- Can’t live without them - membranes enclose the amniotic fluid that the embryo swims in - and form the placenta, the embryo’s life-support system in utero. Here I start by looking at the membranes inside a hen’s egg, supporting the developing chick embryo, then focus on equivalent membranes around the human embryo.
These lessons are a wonderful chance to brush up your knowledge or learn for the first time. There’s no one more informative than prof Alice Roberts!
I learn SO much from these "classes"! It makes me realize that my degrees in humanities didn't give me a broad enough knowledge of… humans!
Amazing skills keep going
I actually knew some of this which completely surprises me. Once again Alice takes you on a interesting journey towards learning.
Oh this is fantastic. Thank you so much for taking time to make these videos - me and my pregnant partner will watch them to lessen the rainy-autumn-lockdown-pregnancy-blues! :)
Thank you!!
Thanks Prof Alice Roberts... 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Live is a Wonder
Wonderful, amazing ive learnt so much again, thanks again Alice!!!
Oooo nice. Grabs cup of tea and lies on sofa to watch. 👌
Wonderful
Really is interesting and educating. You have such a smooth calming almost hypnotic tone to your voice. You should think about producing some relaxation tapes to help people de-stress after a long hard day.👍
Great video and topic thank you. If may give some feedback; the paper is illuminated very brightly at the upper edge and this makes the contrast of pencil on paper very low and lessens the presentation quality quite considerably. I hope this is a helpful comment
Utterly gorgeous. Can you please tell us what sort of pencils you use for drawing?
I guess is why strict religions won't eat eggs with any traces of blood in there... Are all eggs containing blood fertilised?
