Did Red Pill Just Exploit Your Insecurities?

  • The Red Pill bubble has officially burst. Whether it be the demonetization of Fresh n Fit or Andrew Tate's fall from peak relevance, it's become clear that many men who were fully entranced with the grift have started to return to normalcy. But was Red Pill a complete fraud from the beginning in order to sell courses? Or are there some golden nuggets we can take away from the philosophy as a whole?
Joining me today to discuss this today is the founder of @PlayingWithFireChannel and nuanced critic of Red Pill thought leaders.

I'm in The Real World (Andrew Tate's course) and I've learned to make 4 times more money than the average man in my country. Do I agree with everything he has ever said? Of course not. But calling him a ''get-rich guru'' wouldn't be fair. The Real World is a really good product and I was honestly surprised that it only cost 50$

I’d say a lot of it is true, particularly what is taken from evolutionary psychology, the issue I have with it is that certain content creators take that info and weave an insidious narrative into it, an example: yes women can and do cheat, ok, so content creators will go ahead and tell all the emotionally hurt men hanging on to their every word that every woman has a secret alpha at her work who is railing her constantly who she absolutely loves while your at home supporting her with your beta bucks. They purposefully leave out nuance to rile up the men who are listening, then create content that shits on women, showing the most extreme case of some dumb woman who chooses to broadcast herself on TikTok crying about how hard post wall dating is, and the men eat it up because it confirms the bias they’ve been fed by these red pill guys, and they hate watch these videos like it’s almost a form of revenge. I’ve learned a great deal, particularly about hypergamy which has been useful, but unfortunately it’s being tainted by these grifters who desperately want to be that 1% alpha

Yeah they say 1 truth & then say 20 lies & people focus on the 1 truth that triggers them & then fall in line believing the rest without research. Imo if some 1 says 1 truth & 20 lies they’re unreliable liars. But then their base will say “hey at least they’re bringing attention to this & this issue”. Actually having a liar as the face of their movement hurts their movement. Most of RP faces are grifters just looking for the base audience viewership.

This was as a teenager in the early 2010's.
Somewhere along the way things changed, it all went mainstream and the money came to the forefront. I see something that genuinely helped me has been bastardised for profit and it's sad.
Young men NEED help right now and the redpill was a vital part in the journey of me becoming the adult I am proud to be, but this was only achieved by understanding the nuance, reading outside of the redpill extensively and maintaining the mentality of a student of life at all times, not merely letting the ideology tied to the valid teachings within the redpill take hold.
We need to take what is valuable and abandon the "movement" that it has become, just as some of the egalitarian truths of 1st wave feminism were valid and respectable, there is always truth in any given perspective, making the corrupted ideology as a whole all the more seductive.

Sad. People aren’t meant to face life’s challenges or joys alone. The most important thing a human person could ever have is a true and lasting connection with a mate. There is no reason other than societys push to change peoples natural desire to have a life partner not to get married. Apparently the only reason that anyone should have any lasting relationships or make important decisions about their life is purely based upon the benefit to yourself. If it is financially beneficial it’s a do, if their is no benefit to you personally then it’s a don’t. Sad. I think it’s sad.

Honestly, young men having sex later in life is a good thing. There is no reason to have sex at ages 12 or 16. Yes, you can have sex then. Yes, you should use contraception. But where I do agree with the abstinence movement - abstinence is the only foolproof way to not get pregnant (rape aside, which fortunately doesn't happen often). If you have sex you can get yourself or your partner pregnant. So the decline in birth rates which stems from a decline in teenage pregnancies is a totally good thing. And honestly what is so bad about boys/men having their first time with a trusted partner at age 20? Personally (woman) I first had sex with my partner at age 18 and even felt pushed by society because all others were younger. Generally teenagers shouldn't get pregnant at all. I don't want to say teenagers shouldn't have sex - in my opinion they shouldn't but one cannot forbid it and it is better if the kids are well educated and dare tell their parents. But for me the only valid reason to put teenagers on the pill is a) the horrible pain from menstruation - that one is really bad or b) acne or other health related issues. Yes, if the teen in question has sex the pill is the best option/or IUD/implant/whatever. But waiting until 20 or 22 is perfectly fine. Kids don't drink in the US until 21. And while I am not completely sure about what I would allow kids/teenagers and what not - sex requires a certain emotional maturity.

For that I think you should teach us through certain events and current affairs, but not in a disorderly way as you usually do. You should aim at a specific topic and affairs around it.

Red pill is no different, but it does not lessen the truth of the message just the same. My only problem with red pill is that men need to concentrate on their own purpose and leave all the hate and resentment of women alone. Learn from your mistake with women, don’t repeat it with another one ,and just move on. No need to be bitter, just be better. Never idolize a woman to the point you lose yourself in her.
