    Why can’t I get the engine cover off? I’ve banged on it with a mallet and nothing

    I just want to learn sit downs? Do I really need this if I’m not doing 12 o’clocks and rev bombs?

    Hey, is not necessary to change to clutch spring?

      I have no idea, and it's not the cheapest thing to buy just to try either!

    Do them 2 bolts need to be torqued on the oil spinner?

    How much was it delivered to the UK?
    Do you have concerns that it bypasses the screen filter?

      Regularly checking your pre screen for dirt and cleaning the oil spinner is recommended.
      I have heard rumours there will be a uk distributor soon 👀

    what diameter is the pipe?

    Since I have installed the oil pump with the pick up mod, the oil got very foamy. I guess the pump is sucking some air while riding wheelies which is causing the foam. Is this supposed to be like that? Is there something you can recommend me doing to prevent this?

    • @boosteddiesel1834

      My bet would be that your modified pump copper pipe isn’t fully seated in the pump groove and the two half’s of the pump won’t be fully sealed together, this allows air to be drawn in. You shouldn’t ride your bike with foamy oil as the pressure will be down.
      There are a number of issues with using this type of modified pump. Firstly the copper pipe doesn’t quite fit between the two half’s and this is what prevents it sealing right.
      Next issue is with this type of modified pump is that when it draws oil up it does so directly to the pump bypassing the area in the sump that’s designed to catch any sludge before it goes to the pump. It also bypasses the filter screen which is alarming to me. All the crud he found in his screen in this video will now go through the pump and into all the oil ways that are in the block, head, cams etc when those little bits block those oil ways the engine will soon wear out and die.
      The real answer to solving the “wheelie oil starvation problem” is much more complicated and time consuming to do and requires opening up the “whole” engine. The original oil pick up point hole near the drain plug inside the engine can be “tapped” and a copper pipe with a union can be secured into the hole that way. With this mod all original oil system stuff is still in place as standard just with the new pick up extension extending to the rear of the sump.

    We're can I buy one

    • @boosteddiesel1834
      @boosteddiesel1834 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dont. If it isn’t sealed right it fills the oil with air bubbles, f**ks oil pressure and your engine.

    Do you drain the oil first

      If you tip the bike onto its side you dont need too, as it all sits on the opposite side

    • @Cranked-up-racing
      @Cranked-up-racing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Although this oil was quite fresh, if your oil has been in for a while then you may as well drain and put fresh in
