- I had a terrible surgery experience several years ago. What does this have to do with my thyroid nodules? Multiple complications determined that I had to find a nonsurgical alternative to thyroidectomy.
Three week update on my neck shrinking progress after RFA in mid July 2019.

Wow! I had post operative sepsis after my second to last surgery and I got MRSA from one many years ago (but I've had like 20 surgeries, so more often I do fine). I had no idea these options existed. I am still waiting for my biopsy results, but I've been symptomatic for a while and have Hashimoto's with hyperthyroid, which always throws others for a loop. My mom and my aunt were the same at my age though. My nodules are all one one side, so I am considering having that half removed regardless of the results, but the least invasive the better! Thank you for sharing!
Thank You Jen!
You are more than welcome. 🤗
Are you still on here? I have fear of this too...
I just had this procedure done.

@@rewatteefroimchuk8589 I didnt have any voice issues. I'm so sorry that you're dealing with that. What has the dr said?
@@ItsmeJenagain she Said that my nodule was almost on my voice box so maybe that's why I am hoarse..? The dr
Was Jennifer Kuo, Columbia University medical hospital in New York.
@@rewatteefroimchuk8589 that makes sense. Maybe with time it can heal. I hope so.
