Hi Colin, fantastic video, and great photos of Seville. The different colours are very vibrant. I went there with the family in 2019, and this brings back allot of wonderful memories. Thank you. 🍊🍊🍊
Glad you liked it mate. We really enjoyed the timeout. Necessary sometimes such a good vibe in that city. We’ll be back. Still editing the Vienna video from Xmas.
I keep seeing this video and I am influenced to return to Spain after 10 years, now I will go to Madrid because Seville from here for now was too complicated with the plane changes, this video is beautiful
Thanks so much for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I met a guy who actually flew into Madrid and then got a train over to Seville. Not sure what that trip would be like but I love trains personally. You might like some of my ireland videos too of the west coast. 🙏
Colin - Some beautiful images from Spain. Thanks for taking us along. I don’t think I’ve been out shooting in ages. The news jobs twice a week yes but they are starting to get old after 45 years.
Kirk, I hear you. I've been up the walls here which has made proper edits. I know TH-cam does not reward inconsistency so I'm going to attempt the 1 per week idea! I need to figure out some lighting so I can do some talking videos. The walk around are great but when the storms move in you just can't shoot in that really. Austria video on the way! Film and snow!
Wow…I went to Spain in 1977…Madrid, Seville, Toledo, Granada, Costa Del Sol. I only had a 110 Kodak film camera then. Now, with a Leica, I really want to go back. It is a beautiful soulful land.
Hi Mate, wow that's cool you went to those place. I want to go to Granada and Toledo. Maybe next year. What Leica re you shooting? I think even without the camera it's awesome, I actually was not intending to shoot a video but decided with the light I had to shoot a short video! as I had the camera out anyhow!
Same. I had not been to Spain in at least 15 years was I was based on the other side of the World! Seville back then stuck in my mind and it was as stunning the second time around. I've never tried the Canon AE1. I'd live to give it a go sometime. Thanks for tuning in.
Thanks, yes actually in this video I think my favourite are the black and white images. I like the layers in the mushroom shot, in the full res file you can make out the little people below. Next video I've black and white film from Austria.
Kevin when somebody says they find it relaxing, I take it as the ultimate compliment :) Thank you! A couple of really nice videos from Austria on the way.
I love Seville. Though last time I was the re was in Feb 2018, the temp still hit 26C. I have never taken a camera there, though. Too much culture and good food and wine.
It’s a fun place. It’s just so different to where I’m from. A lovely break from Northern European winter too! It’s definitely amazing light for a camera. I sort of felt it’s impossible to do the city justice but I hope I have a taster. 🙏 thanks for tuning in mate. Appreciate it
Paul I'm enjoying the M10-R a lot! More resolution that anyone needs imo! zero issues with it. I do think the colours are very true to how I saw it in person, which is nice as the video should try give you a feel for the real scene! Thanks for tuning in mate.
What witchcraft is this? I've just picked up an M10R, I'm sitting here eating a new batch of marmalade (you know, those Seville oranges..) and up pops your channel with this episode. Either serendipity or you know - the screens have ears! I'll go with the former! Enjoyed your vid immensely - the warmth of those earthy tones and a quietly engaging presentation. I'll subscribe, but may I ask what what metering you tend to use on the M10R? I get the vibe of your channel isn't 'camera club' and tech, but I'm new to Leica. Cheers fella and keep up the great content - I know how hard it must be for small channels to break the algo, but this sort of content is so valuable amongst the big, commercial platforms.
Mate enjoy the m10R and the marmalade. I’m a sucker for some proper thick cut marmalade. I’m glad the algo served my channel up to you. I’m absolutely not a pure tech channel for sure but I do shoot mostly rangefinders. I don’t look at the numbers of views or likes much as I just love making the videos. But your correct, if your not really targeting searches terms and doing gear you don’t get the impressions from the algo. I just hope somebody who we watches the videos can relax for a few minutes and they get something form it. I really enjoyed my first talking head video on the m8.2 and I’ve a one coming soon which is more about the feeling you get doing photography. So I may get 5 views 🤣!!! Thanks for subscribing mate. Where you based? The encouragement is lovely and I really appreciate it 🙏
Cheers fella - I'm in Northumberland in the North of England - some very similar landscapes to your local haunts (I now see, having watched a few more of your vids). A lot of rolling hills, plenty of wet, foggy farmland and drystone walls, including a dirty big Roman one! I'm really enjoying the rangefinder - its given my photography a new lease of life, so very inspiring seeing you getting great shots in a similar landscape that's more Burren National Park/Butter Road than Seville! Keep up the great content - your love for place and shot really comes through.@@colinosullivan
@@jameshoward9700 being completely honest I’ve learned this past year the places I likes to shoot most are my home area. It’s where all my long term projects are and I just feel comfortable doing those each week. I think you might like my video “a morning mountain walk with my Leica m8.2”. That’s an area I love to shoot in. It’s just off the butter road and also the “one frozen camera” video is shot pretty close to there. Yes the range finder sort of got me loving photography again. I know everyone’s different but for me I love it. Haven’t been to northumberland but someday. 3 videos in the editing stages right now. Two from Austria and one locally here. Which one will get here first I don’t know hahaha

Thanks for reminding me about my own good times in Sevilla. Fabulous place. . .
It has an amazing atmosphere that’s for sure. We’ll be back. Thanks for watching.
I’m envious indeed. I long to visit Seville again; such a beautiful city. Perhaps this year.
It’s a beautiful city. The last time I was there it was 40C and summer. November was a lot more manageable for me! Glad you tuned in.

Fabulous video. Thank you. Let’s see you in spain again with the m8.
Thanks for watching the video mate. Oh I'll be back there for sure. Very soon! M8 wold be perfect for it with those colours!

Thanks mate. Glad you liked it. All is well thankfully!!! Austria video next week should be a fun edit. ;)

@@colinosullivan the Alhambra in Granada is a photographer’s dream.
It's been a long time since I walked around Spain with my old Canon AE1. Maybe someday...

I wish i was there !! Thanks for sharing my Colin :)
Thanks mate. Your helpful in keeping me inspired with your mono work 🍻
Very relaxing to watch. Thankyou.

Nice one buddy. Meet you in Granada - I reckon we could have some fun there, and you could always bring your camera too 🍻
Oh man I wish buddy hehe. A few cool ones and catch ups. :)

Gorgeous colours from the Leica. Could easily be Kodachrome 64.
