I’m crash coursing my way through the ex era one worlds at a time
I have a very long-term goal to build 2-4 physical decks that represent the meta for every year of the tcg. Videos like this get me excited to keep collecting the cards for it.
Awesome goal, I have the worlds decks but not all lists stand the test of time, so making your own is a great approach
Rs to pk and 2010 format would also be great formats to cover! Love the retro content !

Man this is so good to see, the history of the game is so interesting to look back on and see how things changed over the years. Can't wait to see you cover things in the BW era, that was always my favorite and those years are special to me.
These earlier ones are a real exploration for me, from mid-dp era I’ve been playing so can give a lot more depth of meta game and decklist choices

I love playing retro formats in CCGs it's so fun. The biggest thing that makes this so much better is the ability to play hundreds of games of testing effeciently
The older formats seem so cool... nowadays decks feel much more similar just hyper consistent big basic beat stick decks
It’s a strange one, kinda rags or riches at times whether or not you get the stevens advice or delcatty, but when both players draw reasonably the gameplay is awesome
Super nice content, would really love seeing more like this. I had to look up cards while the video played, so maybe just put the most important cards bigger on screen? Abilities were too small to read lol

I have only played the old ex era in cube, which is obviously not comparable, but I really like the strategies designed for the old cards. Many different attacks and effects back then. Might try out the tournament and I would love more retro content.
Also turns out I almost own the entire Gardevoir and Blaziken lists so that's nice.
Gonna be honest, as someone who jumped in competitive late sm early swsh these lists seem crazy, might try it for fun
Most stage 2s play pretty similarly it’s a relatively quick format to learn and there are tonnes of fundamentals at work
