing Komoney it’s gonna be UR
