I've been making lofi for a good wee while and I still struggle, what I just realized is that I should start with a soft piano first and then look for other instruments, sometimes I cant find anything that sounds good to me so I dont make anything and just turn off FL.

@@mixedbyhals1329 lol no, I was hoping for an explanation WHY he did what he did so I could learn something. And not just a narration of WHAT he did, which I see/hear anyway.
@@nieder-olm well lofi is very much music theory and mixing in off Notes and beats. A lot of this involves using something you wouldn't normally do and mixing 2-5 notes to Contrast a Cord. Which is easier to Show than say. That's probably why he just showed the process instead of an explanation.

Love that piano progression. Never looked into the lo-fi beats but this sounds really good. Just FYI, if you hit CTRL+L I'd does the same thing as ALT+L automatically without the pop up message. Also if you hold shift while cutting will always cut in vertical lines without having to worry that the cut will go like this /

Back in the early 70's I was making lofi beats on my reel to reel Teak 4 track and didn't even know it! (Hah).
Having only four tracks, a lot of 'bouncing' took place which introduced loads of tape hiss despite dolby.
Then the 'clicks' caused by splicing tapes (usually with a razor blade and sellotape).
But hey! I was happy.

I've recently purchased my first electric guitar and a sweet amp. And even though I want to become as good as possible with the guitar, my ultimate goal is to learn guitar so I can make lo-fi music with creamy guitarlicks! I also have a keyboard I wanna learn to properly use for the same reason :)

Does that mean that i can only use headphones with Max. 32 ohm ?
Or can i also use headphones with 80 or 250 ohm
