I can’t believe these are different watches. I also can’t believe in the entire video there’s no shots if both watches side by side, it feels like trolling 😂
I'm so glad to see someone making a good stance for the BB41. Everyone seems to gush all over the BB58 and I don't deny it's appeal, but the 41 always gets overlooked. Even more so since the 54 came along. Sure she is a thick and rather heavy watch but I love mine and would never part with it.
Excellent video! Having owned the 41 first and selling for the 58 I discovered the vast differences in how these watches wear and and feel on wrist. 58 = vintage size/style, 41 = vintage inspired with modern sizing and touches. But there’s also major differences in the details and personality of these watches. For instance, the differences in stem tubes of the 41 models is essentially the the only thing besides the bezel colors that would differentiate them so Tudor had to add the color. With the 58’s Tudor has gone the extra step to make every model completely unique within the model range. The evolution of the brand continues, and it’s been fun to watch. Again, awesome job on the details cheers🍻
I did the same. The 41 was just too heavy on the wrist. The only thing I liked better on the 41mm was the bezel. I prefer the silver over the gold but the 58 feels so good on the wrist.
Good video Harrison Your experience is very similar to mine back in December 2018, I liked both and was unsure until I had both side by side, now I know wrist size is probably the only reason to pick one over the other as both beautiful watches but for me the 58 just looked feminine next to the 41 and to dainty for my wrist.....I love my bb 41 and for me it was the right choice
It would be a hard decision between those two beautys. Maybe I would prefer the BB 41 with the red bezel. But my grail watch is actually the Pelagos 39, not only because of the size. I like that clean no date look and the black color.
I recently went to try both on the wrist and much preferred the black bay, the larger size was much nicer to me and I don't have large wrists by any stretch. The 58 just seemed to be too small for me
You cannot have one but not the other. You must get them both as they fit into each other in the collection like a matching jigsaw puzzle. There are some occasions where a smaller watch suit best and some occasions where larger thicker watch suit better. For me whenever I go out in shorts or sport wear I will wear my BB58 blue. But when I'm wearing long jeans I will put on my BB41 blue bezel. And I changed the steel bracelet of my BB41 to the rubberB rubber strap (making it feels like the omega seamaster in rubber strap). Great video btw. I have always enjoyed how you talk and present the watches.😀
Now, Tudor pls put the mt5400 in the bb41 (12mm, 21mm lug width and 48.5mm L2L you know the drill) + the new P39 bracelet n its on-the-fly adjust. Thanks for the vid, man.
I agree with you. I have a 7in wrist and had the 41mm but it was too heavy so I sold it for the 58 and it wears so well. I barely notice I have it on. The only thing I like better on the 41 is the color on the bezel. Ultimately you can't go wrong with either depending on your preference.
Personally, I think they’re both great watches, but I would probably go with a 58 on this one, mainly because of one experience I had with the black bay 42. I saw one at work back when I was working with a storage company. The guy was generous enough to let me try it on, it felt twice as heavy, and as thick as my omega Seamaster that I was wearing that day. Granted, they could just be his particular model, but it felt like it was made out of solid lead just from the weight alone. It could just be his particular model go.
I prefer the 41mm diameter, but I wish the current Black Bay diver 41 wasn't so thick. Clearly they can pack 70 hours of power reserve, etc. into a smaller movement. Why can't the 41 be thinner? I personally think the 41 line is ready for a revamp to be thinner, and add the T-fit clasp. I would be all over it if that was the case. I personally found the BB GMT to wear thinner due to the little upper cut/bevel along the bottom of the case. The Pelagos even wore better thanks to the lightness and helium escape valve breaking up the slab side. I find I want something a bit bigger than the 58. It's not bad, just not as satisfying, but I've bot an 18.4cm wrist and am 2.01m tall. Obviously the 58 works for a lot of people.
I feel exactly the same about my 41 Black Bay and Tudor itself. You’d think they can make it a bit thinner. If they ever do, I’ll sell it for the thinner version. For now I’m holding on to it. I enjoy it but wish it wasn’t so thick.
I bought the BB41 black and newer / in house MT5602 calibre version. And even its thickness is almost non-recognizable when you wear on your wrist.. I like my choice as BB58 is too hyped and BB41 is much less around. Works perfectly for me ;) PS. And if I were to choose one 39mm Tudor only, it would be the Pelagos. Just my personal taste..
Great video comparison . I’ve the 58 original & silver, also the 41 red bezel eta version & 41 in house. Always a pain trying to choose. But at heart I’m a omega fanboy.
I want a black bay but can't tolerate the 15mm thickness, why on earth can't they make it the same thickness as the 58 if they both have the same movement?
I have a 7" wrist and I went for the 58. Living in London, being able to slide it under a tight cuff and go unnoticed is a god send. Plus it's a strap monster. This and the GS Snowflake, my two watch combo. Love it!
You forgot to mention, that the BB and BB58, have different movements. The BB has older, slightly larger MT5602 with 25 jewels. And the BB58 has newer, slightly smaller MT5402 movement with two additional jewels.
I tried both on and actually went with the 58 in the long run because of the thickness, 14.8mm thick is making my Omega Seamaster look slim. 2mm in diameter bigger but 2mm in thickness bigger is a big step up and makes it disproportionate imo. Plus, yes these are considered tool watches, but these are very much dressy divers in looks. The 58 can slide under the cuff much easier than the 41. I have a big wrist also, at 71/3 inches… the 41 diameter is better for me in a diver. Once again tho, these are pulling their dna from the days of more vintage and dressier divers that were smaller. The 58 for that reason fits the part more. I would also have no shame in wearing the 58 on a jubilee bracelet. As I think that the smaller the watch, the smaller the links on the bracelet should be to compliment it’s appearance. That’s my rant and I did loose a little money making this decision, so I got some wear time with both of them…
There is a 10grams difference in weight after weighing my BB41, is it that yours on full links ? however just weighing the watch by it self by removing the bracelet , i get 90grams from my scale
Hello everyone! Please, can someone confirm what color the Black Bay 41 Heritage has the minute and hour hands and text on the dial? Rosegold or yellow gold? I can't ser the difference on the video. Thank you!!
Why you did not put the damn watches on the screen side by side to show the difference instead of showing each of them seperately which are almost impossible to understand the differences ?
I've tried to like the Tudor BB and BB58 but they both leave me cold. The dials and bezels and hand sets just don't do it for me at all. Too many watches out there to settle for ones that don't inspire you.
For anyone without complexes about watch sizes, the BB58 is a no brainer...the 58 is much more comfortable to wear, the 41 really has deficits in that regard...proportionally the BB58 is also more coherent. The overall vintage style does situch better with the classic sizing. Also 22 mm lug width on the 41 is a no go for me...I hate 22 mm bands.
Thumbs down. This dude doesn't respect your time. One minute twenty seconds in and all he did was repeat the same thing again and again. Respect people's time dude
Nah still a Rolex wannabe half sibling. Identity crisis brand trying hard to mimic bigger brother but always a thing or 2 off. You just can't shake off the sub, gmt, op look alikes from their entire lineup. Would rather buy something else.

