Your story retelling is EPIC! I just subscribed, this was the best most straight forward recap of The Eminence In Shadow I found on here that was both entertaining and easy to understand!

nice one i couldn't follow the story of eminence in shadows because i have a very bad habit of doing multiple things at a time so i thougth it was an avg anime but people keep saying eminence is the shadow is so underrated and after watching this video yeah i also think its under rated
yeah i thought so at first too, but its definitely way more refined than most isekai. it does a great job of going against the common stereotypes (cid could easily be the invincible main character but he avoids it and lets those around him drive the story) and also develops all of the bazillion side characters with an interesting personality and storyline, which is hard to do imo

Small mistake 5:07 . Cid doesn't try to pull the sword, he pushes it down to make it seem like he is struggling . Shadow managed to fool you too into not knowing he is a decent of the heros
