I'm considering one of these cameras, and ski trip video is fairly high on the list of things I'll be wanting it for... Do you have any insights on it's ski video performance for you so far? Anything it's particularly good or bad at?
Thanks. It's nice little camera. Works perfectly for me for video and stills. Fits any pocket and that's why I bought it.

- Optical stabilization when moving/skiing. Otherwise works fine.
- Auto Iso doesn't work in M mode. I use A for video. Rises shutter speed but I don't mind.

LX10 one of the most misunderstood and underrated cameras of the past 5 years
I recommend this camera 100%. It's a solid and versatile camera. It's small and fits in to the pocket perfectly.

@@akiaro_com Thanks for the link - I've just added a Variable Promaster HGX ND filter and lens hood as the sunlight is overpowering here in Australia - still getting the hang od using it for video
@@BarryMaskell I filmed in A priority so the shutter speed was very high. But I don't mind =) Result is fine to me.

I'm considering this camera for portable video & wonder how you dealt with the brightness ?
Thanks. I shoot video mainly in A mode (manually controlling aperture too) which means that shutter speed goes quite high in direct sun light. But I don't mind it. There isn't ND filter build in like in Sony RX100m5. However you can attach ND filter to the lens with few tricks. Here's how. th-cam.com/video/gcSqb62A5uo/w-d-xo.html&frags=pl%2Cwn
Great results well done - would you mind telling me what colour profile and settings did you find the best - was this shot in 4K?
Thanks. All shot 1080 50p. Color profile was my own setting but basically I just reduced contrast / lifted shadows.

@@BarryMaskell Well I lifted shadows in camera but used LUT in Premiere afterwards. I think I used Christian Mate Crab's luts.
