Great video! I appreciate how you kept the components in focus and went over the internal design in detail.
This is exactly what I needed in order to see where I could mount some joints for a custom headband!

Looking online for one, no it does not appear. Definitely won't buy bose again. Mine are as good as toast.

@@woodtvnetwork You could always get a rectangular li-po. Will be slightly smaller capacity but will work

looks like the battery is soldered in. I wonder if there is a way to add a simple connector for easier battery replacement for when the original gets old.

Which part controls the aux cable? I can only hear through the right ear when I plug headphones in and I'm trying to figure out what part needs fixing

It would be great to see a teardown of the Bose A20 noise cancelling aviation headsets to see how they work and are assembled.

Learned a lot by watching. No wonder BOSE sent them back to me and said they couldn't fix it. Everything is epoxied in place.

Retuned it to you to do what with it? Fix it yourself?? Very unserious company I should’ve stuck with Sony

@@adnanabdulrahman8001 They probably determined that it was not covered by warranty.
Bose does a lot of gaslighting (like Apple) in order to maintain a fake image of having "nearly perfect" products. When I ask on Bose forums about technical problems which many others on the forum are having too, Bose employees seem to like to give polite but annoyingly canned answers that are unhelpful and (in my opinion) intentionally not suggesting known workarounds because it might create the appearance of admitting a design flaw.
...but to their credit, in my experience, when they DO acknowledge an issue they are very good about doing recalls.

@@adnanabdulrahman8001 no kidding. I’m gonna be switching to Sony. One side just stopped working randomly after charging and they want $200 plus shipping and taxes to repair it. I bet these things don’t even cost $100 to manufacture.

It's listed as a 682341 battery on the battery markings. An iFixit guide used a 802040 as a replacement so that should work.
