Former wildlife biologist chiming in. Those were coyotes at 23:00 and 30:00. It sounded like they just got a kill with the way they were carrying on. One thing to keep in mind is that our coyotes in the east aren't actual coyotes, their mixed with wolves which is why they are so much bigger and take down white tailed dear. Also the vocalization to listen for that says the are hunting are short yips which is them letting one another know where they are as they work to corner their prey which could be you lol.
When Collin, and Peyton showed up at 38:00 though I don't know wtf that was. My specialty was Herpetology, and Ornithology so I specialed in birds and amphibians and I don't wtf that vocalization was.
Sorry for the multiple updates. I'm at a loss for words as to what in the actual fuck that was in the raw audio. I don't even know man I was a wildlife biologist for almost 10 years and while I only spent some time in the south, I have spent thousands of hours in the woods in the WV,PA,OH tri-state area and have never heard a vocalization like that before.
Yeah, one killed my cat a couple of years ago. Our neighborhood has a lot of them now since they've started developing the more rural areas east of here. You hear them all night. The coyotes have gotten bold, losing their habitat, and have even been stalking joggers. They can be so quiet too, I think that duck and pig were theirs. They were probably watching these guys the entire time. They dropped my cat so at least I could bring her body home 😞 If you're ever getting stalked by a coyote, yell, scream, hit things, they need to see humans as a threat or they get bold which is dangerous for them too. Whenever a coyote attacks a jogger, animal control goes out and shoots every coyote they see. They need to learn to stay away from humans.
That's what I thought. Would make sense with the dead animals being there. The pig definitely looked like it was in the middle of being eaten by a predator (the claw marks on the flesh are in line with predator activity.) Also hear a lot of birds..

Dan you had just missed the most epic Boar VS Mallard battle...The Mallard won, ripping the skin off his foe. As he was feasting upon the flesh of his victim he choked on some of that coarse pig hair causing him to expire, seemingly unscathed. I am surprised you did not check The Mallard's esophagus for a blockage. A little hint from someone who knows a bit about wildlife, when you run across a wild pig (or any game) with the back end half eaten out, that's usually a big cat. They almost always go for the hind end first. The fact it was only half eaten and still fresh, means the cat is still around. It will stay by it's kill until most of it is gone. It was probably only feet from you. I think it may have been a young one, since it was really sloppy, tearing the skin more than a practiced adult would. Good thing for you guys, since it was probably intimidated by you, and adult would have been a bit more aggressive defending it's kill. LOL
Hey Dan. Love your work. I discovered your channels about 2 years ago and and I've really enjoyed the ADR series as well as your dead mall series and all of the abandoned places episodes. I observed that as well. I'm not sure if there were any power lines above the parking lot, or any obstacles the drake may have hit. The unscathed Mallard corpse definitely points to the neck somehow being broken.
I don't think the neck looked broken. Duck's can do that, turn their neck around nearly 180°. It's how they preen their feathers on their back. I think it was poisoned.

This reminds me of the documentary the kids in Blair Witch Project were trying to make. I keep expecting you to be chased by Bigfoot now.
This series is so good. This ones like blair witch with a bigfoot twist! Great as always Dan
NGL Dan, I don't come here for the shamsquansh. I come here for your kickass cinematography and story telling!
I'm pretty sure that whatever was hitting the ground around the 17:00 or so mark was the Beaver chunking rocks at you trying to get you to leave. Ha!
I'm more worried about Gators than some bog monster.
Or wild pigs. Those big ones are mean (they say).
I’ve hiked and camped thru there several times. It’s the water moccasin snakes that are the biggest danger, IMO. Wear snake guards and watch your step! If you get bitten way back in there, you’re in trouble. It came take all day to hike 4 miles through that mud.
@@jfromgausa8762 it female you got watch for there big n mean n protective of young
Your productions are always amazing, Dan. HOW are you not super famous yet?! Another awesome Dan Bell video! Thanks!
45:56 is the sound to listen for....once the coyotes get stirred up, they do their howl also.
That was terrifying!
Absolutely love this series and absolutely love your content!! You make me laugh and jump all at once. Dan you're a truly amazing artist with your work. Keep it up!!! Love it
A little hint from someone who knows a bit about wildlife, when you run across a wild pig (or any game) with the back end half eaten out, that's usually a big cat. LOL
They were lucky.
I absolutely love your style of documentary and your editing is fantastic!! Can’t wait for the next one 👣
yup. 30:00 and 44:55 coyotes, with some Deliverance shanty dogs in the mix. city boys😉
Hey Dan. Love your work. I discovered your channels about 2 years ago and and I've really enjoyed the ADR series as well as your dead mall series and all of the abandoned places episodes. I wish you would do some more ADR but I know that's hard with the current circumstances. Haven't watched your stuff recently but I enjoyed this live stream. Keep up the good work!
Really like your Documentaries, I perfer them over those big production Documentaries. Very creepy yet relaxing. You should do a Chupacabra Documentary
For sure.
Dan, I need so much more of you in my life!
Dan Bell doesn't like beavers. Who'd have guessed it...
No need for snarky jokes. The year is 2021. Who cares about his personal life.
Dan Bell has documented and highlighted the shift of American consumerism.
Delighted he's grappling the "unknown" due to his unexpected hotel encounter.
@@AimeeAimee444 go get a sense of humour ❄ The comment was observational humour. It wasn't a dig or an insult. There was nothing what so ever derogatory about my comment / joke.
What does this joke even mean and whyd that person get so mad
@@arachanine lol
@@AimeeAimee444 you're the reason comedy is dead.
Very enjoyable show. Thank you for behaving like sane adults, unlike those other monster shows. Amazing quality audio recordings.
I'm never disappointed watching your work, Thank you.❣👍
It looks like the ducks neck was broken... 🤷🏼♀️
I observed that as well. I'm not sure if there were any power lines above the parking lot, or any obstacles the drake may have hit. The unscathed Mallard corpse definitely points to the neck somehow being broken.
Yes.
I don't think the neck looked broken. Duck's can do that, turn their neck around nearly 180°.
It's how they preen their feathers on their back. I think it was poisoned.
A coyote got it, they sling them in their jaw to break their neck.
Oh hell yes! That beginning montage is sooo dang good man! Well done! Bravo!
"You want your paycheck don't you??" LMAO!!!
Yes! I've been waiting on this video for soooo long! It was awesome! The sounds you recorded at the end were amazing.
I would love to see dan bell make a horror movie, he is really good at giving his videos this creepy feeling, I dont think it would take much to make it a full horror, just add a monster to case them down in the dark or something, would be super fun :) like having this cowboy hattet guy turn out to be a psycopath stalking them in the Woods doing creepy stuff xD
Visuals on point as always!
The Ballad from Boggy Creek II "Lonely Cry" is a real earworm.
OUTSTANDING! Looking through my notifications and what do I see but a brand new video from the awesome Film Producer Dan Bell. Good to see you post something on TH-cam again finally.
