    The 605, best engine sound from ww2 aircraft ever. Such a deep engine sound and that little bit of super charger thrown in there is just grand!

      Eichorn was given ground instruction on the Bf-109 by Erich Hartmann before he passed away, so he had a very good teacher.

    Had too be the most beautifulist badass plane of w.w.2 that Benz power horse whistling supercharger a real thing of beauty..just like all German engineering Benz b.m.w Audi v.w group.ect ect..what more can I say🙏👌👌🤟🤟👍👍

    Americans used to celebrate the whistle of their planes like the Corsair do... it seems they never heard this beautifull war machine and his feared real whistle of power and precision !!!

      Funnily enough the British continued to use Messerschmitts for the whole war and long after (The 108 was a popular civillian/liaison plane).

    The top German ace, Erich Von Hartman had 352 aerial victories while the top US ace had 42 and the top British ace had 38. Hans Yucheme Marsele who died in an aerial accident and not a dogfight shot down 17 aircraft in a single day! Almost half the total of the British ace had done in 5 years! There were 103 German aces with over a 100 aerial victories. Two dirty little secrets about why the Me109 ate American P-51D's and Spitfires for breakfast was the fact that the Me109 had automatic drop down leading edge slats thus ensuring a tighter turn, never mentioned in the Western media. The other reason was that the DB601-605 diesel engine, while having almost the same horsepower had about 70% more torque being diesel thus ensuring a tighter turn and a faster dogfight climb.
    That was a pre ordained calculation that Germany was going to lose the war as that had only about 3% of the wealth that Britain, USA and Russia had as well as the wealth of over a 120 nations in NWO banks. Towards the end of WW2 this disparity became very apparent. Have no doubt about that, the Germans had much better aircraft and machines. I'd also like to say that the Spitfire was not the better fighter in the battle of Britain in Autmn 1940. The real reason was the limited fuel endurance of the 109. A red light came on in the cockpit during a dogfight, indicating the Me109 head for France, otherwise would Me109 would have to ditch in the English channel. The Me109 also had the speed record for a propeller aircraft from 1939 to 1969. Had Germany not been banned from making aircraft after WW2, I augur the speed record would still have been with Germany,

      Yes factual, there's another little secret that isn't known that the Allied pilots were told not to engage German fighters in a turning battle for that same reason. The BF109 would turn inside the Mustang's and Spitfires.

      Incorrect. The DB601/605s were fuel injected petrol engines. The 109 outclimbed all early war allied planes but was outturned by the spitfire (and in higher speeds also P51). The 109 could beat them both in a vertical fight but it takes an expert pilot. The turn rates of all major WW2 planes are well documented by the NACA tests performed by captured or post-war samples. Both the Spitfire (excluding a couple of special variants) and the Hurricane (same deal) could outturn the Me109 in a sustained turn. But the 109 could easily escape the hurricane and early war spitfires in a spiraling climb or a max efficiency climb, the 109 could climb at the same speed where the spit/hurri could only fly level.

      The allied were instructed to cover the bombers which is why they would be stupid to start to turn fight and leave the bombers without escort.

    Is is a real BF109 G10? Or just a fucking copy build in spain?

      This G-10 was constructed with parts of a surviving original Bf-109 fuselage combined with wings from a post-war Spanish example. All other Bf-109G series that are currently airworthy were converted from Spanish Buchon aircraft.

      You can see it's got the DB engine, Buchons had a Merlin which makes the nose look entirely different.