Just found this channel, amazing. The best comparison I’ve seen so far. Thank you!
Thank you!
Great Video! I have the smaller wrist size so my choice is the 58.Thankyou for the great advice. You have made purchasing a Tudor much more easy.
Love the Gilt Bezel on the 58 but the size
Of the 41. Wish they made a 41mm version of the Black BB58
I love both models so I bought both - the black Bay 58 in black and the black Bay 41 with blue bezel and matte black dial. Fantastic watches
Good video Harrison

Luckily, I was not swayed by you. I decided to buy the 41mm Black Bay for my big wrist. It's not that thick and heavy. I really love it.
I recently went to try both on the wrist and much preferred the black bay, the larger size was much nicer to me and I don't have large wrists by any stretch. The 58 just seemed to be too small for me

Hi! Love the video! Would you recommend the BB58 or the BB Heritage in burgundy?
Another detail is the rosegold coloured minutemarkers and text on the 41 mm as opposed to the guilt coloured on the 58.

Till what year the 41 with the ETA movement was produced before they switched to the in house?
I don't like how many of Tudor's watches have the crown sticking out. That's why I'm going to go with the Pelagos 39.

If the 58 came with a red bezel like the 41s, it would be a no Brainerd for me
For me it had to be the 41mm heritage with black bezel. I don’t like the coloured indices on the bezel. I love my Black Bay
Looks like the Sub no date too much. The red is more unique but that’s just my preference. Great watch !

58 all day for me. I’ve got a larger wrist but the 41 is way too thick, makes it seem cheap and inelegant.
The fake hand held movement making me dizzy as hell man is that intentional?
When a 140 something gram watch becomes to heavy for your wrist I think you need to start having a word with yourself.
BB 58 All Day! 😌
Lemme get the pelagos 39 instead. It looks like a toy but I still love it😮💨
I have a 7.75 inch wrist, so I dont have an option 😢
