Yo, don't the dragon kin remind you at leas ta little of the Magma wyrms? It's the size and shape of their wings along with their multiple rows of teeth that really do it for me.
I looked up a pronunciation video on how to pronounce Mac Eochaidh and Eochaidh sounds like, "Yo hach(like mach)." Also the, "Eoc," part is the part that means horse. So it kind of means horseman or maybe horseland. I wonder if that means that Elemer is actually connected to the Kaiden sell swords at all. They kind of fight like him. Also Tolkien had a group of horse riders called the, "Éothéod," who were the ancestors to the Rohirrim or Riders of Rohan.
