Just what we needed, our pups love to rip the wires out under our cars while playing, very costly repair, but with this it will give us peace of mind. Thanks for the vid,
I need a few of those to keep people out of my garden this year. I have a back gate that goes to a park and people help themselves to all my goodies, crazy. Putting green is looking great, I am thinking of doing the same, but you are my guinea pig on this one. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the reply on the sprayer tips.
Jimmy, I have one still in the box that I purchased 2 months ago, can't wait to start using it. I have dogs that come into my lyard and do their business.. They also like to scratch their feet in my mulch beds and it scatters the mulch all over my lawn. Now you got me wanting to get a camera to capture that awesome event when it happens lol
They definitely worked for me. My neighbor's cat was driving me crazy and yes I also tried all of the other so called pest remedies to no avail. But this item is wonderful!! It is like having a few snipers laying between my hedges waiting for 4 legged trespassers. Maybe I went to far with the last comment but they do work and have given me much needed peace of mind (Although it has stolen a lot of my wife's joy watching me lament over the cat getting the best of me day after day. Such is life. He who laughs last.......). Although I am wondering what I am going to do once it gets too cold to keep the sprinkler on. Suggestions welcomed!!!
I have two (2) of these sprinklers. One like yours and one that came with a Tri-Pod stand. I love them both. However, one of them quit working. I checked the batteries and all kinds of stuff to see what was wrong. I even switched heads with the other one and concluded that the brain (the little box with the small wire) quit working on one of them.
That sprinkler definetly does the trick! Only issue in my household is one of my cat loves water and plays with it so the sprinkler would be a reward for him. Now my other one hates it so this sprinkler would definitely scare her away.
I have a cat that loves water too, but on HER terms! Meaning, I imaging the sudden sharp force of the spray would be startling to even water loving cats lol
I think the valve is at the bottom where you have the sensor mounted low. Yet the intake valve and sprinkler are mounted above that. I’m having trouble figuring out if there is always pass through water pressure (possibility of running 2 off the same main faucet).
I was gonna suggest this. I have a neighbors cat pooping on my lawn, which is a pain on the reel mower for obvious reasons. Put one of these in a few months ago. Works wonders. Every morning my son asks me, daddy, did you catch any cats?
Hi, what was your sensitivity setting on it when you recorded the cat? The manufacturer claims that it should detect the movement up to 40ft or so. Same as your children were as close as 10ft to the sprinkler before activation.
@@JimmyLewisMows definitely call ahead of time and double check. But I was just there on Wednesday and they had some 50lb bags on a pallet when I grabbed a few
I need this! I never knew it existed until now. I have just been setting my sprinkler timer to kick my sprinklers off every 20 mins to scare the birds away from my grass seed. This will work even better. It’s amazing what measures we will go to when we get fed up with something. Are the cats yours or your neighbors?
I don't have any cat problems but I do have the tire tracks on the grass after I use my Timemaster. I cut around 1pm every Tues or Thurs. I never cut the same day if it rained earlier. My lawn is not dry or too wet. I cut it at 2.75-3.25 inches, and I alternate the pattern that I mow. I am stumped.......Anyone have any suggestions. BTW.......grass is mostly Ryegrass.
I have a couple areas in my backyard like that too. Try overlapping your patterns. Make your first pass as normal, then your second pass will straddle the outside wheel mark of your first pass. That will establish your new line for the rest of the yard. Hope that makes sense.
I really like this Jimmy , wondering if I should buy this to keep the Mailman and Amazon guys from crossing my lawn from time to time , Thanks for the review on the sprinkler.
You could leave out cold water or a snack, and be a good human instead. Those folks work HARD for you to have a convenient life; you don't need to make it harder.

@@trevormuggeridge4560 Good Saturday morning mate. Finally had a sunny and warm day here today. Birds are chirping and the ghost lawn is doing well. How is your day looking
Striperman, Good Friday evening to you , slightly cloudy ,nice bird chirping day here heading for 26 max, good to see spring your way , the ghost lawn will be forgotten and your new lawn established. 😎

Cayenne wax pepper it’s in a spray bottle, may help remind them that they don’t like your yard.::
I’m going to use this to deter strange people from my lawn at night.

I got the one by Black & Decker. They both stopped sensing good after only a couple weeks. 😢

Yup. Shed build 🙂

Nice, simple tool - thanks for sharing 🙂
A motion detector sprinkler is really the only deterrent that works.
The ultrasonic units don't.
Need this for rabbits! Awesome!

It’s a nice idea but I’m concern about the “water bill” part. How long I should leave the water hose on? Does it need to be on 24 hours?
Bb gun or paint ball might work also.
Where did you purchase the brass cap you mentioned?
Just show me how to move the motion sensor down, I cant figure out how to hook it up!!!!!!
does it detect animals at when it's pitch black?
Curious about the motion range, that cat was darn near 3-4' from the unit before the sprinkler tripped. Did you have it on a close range setting?
Yes it’s adjustable
Can you adjust the range of water DISTANCE. I don't need 35 ft of range. Just a few feet .
Yes you can adjust the range.
@@JimmyLewisMows nice. Thanks.
How long you leave hose on
We have some bagged leveling sand out here at the Tooele Home Depot location
I'd make a trip out there for that.

The link to the camera is wrong
Fixed it. Thanks, John!
