Been a long time lover of WC ear pads and was sad when I didn't see them available for my new nc700s. Accidentally came across this video and it made my day. I can't wait to get WC ear pads for my headphones! Better quality than the originals. I can't believe I wasted money on original replacements that fell apart really fast. Once I found WC ear pads, I never had to buy another replacement.
Will there be different color/ styles available at launch like you have with you QC35 replacement ear pads?

That's the one I'm hoping to get, but worried the grey colors might not match. Knowing the quality of what I got before, I'm assuming they will match, but thought I'd ask.

@@WickedCushions I was afraid you were going to say that. That's what I get for purchasing the limited edition. Doesn't matter, I'll still order me some WC ear pads when it comes time. Even if they don't match.
Do you have a price range on how much these will be when they're released? Both my pads have magically split at the same time only 8 odd months into use, Not very impressed by Bose this time around. Are the NC700's splitting more than previous models? My QC35 lasted much longer & never had any issues.
No more than $20 :)
The NC700 are a little more "stuffed" lets call it like that which does cause the seams to split faster than the QC35.
Every glued seam eventually splits, that is why we add stitching on top of that

I've travelled a lot with my pair, the earmuffs were so damaged you could see the insides, they were so ripped. A week ago I finally ordered replacement earmuffs and the screen with r or l (dont remember the official name). I lost them in my room, and your video was so good, that I, a total beginner could do it in a short time.

The metal plate covering the speaker may indeed protect that speaker however, this is probably not it's primary function. Bose has been known to use acoustic reflective technologies in some of their past home speakers. I wouldn't be surprised that that is what is going on here. This way they don't need to worry if the speaker they made for these headphones comes out sounding a little too harsh because they can always just block its direct transmission into our ears with a primary obstruction and deflect those frequencies around the ear cup so as to make them mort palatable to the ear. Bose thinks outside of the box like this to fix what would ordinarily be a problem.

We think that these are by far their best headphones to date
is the leather on the wicked 700 pads similar to the Bose originals? I bought the xm3's wicked cushions, and the leather feels more plastic/rough than the Sony original, though the original was also not like very smooth. Have to say the Bose cushion leather feels more rubbery and nicer. Your xm3 thick memory foam was awesome but the leather material was a let down.
We still don't have Bose 700 ear pads but when it come out, we will also use PU leather same as our other ear pads.

Man after 2 years of use my cups are flaking and the stitching is coming undone. My beoplay h7 are 4 years old and they look brand new
Earpads wearing out is very random, it really depends on alot of things:
1) Could you have used the Bose 700 much more than the beoplay?
2) Could you have used the Bose 700 in a hotter environment / working out that might have made you sweat more in them?
3) Were the Bose 700 most of the time in their case / just on a table somewhere and the Beoplay in their case?
A lot of things could have happened that caused this
I need help... I accidentally peeled the tape that's at the bottom going into the speaker itself.... then I realized it was a wire or something that I broke???? Please advise what did I just break? My headphones appear to be working still but maybe the sound out of the right one isn't as good now as the left one.
If its all working, you should be fine, the L and R screen covers will protect it

My nc700 Bose headphone EarPods do not have the 6 “hooks” you illustrate in this video. The pads were glued to the headphone housings. These were purchased from Costco about 5-6 years ago. A different model of replacement pads?
Not sure why your Bose NC 700 headphones don’t have the hooks. The earpads we offer are designed for the standard NC 700 model with hooks on the earcups, and we don’t have other versions available.

(I wish I had known about your company prior to getting normal, baseline, plain black replacement pads...but you'd best believe when these fail on me in the future I will be getting a set of your black 90s arcade print! And I'm eyeing your other headphone items since I'm hunting for a new gaming headset anyway. Any chances of purple colorways in the future? )

Hi! my bose won't turn off what should I do? I tried holding the power button and it still wont turn off please help me.
The reason is that you are holding the power button. The Bose 700 power button works on a TAP, simple tap, don't hold it.

For some reason both my replacement pads (the inner ones) had the bottom glue pad just come off entirely regardless how much I tried to pick off only the surface part. For the other one it actually finally came off in a way that it left a white paper-like surface on the glue pad, which obviously was useless so I took that off entirely too
Was those pads from us?
@@WickedCushions Actually no, from a cheaper brand, thanks for pointing that out.
Previously replaced these about an year ago with a similar cheap brand and now they were already literally coming apart. If that happens again I'll actually look in to better brands like yours because I use my NC700's about 16 hours a day.

Thanks for the video. When I replaced my ear cups, I accidentally pressed on the metal piece that is protecting the speaker (at 1:55 in your video), and it is bent. It doesn't look like its touching, (I'm guessing its the speaker based on what you said in the video) behind the metal piece. How would I know if its damaged? Thanks.

Can I replace my bose 700 NC pads with the qc35 pads ? Cause i think qc35 is more comfortable than 700NC UNFORTUNATELY

Wicked Cushions i have Bought bose nc 700 3 days ago but it’s not comfortable this is shocking, thats why i asked you if i could replace the original 700 pads with the qc35 pads
@@AbdulelahCretu I understand, to some people that ear pad is a little too thin (Like it is for me), but there is no way the QC35 ear pads will fit the 700, the backside of it is completely different.
Wicked Cushions so there is no solution for this? Like what’s the difference between the original pads and the pads that you are guys going to make ?
@@AbdulelahCretu Ours are going to be thicker, wider and have a bigger opening for your ear.
Also the foam is going to feel a little different with ours :)

Just bought these headphone, I find my ears heat up quite quickly in these, will these ear cups help in reducing the fatigue and warmth ?
Personally they did a little bit for me, I would not lie, it still gets hot a little but not as much as the originals.
When these come out, we might try a version with a cooling gel material that will sit on top of the foam
Better for your eaes but they do reduce the noise cancelling
I've noticed this also. After replacing the amount of noise cancelling dropped tremendously...
If you notice too much NC loss, some the hooks may not be connected.
Also, I am assuming you are talking about our earpads, I cannot vouch for the quality of foam on other earpads

I can't vouch for the cheaper amazon one's.
I can only tell you the difference between OURS (which are coming in a month) & the originals.
The originals are going to be exactly the same as the ones you got.

Technically yes, but the L+R screens are going to be slightly larger.
But just wondering, why would you get the QC35 one's if we have a dedicated versions for the QC25?
