Man I’ve had the Katana MKII 100 1x12 for couple years and I’ll be damn if the TONE MASTER already is killing it with this amp! I only have a stupid Chromebook computer so I can’t update my katana or use the software I must find a capable computer 🤟🏻thanks for another awesome video you’re the Champ bro 🤟🏻
@@MKRISING75 I’ve had the 50 mk2 and it’s been amazing but don’t worry, I updated it on my MacBook even tho I use pcs for everything and now I can’t fix settings on my pc’s I can only fix settings with my Mac >.> so I got a katana air and luckily it works through your phone. Otherwise I’ve had bad luck being able to get my computers to recognize its existence.
Also, I really appreciate this. I’m still new to the amp world and need to learn more about creating tones, but I love these settings so I can practice without messing about the settings.

LAMPCHOPP, Try slaving amplifiers by using the marshall#1 line out goes into TWO compressors then into the input of marshall#2. Both marshalls amplifiers use parameters EQ in both effects loops, while slaving them. This is what EVH did try making a video lesson about it
I created a really amazing Tony Iommi early sabbath tone I'd love for you guys to check out. Ill create a demonstration video and see if you think its worthy. With a set of p90's my jaw absolutely drops! Unfortunately, I made it using the Katana Air, so I've pulled the trigger on a MKII head, and I'm going to recreate it using the 4x12 in the room and capture it with the DAW.

There’s also 30 “sneaky amps” hidden in the katana which include some pretty killer high gain ones. They can be downloaded online and imported into the boss tone studio. I’m curious to see how you would explore those

I have the mkii head and the katana 2x12 can, micing the cab sounds great too but it's alot more hassel
It's getting to the point where these companies should be paying you to promote their amps and pedals. I'm fairly certain you play a bigger role in the bedroom guitarists amp selection than their marketing alone. Recommend getting the 2 x 12 Katana combo and pair it with your Katana head using the stereo connection. Amazing wet and dry rig. Endless possibilities
Great job on the Marty solos! I've used a Katana as my "second amp" for a few years now and it's great. So convenient and sounds killer. In fact, the last gig I did, I ended up using an ABY pedal to bypass my boosted Marshall and switch to the Katana for cleans. I'd also happily rely on it as a backup. I bought a Positive Grid Spark and sold it almost immediately because it just couldn't compete with the Katana. My only complaint is that I wish it could store a few more presets. Oh, and Ollie is a legend!
Legend Your patches for katana are just perfect. I tend to overuse gain while creating mine and your definitely help me understand more about dialing in some great tones. Thank you.

Loved the tone for the floods solo… considering the whole range of effects, eq and pedals dime used, for something out of the box that tone was pretty much spot on!
Be a smart man, buy this amp. get rid of all your pedals and heavy tube amps. Plug and play ... grab and gig. be a smart man. The important thing is to play more instead of turning knobs

I checked them out and it seems the update for the MkII deleted them.
They load but all the tones are clean with no effect
