I called into Art Bell and he picked it up. it’s true there wasn’t a screener. It was just “hello” and you were on the air across the country. I wanted to tell him about sleep paralysis. he seemed to think it was a rare freak thing. I wanted to emphasize how it was a common medical condition. He then spun it into part of the “quickening“ he talked about and wrote a book about. He was very generous with me given how nervous I was. Here in the Twin Cities they air old Art Bell episodes on Saturday night. I’m waiting to hear him pick up and answer my call again. I think it was 1995. Anyway, nice ride tonight. Looking forward to the next.
Just found you this evening Dan 3/23 2024 . Wow here in Decatur Illinois . Your drives are great. Reminds me so much of living in Chicago in the 1980s . Love the way you tell a story as well , and big balls to you going in the parks at night in this day and time.
I live 3 miles away from the Home Alone house, and I go there at Christmas. I took my kids there to see it and watch Home Alone with them. People live in it and they decorate it at Christmas time. A lot of people are always driving by it, walking by it, riding there bicycles, standing in front of it looking at it and taking pictures in front of it all hours of the day and night. It's in Winnetka, IL, a few suburbs north of Chicago by Lake Michigan. There are a lot of other movies that were filmed nearby like Ferris Bueller's Day off and Sixteen Candles. Michael Jordan also still owns a mansion up in Highland Park that he's having a hard time getting anybody to buy. He doesn't live in it anymore, and it's for sale been on the market for many years.
I love drives with scary stories I like the way you chat and tell stories and chat some more. Plus the occasional off colored joke. It’s great. Keep it going ❤

Dan, I wonder if you might enjoy overpainting on the prints that had unintended coloration? I am imagining your doing something abstract... and artistic or whatever you like better. It could be fun, and if they don't turn out, they don't have to be used. Just an offhand thought...

I used to live in Fairborn, Ohio and directly across the street from the Air Force base was a drive in theater that at one time played porn movies. The stupidest part was there was a skating rink directly behind the privacy fence. My ex husband and his brother would get dropped off at the skating rink by their mom and then they would watch the movies through the fence. I swear this is true.
I like Crystal Geyser water from Dollar Tree. I give my feral cats this also, because the Gastonia NC town water makes them sick. There is a man on TH-cam, who tested a bunch of brands of water. No I can't remember what his name is.
I find something really relaxing about these late night drive Livestreams. Maybe it's because I love urban nighttime settings.
