I forgot how cheesy yet fun songs from that album were! I am glad Randy Rhodes left, he was too good and the band's concept didn't need a monster guitar player. I am going to revisit "Mentally Health" for some goofy 80s metal 😂 Great tone video as always!
Just came across your channel, I love your patches, there's some of the best I've came across. I would love to hear you create a live wasp Chris Holmes tone..... from the album live in the raw....
I was working on the tone for Animal awhile back. Maybe I'll work on that one again. It would probably sound about the same, only better. That's a pretty...well, raw live album.
FTR, on the original Cavazo stated in an interview that he used a Marshall MK II amp predominantly while plugging straight to the board for some cleans. In my experience I think the Boss does an awesome job of replicating the Plexi sounds for a low cost.
That's a good question. Maybe use this tone, but turn down the drive to see if you can achieve that just slightly dirty clean tone. Of the top of my head, I don't know if there is a delay in this tone, but in the song it sounds like there is a little tape delay echo going on.
@@anemicroyalty8764 I played with it this morning and I had to turn it down to the clean amp with the gain and boost still up a bit to kind of get there with the rest of it. I struggled with those weird chords at the beginning though before I had to get ready for work.

Thank you! You always nail it.
Could you please make a Nirvana clean and distorted tone tutorial?
What settings do you recommend for Don’t Wanna Let You Go? That is one of my all-time favorite songs.
