Although I am comfortable in a woodland environment, its bloody tough to do it for an extended amount of time. I am with you Dave, home is the best place all the while its safe to do so.
@@theurbansurvivalist1141 I think in this " long term bugout " You're describing , it's important to carry somethlng to sleep ON ,IN AND UNDER . also , clothes for all seasons .... I'm hoping you're not suggesting that a vest and a 15 litre backpack is sufficient.
Nice one mate. Agree with your comments. Bugging out to the wild will come with many big challenges. As ex Forces guys will tell you a cold routine soon becomes a pain in the arse a big positive mental attitude is called for
I Am Extremely Lucky Being Welsh An Living Up A Huge Hill, I Only Have Walk 5 Mins An I Am In The Mountains, Lakes An Rivers Here. Trouble Is If All Goes To Crap Others Are Going To Want To Come Up Here. Then We Will Have Hide All Our Stuff. People Also Need Look Out For Adders, An Ticks, This Time Of Year Is Adder Time. Sheep Been Sheared Even More Ticks.
As you said, in the UK, its different. On the RUN is different from escape from the environment, earthquakes etc. In that situation I am heading for the safest town hall or school.
