Great tutorial boss! I use my scribing tool though to outline my weapon on the plaplates. Makes cutting out the weapon out of the pla plate easier for me 😁Looking forward to more of your tutorials 😁
Planning my first full custom build and was trying find some info on scratch building melee weapons . This is exactly what I needed awesome video great info and your builds are amazing keep it up!!
Hwo about making weapons with clear effect parts in the future?? That'll be an interesting custom we'd all love to see. Great video and tutorial as always bro!
I've been thinking of a couple of "plasma/beam" cannons on above the shoulders but with high mobility, like in "Edge of Tomorrow" film (like a Gundam thunderbolt but no shields)
Thanks for the tutorial!!!!!!!! What can be the alternative plaplate that I can buy in a local school supplies store or any art store? Also, I don't have any scribing tool, do you have tips about scribing without a proper tool? Hahaha I' m so poor.
average person well I don't recommend scribing without any proper tools cause it's just too risky. I did made a scriber using needle and it does work but it requires a whole lot of getting used to. For Pla plates alternatives you can go for styrene sheet :) it's basically the same thing! 😃
A question a want yo star scribing and a i'm planning to buy the scriber you have(the red one) working well for beginner(i Will use in HG the sizes work fines informativos that size)? And a tip if the blade for you exacto knife is losing sharp you can sharpen with a 200grind and 400grind sandpaper and extend the life use for the blade
Hey ! I really love you custom builds on your main channel and I'm very hyped by the G Academy ! Quick suggestion : it would be great if you could explain or maybe show the process behind kitbashing. Some really good customs are made with a grain of kitbash but I find that kind of difficult for me, as a newbie. For example: which models from which series and/or era goes with which one ? Mechanics and joints have changed (I built a 1/144 Barbatos after a bunch of Gundam SEED models and the building process and the parts were not the same at all !) so maybe some models aren't compatible ? Anyways ! Good luck for this project, I'm looking forward for more ! P.S.: side comment but I've always wondered if the unbuilding process was an editing magic or if dropping parts from a certain height always "destroys" the part itself ; in any case it's really cool looking and is a huge part of your video style, such as the cutting part which is really soothing (kind of ASMR-esque too :p )
hi, when i tried to paint the weapon, the paint wont stick to the edges of the pla plates. i suspect it has anything to do with that part has a bit of cement left, but on other edges the paint is also too thin. any suggestions?

I'm really sure I can use a 3D software (like Fusion 360 or Blender) and my MSLA 3D printer for this too. 🤔

Question for the pla plate you didn't have to add any layers or anything just cut it once and you were done?
I need help what is the best scriber or chisel because I’m looking for high quality.
Definitely look for MadWorks or Sugiborito these two brands :)

The video needs more views. So the video will reveal the views. I think.
