Can I keep the HU Unit as it is? Do I need to take something out? Maybe an Install how to video would be great :)

You guys forgot about one other benefit to this barrel. You can adjust hop on the fly without removing the slide. No need to take out the magazine which is great for HPA guys. And you can adjust while shooting to get the perfect hop. No need to take the slide off and mag out 12 times to dial in your hop.

They are super easy to install and you get instant, noticeable differences to performance, especially when you use heavier BBs! - Marck

Mine is terrible, the TDC hop adjusting screw keeps backing itself out. This was an expensive upgrade and although an excellent idea, it is utterly useless as it just doesn't work....

hey hey! Marck here. So it's worth nothing, that once you have found your sweet spot, it's important you put a little lock tight in there to hold it in place. It what I do to anything that requires "screwing in" for a fit or adjustment. That works for me and a lot of my friends I have met that bought this part. - Marck

So you are saying that when I find the right spot then I glue the screw in place?? That is completely unacceptable as you should be able to adjust the hop at all times. Especially if you are changing BB weights or even if you want to clean and service the unit. In addition, the instructions in the Laylax fitting video are explicitly clear that you do not glue or thread-lock the TDC screw in place. I am sorry, but you have a major design floor here. I have sent my unit back for a full re-fund. This is very bad for such an expensive item@@LayLaxInternational

Locktite comes in different grades. You should use Medium. The screws are still adjustable easily, but wont turn on their own. But thats kind of the basics when you start screwing around with custom guns 😂 ​@@JamesSlade-dh3hh
