    As someone who uses intuition for music this is probably the best way I'd describe how to make jazz good job

    Thanks for the content! The major take away here is using 7th, 9ths and 11ths. About minor scale, a warning: it actually contains the same keys as the major scale - the difference is from where you start or end your progression. For example, the C major scale contains the same keys as the A minor scale. This means that if you create a C major scale but you start layering chords from A or they end in A, it might sound minor.
    Transposing should not change the mood of the song, as that changes from the spaces between notes (i.e. if the chord itself is major, minor, etc). Although it might sound better, specially if the instrument has some peculiarities for different note ranges.

    Hey, thanks for the easy-to-understand tutorial. Liked it. Is there anything similar to the stamp tool in GarageBand or other iPad apps? Appreciate the help!

    if the 9ths (9 white lines lmao) are getting boring try 7ths, 9ths and 11ths. they are the best for jazz

      It's been a while since I downloaded it but I believe it's behind a paywall

    Could you tell me how to make the so-called mellow chords? They are used a lot for lofi mellow rainy etc, they are used by artists like mondo loops or purrple cat.

    • @Taeodoestech
      @Taeodoestech 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Scaler 2 and chord.Ai have chord detection to decipher the chords used in a track. Mondo Loops uses a surprising amount of suspended chords… sus2, sus4, maj7sus4, min7sus2, maj13sus4, sometimes dominants for things like turn arounds or in 2-5-1 progressions.
