This is something we are eager to explore at locals this summer. We need some alt format, and an Eternal one is something that has been enticing for quite sometime.

When I saw a pidgey that was searchable by miridon, I laughed out loud.

Is there a ruling for D valley and the TMs? I would think it doesn't reduce the cost as it's an attack a psychic pokemon is using and not an actual attack of that pokemon. Similar to how Dipplin can't use a TM twice because it's not an attack of the Dipplin. I guess it could be a mistranslation like Radiant Charizard though.

wouldn't the Fighting type Baltoy from DRX be a bit better than the SSH one? the former makes your opponent shuffle draw 4 as an attack, which could be really good to stall your opponent if you have no other options. it does have 60 as opposed to the SSH one's 70, which does make it susceptible to Lost Mine, but I'd say it's a fair trade-off.

The problem is that attack is kinda just bad. It only affects them, so it could just end up helping them. But worse, it requires [C][C] which means you're either attaching twice or are wasting a special energy on it. If you are hoping to use any Baltoy's attack, Baltoy SIT and Baltoy GE are both better, but they only have 50HP.

What is the benefit of Unown -E [E] over Marshadow outside of decks with Professor Elm’s Lecture? Marshadow may be a double-edged sword for consistency, but it’s excellent for disrupting your opponent, and on occasions when your opponent would rather see a new hand, they would just choose to shuffle anyways if you benched Unown -E [E].

      Unown isn't banned.

Oh. That would make a big impact on which gets played.
Me: *Wonders why the 150+ card ban list isn’t showed in the video.*
Also me: *Doesn’t just check the ban list on the website.*

@@Charmaster04I plan to explore the ban list in the future, likely over a series of videos. It was out of scope for this video, which already broke the 30min mark.

For sure explore the ban list. I think quite a few cards are self explanatory! But maybe a handful need some context for the uninitiated

How is Iono not strictly better than N? You don't have to re-draw any of the cards you chose to shuffle away, guaranteeing a completely fresh grip, and you're guranteeing that none of the cards you are forcing your opponent to shuffle away are going to be redrawn.

There is a nuance to the choice and a deck will often run one of each. If you want to disrupt your opponent’s top deck (say they used Smooth Over before ending their turn), Iono isn't going to do anything. N will.
It's the same reason a lot of Mew VMAX decks were running both Marnie and Judge during Oranguru's heyday.
